Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's: The Master Of The Duel

After saving Blister, Blister contacted him several times for a drink. Genesis and Blister came together and under the influence of alcohol, Blister was raving about his other life as a duelist.

Genesis knew his story because he had seen the anime. Genesis had accompanied Blister several times in his hiding places.

And finally a certain day, in the middle of the night ...

In an apartment next to the upscale neighborhood of New Domino City, called "The Heights", Genesis was lying on his bed analyzing his cards for future combos and he was still unaware of his growing celebrity.

[POV Genesis]

"I love this world, I can fight with all my heart." I thought looking at the cards in my hands.

* Driiing * Driiing *

"The phone? ..." I got up to go see who was calling me because I knew few people.

"Yes, it's Genesis, who's the device?" I ask courteously.

"Hi Genesis, I need your help, and quickly!" I could hear Blister's voice on the other side of the phone.

I felt the urgency in Blister's voice and asked him, "What's going on ?!"

"It's ... a friend needs help ..." Blister's voice was weak, I knew it was because of his past, but hearing Blister, I realized that Yusei had arrived.

"Okay, where should I come from?" I answered him.

"Come to the pound, quickly!" I then heard Blister hang up.

I then got up from the bed in which lay down and I dressed in speed before taking my Deck and my Duel Disk. I then left my elevator and took the elevator to the underground garage.

In the elevator, I took my Deck in my hand and c.a.r.e.s.sed my cards thinking, "It's finally starting."

The elevator finally arrived at the (-1) floor and I put my cards and I headed towards my private garage to take my Duel Runner.

I boarded my Duel Runner and rushed at the speed of lightning towards the pound. On the way, I was thinking about meeting Yusei and I felt like a Fan-boy, but I kept calm.

Finally, I saw the pound and at that moment, I heard the voice of Blister in the headset of my helmet.

"Genesis, take the road to your right and you must see me."

I advanced a little and I turned right in the next lane to see Blister in the shade make me a sign.

I stopped beside him and asked him, "What do you need?"

Blister had a hard look but he ended up telling me, "A friend is running away from the security guards and in a very long time he had to get here."

"I need you to escort him and prevent him from getting caught, I could run away, no one can catch me."

I looked at Blister and ended up nodding. Over the past few days, I learned to know Blister and I discovered that he has several secret hiding places scattered throughout the city of New Domino. He's a resourceful guy.

"Ok, tell me what to do." Blister began to explain his plan.

Blister gave orders to Yusei to allow him to escape and now I was watching the elevator doors open and I thought, "It's coming!"

In episode 2 of season 1, Yusei jumped in the elevator to get off.

Me and Blister were watching the elevator carefully mounted on our Duel Runner. Blister said to his mic, "Yusei, get ready for the impact."

Blister then looked at me and he said to me, "Genesis, Yusei will be coming in a few seconds, after that we'll help him get out of the pound, ok?"

I nodded and finally, I heard a loud crash and when I turned my head to see the source, I saw Yusei riding his Duel Runner. Yusei had no monsters on his land.

Then I saw the doors of the elevator break and Trudge came out violently shouting, "I'm not done with you yet!"

Trudge rushed with his Duel Runner and dabbed Yusei. I watched the scene as a Fan-boy.

"Deekitaaa"

Blister started his Duel Runner and pushed Trudge with his foot. I started my Duel Runner and followed him. Blister pushed Trudge and made him fall and I choked a few laughs.

"Pfft .."

Yusei then turned to Blister and said, Thank you for helping Blister. "

I watched Blister play the Tsundere and I ended up talking, "Blister, stop playing Tsundere."

Blister snatched a small bag from his waist and threw it on my face.

"Shut up the kind of crazy."

I ducked the bag by braking with my Duel Runner and I replied, "Okay, Okay, I'll stop."

Yusei looked at me questioningly and then he turned to Blister and asked, "Who's who?"

Before Blister could open his mouth to speak, I started to introduce myself, "My name is Genesis and I am a very talented duelist."

Yusei stared at me with an impassive face before looking at Blister for confirmation.

Blister nodded and said, "Believe me, he's an outstanding duelist."

I saw Yusei smile as I heard Blister's words. I smiled when I noticed he was slightly excited when I learned that I was a great duelist.

[Yusei POV]

Hearing Blister's serious words about Genesis, I smiled because there are strongest duelists there are few and any duelist worthy of name wants to face someone strong to prove that he is the best.

While I was in my thoughts, a laugh was heard behind me. When I turned around I saw Trudge catch up with me.

"You will not escape me, Yusei!"

"It's really heavy, but I have to play if I do not want to be in the detention center anymore."

[POV Genesis]

"I want to fight him." I thought looking at Yusei.

As we all went out and Yusei and Blister were talking about friendship, I heard a laugh behind us.

When I turned around, I saw Trudge scream with a mad smile, "You will not escape me, Yusei!"

I shudder when I hear his words, "This guy is a top-level stalker."

Then Yusei continued his duel with Trudge.

[Yusei POV]

"And here we go again!

{Yusei: 3500: 5 cards: 4 counters}

"I invoke the [Celerity Warrior] in attack position!"

[Hurricane Warrior / Effect: ATK / 900 - DEF / 400]

"And now look at the agent, my monster's attack points are doubling!"

When I mentioned the effect of my monster, Trudge laughed.

"Ahahah, shame, I activate my trap card! [Power vise]! 'Your monster can no longer attack until the next turn and its attack points will be reduced to zero!"

I squeezed the handle of my Duel Runner on hearing the effect of Trudge's trap card.

[POV Genesis]

I watched the Yusei duel that I found disappointing. He is very weak but I know that in the future he will improve, but now I can beat him in only a few l.a.p.s.

The duel went as in the episode. Yusei summoned [Turbo Warrior] and activated his effect to decrease [Guardian Goyo] 's attack points.

[Turbo Warrior / Effect: ATK 2500 / DEF 1500]

[Guardian Goyo / Effect: ATK 1400 (2800) / DEF 2000]

Then he activated [Synchro Attack] and his effect allowed his [Turbo Warrior] to gain 500 Atk for each Tuner monster in the graveyard.

{Trudge: 3000: 4 cards: 5 counters}

[Turbo Warrior / Effect: ATK 4500 (2500) / DEF 2000]

Trudge tried to cheat but Blister blocked Trudge who wanted to knock Yusei out of his Duel Runner.

"Yusei attack, finish it!"

Yusei hesitated but Blister told him that's what friends do.

Yusei builds Trudge but passing Blister I gave him a small GPS to know where we were and he shouted for help.

"Genesis! Helps Yusei!"

Yusei wanted to stop but Blister shouted, "Get out Yusei! Hurry, I can manage! "

Seeing Yusei wanting to stop in front of me because he was worried about Blister, I shouted at him, "Go straight ahead Yusei, do not worry about Blister, he knows how to get along!"

Yusei did not stop and accelerated towards the exit. I was behind him and we crossed the corridor to finish with a jump in the middle of security officers armed with electric batons.

We were surrounded by agents who electrocuted us, but both of us held on and continued to rush with our Duel Runner out of the crowd of agents but I felt like I was cooking.

"Aaahhahhhh"

At a certain moment, I had the impression that some agents started shouting, "This is the scarlet duelist!"

"Get him!"

I was confused when they called me that way but my head was dizzy.

Finally, Yusei and I managed to get out of the encirclement of the agents and both were in bad shape but we kept a lucidity. At last Yusei and I were quite far from the sirens of the agents.

I followed Yusei with the little vision I had left and cursed the agents for their violence. Finally, Yusei crashed into a wall that he broke and he fell in the middle of garbage with his Duel Runner and I too followed him. My Duel Runner fell to the ground but I did not faint like Yusei.

I got up and supported Yusei by the shoulder. When suddenly a front door opened and two green-haired children came out.

Looking at them, I recognized them as Leo and Luna.

I used my last strength to tell them, "Help us, ple-"

Finally, I could not finish my sentence and I fell with Yusei on the back, my vision blackened and my last thought was, "Shit, I'll pay those security guards one day."
