Chapter 16 - 2780-Space City Iron Lake (044165)-Play!

*Recommendation....Read sinisterly*

A man stands, pacing over a woman's body, blood splattered over him, and in a room full of hostages. He dreads the things that he will do from here, as thoughts of fleeing flash through his mind.

Death is an awakening for him. His heart beats as if to get away from him.

As he paces the room his arm scraps the side of his forearms, as he develops a bit of an itch, from the affirmative anxiousness.

"ohohohoh, ohohoho shit," he says in a babbling tongue as the fear washes over him. He didn't mean to do that; he didn't realize what he was doing it, it was an accident, he thought as his mind screamed.

He was continuously freaking out. He had just killed someone...his best punitive outcome would be good if he were not going to be put to death, in the most brutal of manners.

Fear is taking ahold of him as he stumbles through the room frantically, then he finds a last burst of sanity....He looks around the room at the many hostages he has taken and stares at the captive audience like their his likely answer...

All he wondered was if he was supposed to kill them all right then... or later?

He breathes a shallow sissy breath, As calm flows over him, almost coming into laughter, then stopping. He would use the people around him to navigate the dangers that he would face later, he just wondered how many of them he needed...

...

His face taps on a button on his temple, habitually changing his facial structure.

Every now and again. In front of his crowd of hostages.... he was changing into several different men.

You could almost hear the bones in his face reforming underneath his skin.

*crick Crick crick crick Crick*

The man had GONE mad...

Because if he wasn't, he MUSTN'T really feel any pain. Even with technology so advanced changing something so drastically after birth was always painful. It was the most painful than anything that you could imagine.

The crowd of ten was horrified, they were reluctant to all die here.

.....

A little girl cried her eyes red, to her mother, as not too far from her a man, empty's his bladder on the floor, the fear from being the most likely to die, influencing his slight.

He had the most reason to regret, as the woman on the floor was the Killers wife, in which he had been having an affair with.

At the moment his only fear was that the man would notice him. Or if he did notice him, know of the sin he was guilty of.

He found his mind going over the couple's conversation, scanning over if there was any mention of his name in the couple's argument.

Fearing to face the consequence of his mistakes, he now hated the ugly woman....his mind ached, his thoughts were all Soooo disrespectful. ..

The gunman scanned over the crowd, not paying any particular attention to the man, and helping him to believe more that it was the case. If he played his game right and kept himself, low from the profile, he believed he had a chance to survive this nightmare.

From the first moment of fear, he regained sanity, to then see that to his embracement he had wet himself, in front of his employees...

The woman with the little girls was a customer, who wondered in here at the wrong time, unjudgementally she carried her daughter away from the spreading puddle of urine. If only to protect her daughter from something in the room.

the rest of the crowd created an unnecessary amount of distance from the man.

.....

*go back to normal*

Zatland retracted the camera in his wristwatch, after capturing the images in the room. Remembering back to his schooling, he could tell that the man with the gun was developing some escalating Plans.

It wouldn't be weird if he decided to shoot more people.

He looked at Zion, both of them had gotten the closest, they could go too the entrance of the room without letting the perpetrator notice them.

Zion whispered, "he has a weird mask on."

Zatland replied "bone augmentation."

Zatland and Zion Had grown restless, waiting for the Authorities to arrive.

Before while waiting in the hallway, the both of them impatiently had decided to come towards the door and peek for clues.

Zatland had a watch, which could extend it (optic scanners) into the room, and they had gazed at the ongoings of the inside.

It wasn't long before they decided to formulate a plan to save the hostages.

and formulated a plan for the worst situation.... in case the gunman started killing Again.

They would have already gone into the room if it weren't for the chance of harming other people in the midst of their struggle.

If one bullet was let off, or the criminal discovered them, they wouldn't be able to close the distance at a fast enough instance, for somebody not to die.

They wondered what the hell it was, that was taking the authorities so long to get there.

"Zoo, I think he's gonna kill them, we might have to do something," Zion said.

Zatland nodded as he thought of what to do.

After a sequence of fast visualization in his mind, enacting all his possible actions, and consequences. Zatland concluded; they had to take a bullet to the c.h.e.s.t. It was the only way out.

...

The man who paced the room, in an almost crazed, and nervous fashion, still manage to hold the gun, in the perfect angle, to raise it up at any moment. His unstable movements made it harder to prejudge his pre-established destinations, and his muscle reflexes looked oddly stable.

The man had obviously held a firearm many times before.

And it was hard to judge if they could get the gun away from him....

More reason to prove that the man was trained.

...

Right now, Zatland wondered, if the man had been trained by the military or the police.

As those two were very different concepts. If it were a fellow military officer awakened or pre-awakened, then they would be in for a fight. But if it was a regular civilian officer or otherwise they could end up killing him with one punch.

In matters governing, civilian on civilian conflict, they were taught to not garner casualties. There was a large, confusing line, across which you could consider something excessive force or not.

When dealing with a civilian. To attack the man Zatland and Zion would have to find a balance. Between rough and brutal play.
