just when our protagonist got out from that warehouse he felt a huge energy though a bit far

yukiyo:- I feel a sudden burst of power from the forest near here.

jeanne:-let's go an check it.

then both of them started running towards that forest.

when they entered the forest they came across a high level barrier which was like a child's play for yukiyo as he walked through it while taking jeanne's hand as they entered the barrier

what was inside shocked them both to no end

it was a small town filled with vampires and various other devils.

this seems to be a hideout for strays.

while entering yukiyo used a mass genjustsu so that whenever someone sees them they think of them as strays.

when they first entered the town they all were eyeing them to check the newcomers

soon both of them came in front of the cafe

when they entered the cafe they both bought drinks and yukiyo asked the boss

yukiyo:-say, boss where can i earn here.

boss:-looks like you are new here.

yukiyo:-yeah i am

boss:-well you see that we all are not only stray devils and vampires but various tribes and everyone either owns a business or they go for the arena or they cam become a guinea pig for the leader.

yukiyo:-who is this leader.

boss:-you even don't know that

well this is common information that he is the strongest vampire here and he owns the research facility

yukiyo:- do you know what he is reseaching as my friend is also a researcher so may be this way i might be able to help him as well get some money.

boss:-i don't know rather no one knows about this but i know that there are many devils taken as guinea pigs.

and you can come on his eye if you are powerful.

yukiyo:-oh, so you are saying that he has a good eye for talent and takes the powerful devils.

boss:-yes, that is it

yukiyo:-thanks.

after thanking boss and giving a bit of more tip he leaves that place.

???:-so, did you guide him to go to arena.

suddenly the screen behind boss lits up

boss:-yes leader he wants to get into your project as well but is more intrested in money.

leader:-hehe. looks like we got ourselves a new pray.

then the screens turns off

while looking towards the door

boss:-you can't blame me for this kid.

with yukiyo and jeanne

jeanne:-why did you act like that in the cafe

she was confused as yukiyo was acting wierdly in the cafe

yukiyo:- i was probing that man if he is leader's subordinate or something

jeanne:-so, did you find that answer.

yukiyo:-yeah, i found it and he surely is his subordinate

jeanne:-how did you know

then suddenly yukiyo wears spectacles and sherlock holmes cap as he says

yukiyo:-1st when i asked about the leader he smiled a bit and wasn't fl.u.s.tered or surprised which shows that he was expecting that we would ask this question.

2nd he was directing the conversation towards arena or research facility like he wanted us to be interested in them

and 3rd and the last he easily told us how to get into the good books of their leader to someone new lile us which no sane person would do unless they have an ulterior motive

jeanne:- so what should we do now?

yukiyo:-we do nothing, the invitation to the arena will come to us automatically as from what i can see it seems that leader chooses people for experimenting from the arena.
