2 Years Of Restarting

The two men felt exasperated when the two women agreed like that. Internally, they agreed to watch their woman's call. Once they called each other, they have to watch what they talked about intently.

Though, their desire would soon die out because Feng Mian and Yu Yan never really chatted about it from their phone.

"Anyway, if you need help or anything, just give me a call." Feng Mian waved her hand and followed behind Zhang Liang.

Yu Yan smiled as she waved her hand. "You too! Don't overwork yourself just because your husband is a demon at work!"

"Hahaha! Are you really saying that in front of your Boss?"

"It's fine, we're outside workplace."

Zhang Liang: "…" she's really gutsy… just like Long Ying.

As soon as Feng Mian and Zhang Liang left, Long Ying looked at Yu Yan. "So, what kind of juicy story do you plan to share?"

"That's…" Yu Yan averted her eyes. There was still nothing much happened between the two of them because Yu Yan still didn't seem to be willing to take another step forward in their relationship. It was not like Long Ying wished to take advantage of her either.

"Hmm, tell me so I can help you relay to your best friend."

"There's no need for that!" Yu Yan's face was bright red. She stuck out her tongue. "That'll be for the future, so there's no need for you to know now."

Future, eh?

Long Ying was amused when he saw Yu Yan's face turned as red as her clothes. Well, he was patient enough and naturally would not coerce her to do anything she didn't want.

Yu Yan walked on the street towards Bar S. Her eyes lingered in the direction of the bar as she thought of what happened just now. Because of Feng Mian's arrival, she had completely forgotten, but she just realized that he finished his talk with the gang so quickly. It was as if he never had any intention to have a meeting with them here at all.

A smile formed on the corner of her lips. "Thank you, Ying."

"Hmm?"

"I'm happy to meet my best friend again." Yu Yan grinned.

Long Ying smiled and poked Yu Yan's forehead. "Even if I drag you into my world, I'll never let you be tied completely into it. You can still meet with your friends and go to work if you want to. I'll make sure that your new identity will not interfere with your previous lifestyle at all."

Yu Yan was dazed. She knew that it must be hard for Long Ying to let her maintain everything the same way as it was in the past. Since she already had new identity, shouldn't she also blend into his world?

But…. She also still wanted to work normally.

"Thank you, Ying."

"You don't have to be so polite with me, alright?" Long Ying felt helpless. His little woman was always so overly polite with him. He was never bothered with such trivial matters in the slightest bit and naturally will simply support his wife so that she would be able to stay happy.

That was his biggest wish.

When the two of them returned back to Bar S, Lan Huo felt like vomiting blood. He felt as if he could see flowers blooming behind the two of them as if spring was coming even though it was autumn. 

'Did something happen on their way here?'

He felt that he really got the worst luck when he came here to become the guard. The numerous dog food thrown to his face had started to become unbearable. How would he survive in the future like this?

"I would like to head to my apartment for a moment." Yu Yan recalled that she needed to settle some things in her apartment. While it was possible for her to not care about those things anymore, she would rather not leave it out in the open.

Besides, she wanted to tell her neighbors that she moved.

Long Ying furrowed his brows but he nodded. "Do you want to take the items from your apartment or just leave it be?"

"The rest are not that important. I just want to say goodbye to Aunt Su and others who live in the same apartment. They're my neighbors and some are quite kind when I'm staying there."

Yu Yan naturally didn't have any interest to pick up the rest of the items that was left inside her room. She also didn't want to step inside her previous apartment anymore because of the bad experience she had there. 

The only reason why she wanted to return was because she hadn't bidden her farewell to her neighbors.

At the very least, she wanted them to know that she would be moving and would not stay there anymore.

Long Ying looked at his wife and thought about what his men had told him. The neighbors who were living around Yu Yan's apartment were already bribed by Bao Tu to not speak about what had happened that day to everyone.

They were also asked to say that Yu Yan was the one who was at fault.

His silver eyes narrowed. "They're not good people. It's not worth it for you to come back for them."

"Eh?" Yu Yan tilted her head. She pursed her lips. "At least, let me meet them and see it by myself, please?"

Hearing her request, Long Ying didn't think that it was good for him to reject her. Even though he knew that she might be disappointed by those people's action when she saw what they actually did, it would indeed be better for her to see what they did for herself and not rely on what other people said.

Long Ying sighed. "Go to Bungalow Apartment."

"Yes, Boss."
