"Are they saying that Dragon Clan breach their territory?"

"Yes. We might need to have some fights to determine which territory it would belong to in the end." Lan Huo sighed. "When it comes to fight, it doesn't matter who the area belonged to previously because it would all end up owned by the one who win in the end."

Yu Yan nodded. It felt like a war but that might be what these people had been saying it in secret with each other. She looked at Long Ying, hoping that the matter would not be that troublesome.

"There's no need to worry so much, Madam. There's no one who can take Dragon Clan's territory in the capital city. Those who create trouble are just his long term enemies who want some skirmish," Lan Huo tried to reassure Yu Yan.

Yu Yan nodded. She was not that knowledgeable about his work, so she didn't wish to get involved too deeply either. It was enough for her to know the general outline so that she would not be like an idiot who didn't even know where her husband was going.

There was a traffic jam, which made the journey took longer time.

The two of them stopped midway to eat dinner before resuming the journey and in the end Lan Huo took detour to let Yu Yan looked around. She had only stayed in the capital city for a short period of time in the past and during that time, she was still too young to go anywhere.

"I'll take you around if you want in the future. You don't need to memorize the road completely." Long Ying saw Yu Yan was looking outside with fascinated eyes and couldn't help but say it. City A was also an advance city but compared to the Capital City… it was nothing.

Yu Yan nodded but still didn't move her eyes from the window.

"The traffic jam is really bad today. Is there any accident?" Long Ying took out his phone and called his subordinate. Upon hearing what his men said, his eyes grew colder.

Tsk, some people were really impatient to get beaten up.

"Boss?"

"Return back first. Just clean up for today and collect the evidences. I'll settle them tomorrow." Long Ying snorted. Did they think that they could anything they want just because he left for a few days? They were gravely wrong if they think that the Dragon Clan would stay quiet. 

The journey took another hour and being fed and tired, Yu Yan fell asleep on the car.

When they reached the mansion, Long Ying looked at his wife helplessly and carried her carefully. The clan members who were stationed on the mansion were all looking at each other as astonishment flashed their eyes.

There is a madam in the house now?

'She's light.'

This has been in Long Ying's mind for some time, but he realized that his wife was really thin and light. He could carry her easily as if he was carrying nothing but air. Did she eat too little?

Long Ying felt that he needed to fatten her up starting tomorrow.

He carried Yu Yan back to their room and put her down on the bed carefully. The little woman turned her body around and clutched his hand as if unwilling to let it go. He helplessly sat by her side to help her take off her shoes. Even though he wanted to let her change into more comfortable clothes, this position didn't allow him to do so.

Seeing that it was getting late, he had no other choice but to lay down by her side and take rest.

Early in the morning, Yu Yan was staring at the ceiling speechlessly. How many times she had woken up with unfamiliar ceiling? But turning her head to the side, she could see Long Ying sleeping defenseless beside her. It was rare for her to see him still sleeping when she woke up.

For the past few days, Long Ying would have already left whenever Yu Yan woke up from her sleep. Her eyes trailed down and she noticed that he was wearing the clothes from yesterday.

'Eh? When did we head to bed yesterday?'

While Yu Yan was confused, Long Ying's eyes opened. He was someone who was sensitive to movement and naturally when Yu Yan began to move around, he woke up. His silver eyes immediately saw the young woman sleeping beside him and a smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

"Morning, Yan'er."

"Morning, Ying," Yu Yan greeted back instinctively. She then hurriedly stood up. "Uhm, did you bring me here yesterday?"

"You fell asleep on the car." Long Ying's answer was concise. He simply told her about what happened yesterday with one single sentence. "I'll be going all day today. Do you have anything you want to do?"

Yu Yan nodded. "My aunt sent me her birthday invitation. Originally, I don't plant to attend but since I'm already in the Capital City, I guess I should go."

Her aunt sent her the invitation two weeks ago when Yu Yan was still in City F and not involved in this mess. At first, she simply ignored it because she was not really close with her aunt. But since she was already in the capital city and more likely would have to enter the middle and upper society again, she knew that she would need to start appearing in parties again.

Since her aunt was such a party addict, it would be good for her to start her appearance again in this place.

"Your aunt?" Long Ying's eyes narrowed.

"Kang Mao Yao," Yu Yan said helplessly.. Well, she didn't really want to but her aunt had a lot of connections and to announce her return to the upper class society, this would be needed.
