2 Years Of Restarting

"Ditch class?" the young Long Ying was stunned by the young Yu Yan's suggestion. While he did think about doing that, he would be reprimanded heavily by his uncle if he dared to ditch class openly.

The young Yu Yan nodded seriously. "My parents are busy today and couldn't come, so I don't want to stay in class. Would you like to come along with me, Long Ying?"

Her parents also couldn't come.

When listening to what the young Yu Yan said, the young Long Ying felt a bit of empathy. His parents would never come to the parents' meeting because they didn't even want to recognize him as their son due to the strict regulation of Dragon Clan and Long Family tradition.

Staying here while watching other children got cozy with their parents were sickening. He had long wished that he could punch them in their faces and made them unable to stay close to him in the slightest bit.

"Sure. Where do you want to go?" the young Long Ying chose to come along with the young Yu Yan. At the very least, he knew that he would be able to have fun if he went with the young Yu Yan rather than staying in this place and watched the other children flaunted their parents' care to them.

It was really funny in his opinion when a classmate complained to him that his parents reprimanded him. In the young Long Ying's life, his parents never cared for him and would not care about him. They only wished that he would stay alive until the next child with silver eyes were born in Long Family lineage.

"How about the game center?" the young Yu Yan suggested. "There's a new game center not far from the school."

"That's not a bad idea, but how do you think we should avoid the guards to get out of the school first?"

"Uhm, climb the wall?"

The young Long Ying looked at the young Yu Yan with doubt. "Can you really climb the wall?"

"What? Are you doubting me?" the young Yu Yan was annoyed. "Let's bet! The loser will treat the winner to ice cream! I definitely can climb the wall and jump over to the street."

"Sure. Let's head to the back."

In the end, the young Yu Yan did manage to climb the wall with the young Long Ying's help and got out of the school compound. The two have fun in the game center before the young Long Ying brought the young Yu Yan home. 

The two of them were reprimanded heavily by the next day, though.

"What are you thinking?" Long Ying noticed that Yu Yan fell into a trance. Looking at her gaze that seemed to see through him, he had the feeling that she was remembering their high school days again. He couldn't help but sigh whenever he thought that Yu Yan was still thinking their school days even though they have each other now.

"Oh, I'm… thinking that we should bake a cake."

"Bake a cake?" Long Ying looked at Yu Yan with a strange expression. He had never make a cake in his entire life.

Yu Yan grinned. "Come on, let's go to the kitchen and make your favorite chocolate cake."

"Wait, I don't know how to bake."

"I'll teach you."

When Yu Yan said that she would teach Long Ying, she truly meant it. The two of them didn't really need to work since it was red calendar day, so Yu Yan was not worried that her phone would be bombarded with calls because of work.

"That's not how you hold it. You need to stir everything inside."

"Wait, you forgot the sugar."

"Hey!"

Mixing the sugar, flour, chocolate, and everything else in order, the two of them mixed it all. Afterwards, Yu Yan poured everything to one tray and put it in the oven.

"That should be all." Yu Yan grinned, wiping her face after the work hard of teaching Long Ying how to bake a cake.

Long Ying looked at the kitchen and silently apologized to Auntie Yun for making the kitchen messy. He was sure that Auntie Yun will reprimand the two of them for spilling things here and there.

"How long do we need to wait?"

"Hmm? Around half an hour." Yu Yan looked at the table. "In the meantime, we should clean up the table. Auntie Yun still need to use the kitchen to cook for us later."

"How do you even plan to salvage the kitchen like this?" Long Ying picked a spoon that he accidentally bent when they were mixing the chocolate. He used too much force and the spoon just simply bent to the other side.

"Well, can you straighten it back again?" Yu Yan asked awkwardly. Looking at how the spoon was, she felt that she greatly underestimated Long Ying's strength. To think that he could actually bent a spoon just like that….

"Yes."

Long Ying used his hand and pinched the spoon lightly. With enough force, the spoon returned back to its original shape.

Yu Yan giggled. "You look like a magician just now."

"What magician? I just use my strength."

"But it's still cool."

"Hmm."

Putting the spoon in the sink, Long Ying watched as Yu Yan wiped the table with the cloth. She was working earnestly and seeing her like this made him felt that she was really cute. 

Noticing that Long Ying was standing before one part of the table, Yu Yan tilted her head. "Why are you standing there?"

"I'm watching my wife."

"Wha…?" Yu Yan's face turned red. She pouted. "If you have so much free time, why don't you help me clean up."

Long Ying's eyes landed on the chocolate that was on Yu Yan's cheek. When they mixed the chocolate in, there were some parts that spilled and it seemed that Yu Yan accidentally smear her face with the chocolate when she was not paying attention.

"Alright."

"Hmm?" Yu Yan was stunned when she saw Long Ying's face up close. Before she knew, the next thing that happened was that Long Ying had already got close to her and kissed her cheek. Before she had the chance to protest, he locked her lips with his.

There were two things that crossed Yu Yan's mind right now. First, how in the world baking cake turn him on? Secondly, why is his kiss taste like chocolate?

Bang!

"Boss, there's…." Lan Huo's words stuck on his throat. He felt that he had just committed a grave sin right now. The sight in front of him was really going to burn his eyes.

He only knew that his Boss and Madam were making cake together in the kitchen. But who would have thought that when he entered inside, the sight that greeted him would be the two of them kissing each other deeply? If he hadn't come in, would his Boss have continued….?

Long Ying released Yu Yan and felt a bit frustrated. He glared at Lan Huo, who was standing near the door. "What is it?"

While Long Ying asked Lan Huo, Yu Yan also seemed to realize what had happened. Her cheek turned crimson as she turned around and escaped from the kitchen right away. She felt so embarrassed right now!

Why did that Lan Huo had to open the door right at that very time?

Lan Huo coughed dryly. "Boss, there's a call from Han Kuai. He's saying that he can only deliver the explosive next week at the earliest because he's being monitored."

"Tell him it's fine."

"Yes, Boss."

Long Ying waved his hand and Lan Huo couldn't wait to leave. He looked at the messy table and the cloth Yu Yan had left before picking it up. When he saw Yu Yan working hard just now, he felt that he wanted to bully her a little bit. In the end, the bullying might be end up a bit too much.

He still wanted more, though.

Outside, Lan Huo quickly informed Han Kuai about Long Ying's words before he picked his phone and made another call. "AN LUO! You better come back now!"

"Why in the world are you calling me and ask me to return back out of nowhere?" An Luo, who was still in City A, was speechless. 

"I need you to come here! Boss will kill me!"

"Kill you?" An Luo blinked his eyes before realization dawned to him. "Was it because you barge in when Boss is making out with Madam? Didn't I tell you before that you need to be careful when entering any room or you might encounter the two of them together."

"Just help me out here! Boss will surely skin me alive tomorrow!"

"…I can't help."

"An Luo! You're my brother…"

Du! Du! Du!

The call was already disconnected. Lan Huo gritted his teeth and quickly called An Luo once more. However, the call couldn't connect.

Lan Huo bitterly realized that his comrade brother… blacklisted him!
