A Journey Through...

Flender woke up as he sensed the arrival of his class and Zhao Wuji, 'Those little monsters have come back...'

Everyone was happy that they finally got back, Ray said to his grandpa, "Do you really have to leave you could stay in the academy as well you know?", "Nah, that would be intruding on you and your friends, I will watch you from my tree house on the outskirts of the academy.", "Wait...treehouse?!!!", "Hm? Oh, yea those 7 treasured glass tower people are really nice, they helped build me a little home in this tree.", Ray looked at his grandpa and thought, 'Rongrong's dad really is a man not to be toyed with, what a schemer...sigh...', the funny thing was Ray wasn't the only thing who was thinking this as his grandpa was watching Ray's reaction and was thinking, 'Hehe...seems like my grandson knows what they're up to, he really is smart to realise this as soon as I finished, looks like I don't need to worry about him as much'. Ray said goodbye to his grandpa and he watched him fly away, Mubai went up to him and said, "Come on bro, let's go, you can always go and see him later, today really has been hectic.", "Sigh...you right about that one.", they both smiled and walked off towards there room.

NEXT DAY

Ray woke up to fatty Hong's shouting as he was going to all the rooms to wake everyone up to eat, Ray and Mubai just got up and followed him to the food court, on the way he saw Xiao Wu who looked a bit sad so he went up to her and said, "Hey Xiao Wu you looked troubled, what's wrong?", obviously Ray already knew what was wrong but he can't say that "Oh, hey senior, it's nothing...", "It doesn't seem that way, you can't hide your emotions from me", Xiao Wu looked at Ray who's eyes went silver, she said, "Fine, Tang san's not talking to me and was talking to Ronrong...", Ray was smiling at her pouting face and said, "Oh, I can probably guess why.", "Oh? Could you tell me?", "Sure, you see little Xiao Wu, Rongrong is a girl of business, like many in her clan, and she saw worth in Tang san's skills and cool hidden weapons, from my assumption from knowing her these past few days, she just wants to make a deal or something from him and his weapons, if your wondering if she likes him, I would say not in the way your thinking, she just means to talk business.", Xiao Wu blushed as she understood and Ray could feel the change in her emotions, they weren't as lost as before and she seemed to cheer up now.", Ray said, "Okay imma head forward first.", "Okay big brother.", "Ray paused and smiled, nodded and he speeded forward and along the way he was thinking, 'Sigh...now I gotta give the same god damn speech to that love-struck junior of mine Oscar...'

Soon Ray found Oscar who looked like someone shot his puppy and gave the same speech to him and by the end, he understood and said, "Oh, that makes sense, there's no way my Rongrong would like someone like Tang san, haha!", then he blushed as he realised he said that towards Ray, and he said whilst stuttering, "U-um big bro can we keep this quiet, please?!", "Sure, sure junior of mine, I won't say anything."

As Ray walked in he was in a happy mood thinking, 'Haha, take that Dr Phil, I just resolved some shit!', but then he shrugged the thought of and was listening to Rongrong talk to her business transaction and then the mood went sour again as Rongrong showed her gift from Tang san, Ray looked around and thought whilst slapping his face, 'God f.u.c.kin' dammit, I spoke too soon, how could I compete with the omnipotence of Dr Phil, sigh...'

Xiao Wu stormed off and Oscar looked a little sad but at least he got over it from a little thought but Ray thought that it was just because Tang san gave her a gift, but the reason Oscar got over the mood quick enough was because he thought it was just a harmless gift for the business transaction.

Ray got up and was about to leave to follow Xiao Wu and Tang san but then Mubai said, "Hey Ray where are you going?", "Hm? Oh, nowhere, I will be back in a sec.", "Oh, okay, but you better hurry up or else we will start without you guys, and you know how fatty is.", then fatty said, "Hey!", Mubai turned to face him and said, "What? I'm not wrong!", then fatty turned quiet and he knew deep down that Mubai was right.

Xiao Wu was sitting on a tree and looked sad, Ray realised that she would get over it after today so he ran towards Tang san went.

Ray kept his distance and decided he would show up when necessary and then Xiao Wu and Fatty Hong showed up, Xiao Wu looked at Tang san who tried to look away as he was saying he was now a monster but then she smiled and said how she would become a monster with him and then they could be together and finished with how she wanted him to still take back the hidden weapon and then Fatty Hong looked at the spider legs coming from Tang san's back and touched the spider legs and looked like he was drunk and he began swaying and eventually fell whilst looking pale and purple and then Ray showed up.

Ray looked at Tang san who looked a bit pale, he realised Ray showed up and he said, "Ray, I didn't mean to do this!", Ray laughed at Tang san's foolishness, Tang san didn't understand why Ray was laughing and Ray quickly stopped and said, "Tang san, you're not turning into a monster, that's a type of spirit bone, an external spirit bone, one of the rarest treasures that you can get from a spirit beast, and I know you didn't mean to hurt Fatty Hong now come we have a gues, someone you know has joined the school and he knows how to save the stupid fatty!", Ray picked up fatty and told Tang san to follow him towards the principle's office.

Ray kicked the big doors and the three teachers looked at him and bewilderment but before they could say anything he said, "Fatty's been poisoned, he needs help!", Zhao Wuji was confused and said, "What weird thing did he eat this time...", but he was ignored and Ray looked at Flender and grandmaster and said, "It was from the poison of a human-faced demon spider.", this made them even more shocked and then the grandmaster looked at Tang san who was next to Ray who was looking guilty and then the grandmaster said, "Xiao san what exactly happened?", Tang san looked down and said whilst stuttering, "I...I...", the grandmaster then looked at Ray ad said, "Do you know what happened?", Ray nodded, he put fatty down on the ground and came up the grand master and said whilst whispering, "Tang san obtained the external spirit bone of a human-faced demon spider, he doesn't know how to use it and by default was already in its poisonous state, the fatty touched it and got cut by the sharpness of the spider lances and poisoned by it.", the grandmaster was shocked by this news and said to everyone else, "Okay Xiao san, Ray, bring the fatty in and everyone else out!"

Outside everyone else was wondering what was taking so long, they saw the fatty get moved into another room and saw how pale he looked whilst being picked up by Ray and were wondering and Mubai shouted out on how the principal couldn't just leave someone else to care for the fatty but then Flender told them who he was and they all shut up.

Grandmaster looked at Tang san and said, "Do you know how to save him?", "I think I do?", "Then why aren't you doing it already?!", "But...but I don't dare to...", and then his external spirit bone was shown to the grandmaster who looked at it in awe and explained that he had to follow his instincts and Tang san followed his instincts to get the poison back and once it was done Ray said, "Okay he's still weak from the poison, so I'm going to have to heal him now.", the grandmaster nodded his head and was curious as to how he would heal him, Ray moved his hand over where Tang san had to stab the fatty to get the poison out and then a bright light went over him, the holy element was poured over him, this made the grandmaster further intrigued and he said, "Oh, Flender was right you do possess those two spirits.", soon fatty woke up and thought that he just had a nap but was then hungry and then Ray said, "Sigh...just eat this for now.", Ray gave a red pill to the fatty who said, "It tastes sweet like apples, got anymore?!", "Not for you, if I give you anymore then your puke, you should only take a few per week so no, that and there hard to make(lie he bought a bunch from the system and doesn't want to waste them on the fatty)"

They all came back outside and then grandmaster talked to Flender and how he needed his expensive medicines and then Flender was about to fall over but then Ray came up to him and said, "Sigh...you really are a money grabber, here's a 1000 gold principle...", Flender looked at Ray took the gold and said to grandmaster, "Do what you want.", and then grandmaster nodded and introduced himself.

The grandmaster of Yu Xiaogang asked all the students to come up and try and break a bowl, without any skills and to use spirit power instead, fatty hong got the bowl to fly forward but it didn't really break, he still passed, but didn't get a promised feast, Mubai couldn't break it, Tang san went next to prove that it could be broken, Oscar and Rongrong couldn't break it but did damage it, Zhu Zhu Qing couldn't break it as she didn't have any outward spirit skills, but Xiao Wu could but just because she was talented, then it was Ray's turn, grandmaster watched attentively, Ray stood in front of the bowl and waved his hands as if it was nothing and it turned into dust, everyone was quiet as they expected it to break but not turn into dust.

Yu Xiaogang nodded his head as he expected an outcome like this, Tang san looked at his master and said, "Master, how did he turn it into dust?", "Oh, that happened because of his martial spirit, it may be a beast spirit but it doesn't change what he looks like apart from his eyes, his innate ability is to control the elements around him so it should be extremely easy, that and everyone in his clan has an innate ability to be good with energy, so if you put those two together, then this outcome is expected.", Tang san looked at his master and said, "Oh yea, his clan, we met someone from there a few nights ago.", Yu Xiaogang gave his student a look and said, "Oh? Who?", "Um Ray said it was his grandfather, teacher Zhao called him Douluo Skyfire.", "Could you tell what level he was at?", "No, it was weird, it was like he didn't have a presence but when you looked at him it was like it burned.", "Yes, that would be expected, Xiao san if you ever get a feeling like that then it is someone extremely powerful, you know that there ranks even for title Douluo, yes?", "Yes, master, within title Douluo ranks they have normal Douluo's who are between 91-95 and then limit Douluo's who are 96-99.", "Yes, the person you met was a limit Douluo and one that was suppressing his energy, he was probably someone at 98-99 to give you that effect unintentionally.", Tang san nodded his head and was thinking about what it would be like to reach that realm.

Then Yu Xiaogang gave out the task they were meant to do, make a feast, but he gave Xiao Wu and Ray a different task, Xiao Wu was meant to spread the news of how each of them failed something to the others to make them lose concentration and he pulled Ray to the side to have a conversation with him, "How many elements can you control well right now?", "Well right now I can control water, fire, earth, wind, lightning, light, space and my weakest control is over the dark and time element.", Yu Xiaogang was thinking, 'Damn, Flender you really gained a treasure, to be able to control 9 elements at this age, he would be one of the centrepieces to the team, he's a rare all-rounder spirit master, hmm...he says that his weakest is the dark element and the rarest of them all time...dark could be put on the hold but time is far too rare to not hone in on', "Okay Ray the dark element doesn't need to be used for anything that involves main combat it's more for support in your case but the time element is rare and could be used for more things, for the rest of the months you will focus on trying to combine elements together and work on your time element."

ONE MONTH LATER

Ray increased his control over the elements with the supervision of Yu Xiaogang who was happy with his development, 'Haha, this brat is now able to other types of nature, he can now create sand, wood, lava, a magnetic pull and gravitation pull as well as creating synthetic metals! He's also improved his time element control, now being able to influence someone's regard to time, increasing how fast or slow it is as well as ageing objects(A/N: could already do that but Yu Xiaogang doesn't know)', he then called Ray over, "Ray, you can stop now! You can go ahead and help the others in the banquet making!", Ray came over and nodded his head, he ran towards the others and got there in seconds as he used the lightning and time element to speed over there(teleporting is draining), Yu Xiaogang watched him leave and was thinking, 'He really is a monster...'

Ray helped with the speed of the heating of the food as he could use his new control over the time element to influence how fast the food cooked.

Soon they were done with time to spare, the teachers approved of the food and told them they could join in.

Later Yu Xiaogang called them all up and asked who they thought was the strongest out of all of them, they all pointed to Ray, "Okay Ray stand next to me.", Ray agreed and stood next to Yu Xiaogang and then asked Tang san and Mubai to fight, Tang san won by using his new spirit skill that was a web of blue silver grass. Eventually, Yu Xiaogang got all the rest of them to fight one another apart from Ray, "Teacher Yu how come I'm not sparring with everyone else?". "That's because you're the strongest here, and from my understanding, you could restrain everyone here and beat them you possess double martial souls which are both beasts types, one being able to use in a physical battle up close, the other can be used from a distance, you control everything around you almost like a domain so you have a high chance of beating everyone here whilst they are suppressed and can't cause major harm to each other, but if they could then your chance of winning is lessened."

Yu Xiaogang eventually got annoyed as he realised that they don't have good teamwork and told Ray to finally join and beat them, he won...

Yu Xiaogang watched Ray use his first spirit ring from his dragon claw spirit for the first time and was dumbstruck, 'What the f.u.c.k, he has 3, 1000+ old rings!!!?', he watched summon golden lightning chains and wrapped it around all seven of them and throw them to the ground which numbed them, then he used the lightning to stun them, he sneak attacked them as Yu Xiaogang didn't tell them Ray joined the fight which further gave Yu Xiaogang the confirmation that they weren't being serious throughout the fight or paying attention properly.

Once the fight was over, Yo Xiaogang called Ray over, "Ray, how did you survive to have your first ring at the 1000 year?!", Ray was bewildered because of Yu Xiaogang awed face, "U-um I figured out you don't have to follow the level difference.", "Yeah, but how?!", "Oh, first you need to have strong enough mental strength and your body needs to be strong enough to withstand it.", "Explain mental strength?", Ray explained this phenomenon to Yu Xiaogang who wrote this down and was thankful to Ray for sharing this.

NEXT DAY

Yu Xiaogang got everyone to go on the 'Devil's Road', "Hey, Ray do you want to fo on the devil's road as well, you don't need to, but you can.", "Hm? Yea, sure, we're a team so I gotta.", Yu Xiaogang nodded his head and gave him the weights that he had to carry.

Ray was walking the way with the rest of them and then they began discussing why they had to really do this, they figured they had to work on their teamwork, they exchanged their weights between them, Ray holding 30kg taking some of the weights from everyone else, "Hey Ray are you okay?", Oscar asked, "Yup, isn't really a lot for me.", Ray was talking the truth, his body could handle this weight one hundred times and still not sweat.

As they got closer, Oscar and Rongrong fainted, Ray picked up Oscar and Mubai picked up Rongrong, Ray took half of Mubai's weights which still was nothing to him and eventually they got there, the seven of them fell to the floor and still fainted, Ray just stood their with Yu Xiaogang looking at him, "You really do have a strong body...", "Yup."

Yu Xiaogang told Ray to pick the boys up and send them into the medicine baths...

Tang san woke up seeing himself in a medicine bath and hearing Fatty Hong reply to him about how this wasn't Flender's idea as he's a cheapskate and then he saw Mubai and Oscar, plotting something, Fatty Hong went up to them and asked them what they are doing, then they all smiled, looked at Tang san who asked them what they are peeking at, "Hehe, nothing. Fatty just wants to eat, go take a rest we'll be back soon.", said Oscar, Mubai said quickly whilst running out, "Quick, quick, before Tang san figures it out!"

RESTING ROOM

Yu Xiaogang and Flender were talking about the fees and how he was gonna make money when the wall broke and Zhu Zhu Qing came in with an unconscious fatty Hong, Oscar and Mubai, Flender screamed about the debt and then they heard someone shout, "OI! someone is trying to sleep here! Flender here's 500 gold shut the f.u.c.k up!", this was, of course, Ray who was lying on the sofa in the corner, he threw a bag of gold at Flender who caught it and said no more, and Yu Xiaogang who said, "Wait...how long have you been there?!", "Ever since we got here...", "Okay...you can continue resting for a bit then.", Ray nodded his head and went back to sleep quickly and then Flender said, "Where does this kid get all his money?", "Mubai was on the floor and said weakly, "He's the only of the 'Roaring Silver Trading company...", Flender and Yu Xiaogang give Mubai a look and then looked at each other, then Flender said, "Isn't that one of the quickest upstart businesses in our continent, he practically owns 35% of all business in our continent?!!", then Yu Xiaogang said, "And he owns it...he's not even 20 and he's one of the ric.h.e.s.t people and most powerful businesses in our continent as well as being from that clan...he's practically untouchable... no wonder he can throw money at you like its nothing..."

Later that day everyone gathered and then Yu Xiaogang told them why they gathered, about how they are going to be in the underground tournament and how this is meant to help them reach the required badge, "Right now, according to the records, most of you are at the iron level, with the exception of Oscar being copper, Mubai being silver and Ray being...being, Flender you never showed me Ray's battle record, what is it?", "Hmm...im not sure either...but last time I asked him it was gold, but I think it was higher.", "Ray what is your badge right now?", Flender asked, "Hm? Right now it's violet gold.", Flender and Yu Xiaogang just sighed and then laughed, "Your really make me proud haha...", then Ray said, "Well it would've been higher but then it came out that they couldn't because I have too low of cultivation...sigh...", then Flender asked, "What's it supposed to be then?", Yu Xiaogang then said, "What's your exact battle record?", "Oh, 505 wins and I'm undefeated.", "Okay, if they multiple for continuous wins, then it should be somewhere above 5000 points, so he would get a...ruby...badge...at least...", everyone just sighed and then Oscar muttered, "Why couldn't I go through a faze too..." and then fatty and Mubai nodded with him.

Then Yu Xiaogang continued explaining how the rules work and then he said, everyone, made their pairs, Ray said, "Imma go solo, because of my badge people who are in the spirit ancestor rank are my opponents and theirs a sometimes a chance of fighting a spirit king...", Yu Xiaogang agreed as they were looking to win and a two vs two against spirit kings wasn't why there were here.

After that Yu Xiaogang explained how Tang san can't use hidden weapons and how they have to keep their identities hidden, "You can pick your two vs two team names but for individual names, I have already picked them", then Ray said, "Including mine?", "Yes, is there a problem?", "Maybe, I already have a nickname in the arena, so once they see my badge they are gonna know who I am.", "That indeed is a problem, what is your nickname in the arena?", Ray smiled at this and said, "Myriad Destruction Dragon.", "What kinda coincidence is this, that's what I chose!", "Your joking?!", "No, no, no, that's really what I chose!", "Haha, damn, ok I guess we don't have a problem then."

The first fight was Mubai and Oscar against Wu Qing who had a frog type spirit and Si Nai Er a snail type spirit, Oscar got captured by Wu Qing, Ray was thinking, 'I should've really given Oscar a movement or defence technique from the shop, maybe I will get him one later...', Mubai pulled the ballsy move of saying he would beat them within 3 moves, but not if you went under Yu Xiaogang's training, he used his new ability [Unique Divine Power] even though they tried being underhanded he still beat them by creating a sword out of his spirit energy.

TWO DAYS LATER

During these two days, Xiao Wu beat up a pervert and broke all his bones... and had a two vs two with a woman that had a cat spirit and a man with a mice spirit, they won whilst holding back, Tang san could only use his mysterious heaven skills and Xiao Wu her self made spirit skills; Yu Xiaogang had to get them to hold back as they were being watched by their future opponents the 'Savage Combat Team'.

Later that day within the resting place of the spirit colosseum, Mubai got angry that someone was trying to hit on Zhu Zhu Qing, so he went into a contest of strength but before he could Ray showed up and restrained the guy with the wind element for a few seconds and Mubai punched him the stomach, then someone shouted whilst coming out of the door, "Stop! This is the resting area, fighting is not permitted!", Mubai asked, "I'm the manager, the person in charge of this place, and I will tell you that you will be fighting each other tomorrow in the spirit colosseum!", "Punk you got lucky! I'll see you tomorrow on the stage!", the man walked off and then Ray walked up to the manager and said, "Yo, manager it's been a while!", the manager looked at Ray whilst he wore his mask and was thinking, 'Do I know this brat?', Ray realised this and said, "Oh come on, you can't realise who I am? How about if I show you this?", Ray showed his violet gold badge which made the manager's eyes contract as he grabbed the coin and read who owned it and thought, 'IT'S HIM!!', and then he said, "Oh, I didn't realise it was you, my boy, haha, it seems your in this group, 'Shrek's Eight Monsters' is it?, I hope to see an amazing match tomorrow, Myriad Destruction Dragon.", and the manager walked off.

NEXT DAY

The announcer the match said, "Welcome to Soutuo City's Spirit Colosseum! I'll be your host for today's most exciting and popular kind of match the eight members team fight will now start!!!", people started to cheer because of the excitement and then the announcer started to explain the rules, "The team matches have three main rules: If the team surrenders, they lose! If the team loses all fighting power, they lose! If the whole team gets out of the stage, they lose!", he then began to introduce the teams, "The supreme team, Savage Combat team vs Shrek's Eight Monsters, even though they started a few days ago, their individual achievements are amazing, the king of rookies!"

They began to fight, Mubai was fighting the man from yesterday who had a rhino spirit, Rongrong gave him a boost and the other team tried to the same but Ray knew what they were gonna do so teleported towards the support master and punched him in the stomach and then used his claws and threw him out of bounds, Mubai was given the boost and won the first confrontation, then Ray used his new time tricks and slowed down the man with the rhino spirit so he thought Mubai was really fast and then the Rhino was near out of bounds, Mubai used his spirit skill to boost himself and punched him out of bounds. Then Ray used the same trick on the rest of the enemy team and started to teleport to his teammates who needed any help and helped them defeat the other team, Rongrong kept on giving everyone boosts and then the enemy team had someone who got angry, a woman with long white hair who had a spider type spirit, tang san said, "Ray teleport towards her and freeze her, then kick her out!", Ray nodded his head and teleported above her punched her in the face, quickly froze her and threw her out of bounds, 'There one of the more troublesome ones have been dealt with!', everyone energy was running a bit low so Oscar came in a gave some tofu, to everyone, and then all that was left was a pair of twins or were dealt with quickly by Xiao Wu.

They won, the announcer said, "Shrek's Eight Monsters have won, a quick victory, especially when they have the Myriad Destruction Dragon!", the other team were shocked, the knew about the young legend who could beat spirit ancestors and spirit kings like it was light work, famous for never losing a fight to this day! The woman on the enemy team said, "No wonder we lost, they had that monster on their team...how did we miss this...", the many of the audience were bewildered as they knew of the person the announcer spoke of and cheered even louder some in the audience were annoyed and said, "Damn how did I miss this, if I knew he was in their team I would've better all I had!!!", "That's the Myriad Destruction Dragon, you mean the one who has 3 full 1000+ year old rings the heaven-defying monster?!!"

Zhu Zhu Qing: one vs one: 23 wins 4 loss, two vs two: 20 wins 0 losses

Tang san: one vs one: 27 wins 0 losses, two vs two: 27 wins 0 losses

Xiao Wu: one vs one: 24 wins 3 losses, two vs two 27 wins 0 losses

Ray Yin: one vs one: 30 wins 0 losses, two vs two 30 wins, 0 losses

They all got drunk, Ray and Rongrong were the last to stay awake so they had to carry everyone home, Ray was thinking, 'Hm...it's not that, I really thought it would taste much worse and damn, they are all weak shits!'
