A Journey Through...

As the four new additions to Shrek went out along with Xiao Wu, Tang san, Dai Mubai and fatty Hong, the nobles of the other team from the second team of the royal dou imperial academy started to try and belittle them calling them country bumkins, the only good side to this is that they couldn't say anything about what they were wearing, along with that they were beaten within less than a minute, no need to mention the fight as it was that one-sided.

After the fight Tang san and Ray were called up to Yu Xiaogang's office, they opened the door and saw their teacher in one chair with Rongrong's dad, Ning Feng Zhi, but there was a new face, a boy at the beginning of his a.d.u.l.t years, with a handsome face, blue eyes, and platinum blonde hair, this was, of course, the prince Xue Qing of the heaven dou empire.

They began the meeting with the obvious pleasantries, "Your performance during the first match was marvellous. I was really shocked at seeing how your spirit abilities have grown.", this was directed towards Tang san, "Also it's a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you again the young owner of the 'Roaring Silver Trading company', Ray.", "Same to you clan leader, Mr.Ning", then the prince came over and then he was introduced by Ning Feng Zhi, "It's an honour to meet the prince!", Tang san cupped his fist and was going to give a little bow with his head but the prince stopped him and said, "The son of the clear sky Douluo really gives off a different kind of aura.", "I told his majesty about it.", "Don't worry I'll protect your secret and Ray, you still haven't gone to meet father yet, you didn't hear this from me but he's been really anxious to meet you!", "Well uh, maybe I'll meet him when my team wins the tournament!", the prince nodded his head and continued his conversation about the lower four clans and how spirit hall is gaining in on getting the four lower clans into submission.

Then the prince carried on his speech about spirit hall are getting stronger every day and if Tang san and Ray join his side then he will increase his chances of becoming a title Douluo, "Hmph, so your planning on getting three title Douluo's at a time? Great plan. Pity, it would never work.", retorted Tang san and then he continued talking as the prince looked intrigued in what he was going to say, "Putting the fact aside that I might not become a title Douluo, I lost contact with my father for many years now, I'm afraid you might not even get as many title douluo's as you may hope. Why are you so confident?", the prince then began to talk about Tang san's mother but he wasn't really shocked as he had a conversation about this with Ray before and then he continued his conversation and the spirit bone of 1,000,000 years old and how spirit hall was the reason for the death of his mother which made Tang san anger rise up but then Tang san heard a voice in his head, 'Xiao san, how many times do I have to tell you she's not dead, just insanely weakened...jeez...', Tang san's anger slowly subsided at Ray's message and then he kept listening to the prince, "Come with me, heaven dou would surely lend you a hand in your path for revenge!", Tang san stayed quiet before saying, "Please let me think this over your majesty. The consequences may vary for the actions I take.", "The time is ticking, spirit hall is getting closer as we speak, why would you...", "Qing He give Tang san some time.", "Sigh...fine. This is my emblem is represents my power, you can look for me anytime using this emblem.", "Then what about you Ray, are you the same as Tang san.", "For now, yes.", "I see...that's all I had to say, I shall take my leave now."

After the other parties left it was just Yu Xiaogang, Tang san and Ray in the room, "You two better think twice. Trouble will come to find you once you are associated with the imperial family,", "Yes, we understand that.", they both said in unison, "The most important thing now is to gain power, this is the key to revenge, the 60,000-year-old spirit bone is really suitable for you, you have to take it! And when the time comes you can beat spirit hall with the power they gave you!", this was directed towards Tang san, "Oh and Ray because of your spirit essences either is fine.", they both nodded their heads and then Flender came in talking about how they are gonna be rich but then Tang san gave a serious face and sad, "Principle, I'm not going!", Flender could feel the change in the air and then he got filled in on what's happening.

Flender sent a letter and wept at the thought of not getting money and Ray took pity on him and thought, 'Well I'll just think of it as they tuition money I never paid.', and then got a 1000 gold out of his system storage and put it in a money bag to give to Flender who stopped crying as much and went to his room.

NEXT DAY

Yu Xiaogang was putting on a bit of a serious face and said, "Our next fight is against elephant armoured academy.", "You mean the academy with the strongest defence?", Rongrong asked, "Yes, the elephant armoured academy is one of the elemental academies and is known for its very strong defence.", 'Hmph! If we're talking about elements then they are nothing really that much of a mention, I can probably one-shot them even if they are using their highest defence.', this was what Ray was thinking, he wasn't being arrogant as he knew his strength quite well, he could kill spirit saints and severely injure spirit Douluo's maybe even killing them but Title Douluo's are a different matter if he could be quick enough he could severely injure them and make them run away but not kill them...well that was in the past now that he got his new spirit ring everything changes...

Yu Xiaogang told them who was in the match and what to watch out for and then it was time for the match.

Everyone came out and Fatty met with the young master of the elephant armoured clan, but soon they started to fight, the opponents got into their formation but were ensnared in the trap Tang san created, they were quickly covered in poisonous grass which they soon broke but that was just to give Tang san more time to spread the grass everywhere which gave Shrek the openings to attack and they sent five of the opponents of the ring, then they burned the grass with the help of Ma Hong Jun flames creating poisonous fumes but then they started to see the flames die out and a hand made out of earth come out of nowhere.

He opponent used an absorption skill and stopped the flames, an earth giant appeared and started to attack everyone, but the difference was that it wasn't as strong as the one from the original as it only had the power absorbed from two other spirit masters so the might of the earth giant was only barely touching the ending ranks of a spirit king rather than it being a spirit saint.

Tang san got Zhu Zhu Qing to attack it at every pressure point and she did it using her doppelganger ability and actually attacked at every point this time as the giant wasn't as big as the original and by no means strong as well, it was almost defeated but then it used its skull bone ability and strengthened its control over its body making it do sharper movements but it was a futile attempt as it was still quickly beaten with the final attacks of everyone on the team and the support the healing staff, the giant crumbled to the ground and was defeated.

Tang san thought, 'Fhew...thanks to Ray's earlier warning we managed to defeat it, god only knows what might've happened if we let him fuse with more than two people, thanks for the warning Ray.'

FLASHBACK

Tang san was about to enter the arena when he felt a hand on his shoulder, it was Ray, "What's up?", "Word of advice for these guys get as many as you can as quickly as possible and if you can't do that then separate them just don't let them get close to their leader.", "Uh, why?", "You'll know when you see it...", then he watched Ray go up the stands and watch his match begin.

FLASHFORWARD NEXT DAY

Tang san was walking through the street and suddenly felt the area around him change, "Hehehe...surprisingly you're able to see through my second spirit ability, as expected I did not pick the wrong person, you deserve to die under my fighting spirit essence, cruel dream first then I'm going after that other more troublesome brat!", "You want to kill me? For the sake of winning the tournament?!, "Hoho, you're not only strong but intelligent as well and because of those same things, you need to be eliminated to not stop my way to victory!" , Shi Nian was the one who attacked Tang san and now has began to put him in an illusion.

Ray was walking along when he felt a disturbance with his surroundings he walked forward and hid in the darkness, he saw Tang san around the corner being covered in a green mist and taken away, Ray followed the green aura but kept his distance as he realised who this was, it was Shi Nian trying to kill Tang san but what troubled Ray was that he thought that Shi Nian would come after him first but as he was listening to their conversation he heard him say that Ray is the more troublesome, Ray waited for an opening and when Tang san was s.u.c.k.e.d up into his illusion he ran behind Shi Nian and summoned his dragon claw forward and aimed for his neck, he used his [Elemental Electro Fang] but didn't release it and instead kept it in his claw and in the last second teleported right above the nerve in the neck and ripped it open and released the ability that further ripped him up from the insides and then burned him inside out and then used his [Golden Rampage] for good measures shredding up his upper bdoy further.

Tang san woke up a few moments after as the illusion greatly started to weaken enough to break, Tang san looked behind him and saw blood on the grass, he looked up and saw Shi Nian dead with his neck and upper body mangled and torched as if he was ravaged by a chaotic beast but then he saw the body of someone else, standing to look at the dead body with a bloody claws in both his hands, this was Ray who's complexion went pale as he kept looking at the dead body, Tang san saw how pale he was and thought, 'Oh...this is the first time he's killed...', Ray kept looking at the dead body and thought, 'Shit...this is the first time I've killed...I feel a bit sick not enough to puke funnily enough I wonder why?...hey [Ridley] is this your doing?', 'Yes as the system gives you a certain tolerance to mental traumas such as this, think of it as a downgraded version of the gamer's mind.', 'Oh, good to know.'. Ray looked into the sky and breathed in and our for a few moments before saying, "Hey Xiao san, let's go.", Ray searched the body of the dead and there it was the 10,000-year-old gem type spirit bone, "What's that?", "A spirit bone, let's go, we need to find the teachers and hide it, but first I need to get rid of any evidence.", Ray used his earth control and dug the body deep into the earth where nobody will find it.

Later that day Ray and Tang san went to find Yu Xiaogang and Flender, they were deeply shocked by this and Yu Xiaogang decided that we let anyone use it yet but Ray interjected, "Shi Nian's people are going to want it back if they know we have it better to keep it hidden for now and use when the tournament ends and we win!", Yu Xiaogang thought about it and agreed.
