A Journey Through...

A few days had gone by since Ray's mock battle Jian and Hong and he was at his grandparent's home, "You know a lot of the other clan elders freaked out when they found out that you returned without notice, you should've seen their faces haha.", said his grandfather, "Hehe...what else did they say gramps?", "Well first they wanted to know how strong you right know but I didn't say anything and just told them that they just had to wait instead and as well as what you've been doing in the outside world, really they were just annoyed that they weren't told that you returned so if you find a bunch of elders welcome you back at some point during the end of the week just go with it.", "Uh, ok, anyway gramps imma head out with Jian and Hong to the forest to get their new rings.", "Oh? Ok, but I think you should wait till you reach rank 70 as well so you don't need to go back.", "Nah, I close, I can feel it, I'll probably reach it during the trip there.", and then he started to talk about a few other things and then started to talk to his grandma who was cooking, after a while, Ray left and went home and as soon he walked in he felt someone small waiting for him from the other side of the door, he opened the door and then saw something pounce on him, "Welcome back brother!", Ray caught her in his arms and lifted her up and then put her down and rubbed her on the head and then said, "How long have you been waiting there?", "Not long!", "Sigh...here you go.", Ray summoned something out from his storage, it was some sweets that he gave to his sister and then her eyes shined up and grabbed them and scooted off with her voice fading into the background with, "Thank you!"

Ray went into his room and began to talk to [Ridley], 'Hey [Ridley] what's the probability that I will break through rank 70 today?', '...it's below 40% today as you have broken through the previous thresholds with relative ease as they aren't the most important, as you may know, rank 70 is the most important as the ring you need for it is known as the 'titled ring' and for you specifically would need an especially powerful ring', 'Wait, then I can't get one from the forest then? How old will the ring have to be then?', 'At minimum...the age has to be 250,000 years old!', '...W-wha-what?!?! Tang san only has to absorb a 100,000-year-old ring but I have to have an older one than that?! F.U.C.K!', 'Anyway once get the ring you will begin to feel a change in your bones.', 'Wait, I'll stop you right there, I know all this, my bones will begin to age just like a spirit beast and I will get spirit bones.', 'Yes but it's better if you get the bones of a spirit beasts as it will cover you an original bone and the pair will strengthen together.', 'Oh...I see now, guess I'm going to have to hold out on getting my seventh ring for a while...sigh...wait, from my memory I'm pretty sure the first six rings are the nourishment for the bones as well...and I've been ageing them, so does that mean I've been given them a lot of nourishment?', 'Allow me to answer with a yes.', Ray nodded his head towards his and then thought, 'Well...I guess it's time to age all my rings into 100,000 years...'

Ray sat down on his floor and crossed his legs and hen covered his room in a barrier that hides what he's doing, 'Okay let's start from the newest first.', Ray summoned up all his rings from his 'silver dragon eyes', 5 black rings with the aura of taking all the light around him were around him, his hands had a strange green light around them, he grabbed his fifth ring and started to begin the ageing process.

The ring was beginning to give off a heavier aura as time went off, Ray began to feel like he was breaking barriers as the ring was ageing, soon enough though he reached 99,999 years old and the feeling of a lock was beginning to feel eminent but he kept persisting on, the feeling grew less and less like he was picking the lock to open it but as he kept slowly breaking through, he was getting a heavier and heavier pressure from the lock and as he was on what seemed like the final lock, he felt what felt like he was being pushed back but then he decided to put more energy into the ageing and then went onwards, the pushing feeling faded and then he broke through the lock, the foggy blackness of the ring slowly faded and the ring was slowly changing, a reddish aura began to swirl around the ring and soon enough the aura changed into a crimson red fire covered with a tyrannic feeling engulfing his surroundings, above Ray was now four black rings and a destructive red ring, he smiled and thought whilst looking at this, 'Phew! It was successful! The feeling like I was breaking through something came back but that's normal when ageing a ring and strengthening it into something new, you can't expect to do it like this and not expect the world to stop you from doing this but it's not like it's against the law of this world so that's all I get anyway's the energy it took it to get through the final jump to 100,000 years was huge! Almost 4/5 of my reserves are gone...sigh...to age them all is gonna take a while...eh? Why do I feel...wet?', Ray looked down to where he was sitting and saw a puddle of sweat and thought, 'Wtf! Seriously?! I could sweat that much? Damn!', Ray froze the puddle of sweat and evaporated it into nothing with the click of his finger, he got rid of the barrier and then decided to have a bath.

After he finished his bath it was soon enough time for dinner, 'Ooh! Something smells good!', Ray sat down next to his sister, "Hello big brother!", "Hey!", and patted her head and then his mom and dad came in setting down their food and they began to eat, "Smells good mom!", "Yeah! Just as I would expect from the woman I married.", they then began to eat and soon enough Ray cleared through ten plates and his sister looked at him and thought with a turned head, 'Is it normal for boys to eat that much?', she kept eating and every now and again looking at how much Ray was eating, he was now on his twenty-fifth plate and then looked at her father and saw that he had only gotten on his eighth plate and then she was even more confused, Ray had soon enough gotten onto his thirty-fifth and stopped with a satisfied smile and then said, "Thanks for the food mom.", and went to go clean his plates, his father left afterwards and then it was just Ray's mom and sister who asked, "Mommy is it normal for boys to eat as much as big brother?", her mother looked at her adorable cute face and gave a wry smile and said, "Uh, for some yes but in your brother's case it might be because he has a two dragon soul essences and has to eat to more powerful he gets.", "Uh, so big brother is powerful?", "Uh, for his age, very.", his sister had stars in her eyes and hugged her mother and they began to wash the rest of the plates and etc.

A WEEK LATER

Ray had officially changed all his rings to that of 100,000 years old, 'Fuu, finally done! Now I can go get Jian and Hong to get them each a new ring but I still haven't broken through rank 70!!', Ray sighed as he went towards were Jian and Hong's training area, he soon saw them near talking near a bunch of trees, "Hey you two! Get ready we're going in a few hours!", "Huh? Oh, it's you Ray...wait...did you just say we're going now?!", "Yes! Now get ready the pair of you!", "Yes!", the ran off to get the things they needed and came back an hour later.

They reached the gates and Ray nodded to the guard on patrol to let them go through and they nodded back and whistled to the others to open up the gate, the trio had now begun their trip.

ONE DAY LATER

The trio arrived at the forest and began to look for suitable rings for themselves, 'Okay let's begin!', Ray used his 'silver dragon eyes' to see further ahead with the elemental particles being closer to spirit beasts who have a closer affinity towards them, "Okay, it seems we're going to have to go further in guys, let's go!", they nodded their heads towards and begun to walk deeper into the forest but so far the only thing they've met are those of the 1,000-year-old aged beasts, "Sigh...looks like we gotta go further up into the forest...", they kept going further into the forest and soon they had been there for half a day and all they found so far are peak tier 1,000-year-old beasts, 'Hmm...we're getting closer and closer to the higher aged beasts...', is what Ray was thinking about the trip so far and soon enough they found their first 10,000-year-old beast but unfortunately it wasn't one that fit for either of them, 'Just our luck!', so they sneaked past it as it was resting and carried on, as they got deeper in they began to find more and more 10,000-year-old beasts but it took them almost a whole day and Ray found a tree that he could hallow out for them to stay in, for the time being, he touched the tree and began manipulating the earth to dig the insides of the tree out and soon enough it made space for them to stay in, eat and rest.

NEXT DAY

They woke up and got out of the tree and Ray handed out something to eat and they again began their trip through the forest for new rings and soon enough they found a spirit beast that would fit just fine with Jian, a 'Fire Serpent' of 11,225 years old, 'F.u.c.k! Finally a good one!', "Okay, Jian this is the one for you!", "W-what! S-seriously this one?!", "Yes! Now I will weaken the shit out if it, only for you to do the final blow!", Ray went into action and teleported behind the serpent's tail and crushed it with a dragon claw, he then used his [Mineral Manipulation] and covered it in earth and all sorts of metal ores and hardened rocks, he then froze the rest of the body, the serpent began to shoot flames from its mouth and tried to sliver out of Ray's hold on it but then Ray controlled the hold on it to strengthen the more it tried to resist and then told Jian to kill it as quickly as possible, Jian chopped off its head with all his might and the head of the serpent touched the ground and scorched it before the flames on it began to die out and a black ring appeared above it, Jian sat down and the ring went above him and he awoke a few hours later with sweat on his body, "You can rest now and in an hour we can go for Hong's ring but can you tell us what ability you got?", "You're just gonna have to wait for me to show you the next time we fight.", Jian said with a happy grin on his face.

After an hour passed up the trio then began their trip through the forest for Hong's ring and they found a magma lizard of 11,500 years old, "Oh? Hong this one is for you.", Ray looked at the size of the lizard and thought, "What's up with that tail, it's literally burning everything to earth around it but it is a good spirit beast for Hong as it has earth element traits.', Ray teleported the beast in the air with himself and summoned up his claw and used [Golden Rampage] on it and ravaged its body with golden cuts all over its body, the blood was practically making a river at the speed and amount that was coming out of it and Ray then teleported himself down and watched the beast fall to the ground and before it could make its last breaths he had Hong end its misery then he began to absorb it, it took him a few hours and a bit longer than Jian to absorb the ring and then they rested for another hour but before they could get up to leave Ray sensed something and thought, 'No. Way!', what he sensed was a spirit beast making its way towards them in anger, destroying the trees around them, it was a 100,000-year-old beast, "Guys run ahead, I'll handle this thing, you know the way out, wait for me at the exit!", "No! We can't just leave you! We'll fight it together!!", "Yeah, bro! Let's do it!", "...Not for this one! Wait for me, this is gonna take a while!", they had no choice as Ray then released his suppressed aura and ran to the spirit beast coming their way.

Ray charged forward and what he saw in front of him made his mind freeze as what he saw looked too familiar and shouldn't exist in this world, 'It-it's the L-LEGENDARY RED EYES BLACK DRAGON?!?!?! WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THIS?!?! THIS ISN'T F.U.C.KIN' YU-GI-OH!!! PAUSE IT, PAUSE THIS SHIT!!', yes...what Ray looked at was the legendary red eyes...

He looked at it as it rampaged towards him with cataclysmic jet black and blood red scales, roaring with a cold light in its eyes, "HOLY SHIT! THIS THINGS MINE!", Ray looked at it and thought, 'If only Joey could see this thing! How the f.u.c.k does it exist?! [Ridley] have you got an answer for me?!, '...no...', 'Well I'll be damned...', Ray went towards the dragon and said, "Red eyes! You shall be mine!!!", red eyes looked at Ray and said, "Haha! So it was you, human, who woke me from my slumber! You dare to face me?! But I accept your challenge!", the dragon covered itself in pitch black flames as if it was armour and began to attack Ray, 'Wait...these flames?! They actually feel hot!!! Haha, let's see what this thing can do!', Ray used [Ice Barrage] but the ice shaped fists and legs were melted on contact with the flames, 'HAHA!', Ray finally thought he could find something he could go all out on and used all his offensive abilities in this fight...

He teleported above the red eyes and began to use multiple abilities from [Wind Flicker], [Mental Breakdown], [Earth Armour], [Golden Rampage], [Dread Roar], and then all his domain abilities, but the red-eye wasn't any weaker and began to use various abilities of its own from breathing fire around Ray, covering the land they are around in flames and then changing into it's human form and trying to attack like that, in its human form it had raven black hair with red edges, blood red eyes and as if it was in it's mid 20's, it had black and red scales on it and began to shoot beams of black energy at Ray who used [Rebound] on it but the red eye was too quick for it land and Ray then began to chase after it and then summoned up his claws and the contrast between them was immense one with dark abyssal hair and red eyes full of blood l.u.s.t and destruction and the other with snow-white hair with purple edges and purple eyes full of battle intent and life.

They began to go through close combat and began to fight like true dragons with their claws in hand, "Haha! I haven't had this much fun in years human, I will give you a quick death in your honour human!", "Yeah right! I say the same when I kill you too!", and then they smiled and continued their fight and they were in a standstill, 'I guess I'm going to have to use this ability for the first time!', and then Ray was enshrouded in a blue and red hood covering everything but his eyes and the same with ronin looking armour, he had used the[Yin Yang Dragon Descent Transfromation] and by the end of it had wings on his back, "Hm?! Interesting human! Let's carry this into the skies!", Ray and the red eye's had both grew wings and began their fight in the skies, Ray had now begun to push the red eye's back and he could hear the crunching sound as its bones were cracking and it's groaning in pain, Ray then smirked and put all his strength into a punch and an ominous trigram appeared as he used all his elemental skills into this punch, he teleported around the red eye's as he charged up the attack, the feeling the darkly looking trigram gave off kept increasing more and more and then Ray teleported in front of the red eye's and landed his final blow into the dragon's c.h.e.s.t, everything around froze and the world around him went grey as the punch didn't stop and the trigram carried on and didn't fade, the spirit energy around Ray caused an effect he didn't foresee and the destroyed five mountains in the distance but the attack still didn't end and carried on into the sky, Ray enhanced his vision and saw that the attack was in space...

It eventually went out of Ray's scope of vision but he could still feel it, the attack went on and on and without Ray knowing it destroyed three distant planets out of his solar system and then he felt it end but the area around him was still dyed in grey as if time stopped, it was ominous, it was dangerous but most importantly Ray was out of spirit power and was weak as f.u.c.k!

He was barely standing and then felt as if the world was trying to fix itself, the grey dye was beginning to disappear and then he got a system message, [Warning: the Previous attack should never be used again unless you are about to die, it is too destructive and was nearly about to destroy this planet, God has fixed this before it went further and has also strengthened what this world can take so that an attack like this will not destroy the planet; on a lighter note you have broken through to rank 70!], [Ridley] had a sudden voice change from neutral friendly to panicking anger it made Ray sweat and that was bad as the only thing keeping him standing are his immense strength and his duskfang longsword, yes Ray had been fighting the red eye's till it turned dark.

Ray ate a pill and began to feel its effects of restoring his spirit energy and soon began to walk towards the remains of the red-eye dragon, he found a crown, two claws and nothing else of its remains but when he looked above that he saw a weirdly coloured ring wrapped in dark red, grey and gold, Ray looked at it and thought, 'No f.u.c.k.i.n.g way!!!! This thing is the rarest of the rare!!!', he sat down and began to absorb the ring but it was hard, way too hard, Ray had realised how old the red eyes was as he began to absorb the ring, the age of the dragon was 750,000 years old!!!

The ring resisted for four hours straight but Ray began to show off all his aura towards the ring and slowly began to suppress it, the ring was giving off many different types of auras from the deathly mist to a deep and unrepressed bloodl.u.s.t and forever going destruction, it was an enigma if you will, he eventually absorbed the ring and felt his body changing, everything about him changed from how strong he was, to how deep his reserves of spirit energy was and how he was beginning to look, it took Ray another four hours to fully integrate the ring and when he fully absorbed the ring he had another notification, 'Ray your bones are beginning their spirit bone process, in the next year if you haven't found a spirit bone set then your bones won't be as strong or have the extra abilities originally intended.', Ray sighed at this and then he heard a massive roar in his head, he looked in his spiritual consciousness which now looked like a paradise, he looked at what was making all the noise and it was the gathering of spirit beasts which now all took the forms of massive beasts that if seen by the world together would probably start a war.

The main one making all the noise is the two dragons he absorbed, the Yin Yang Heaven Descent Dragon and the legendary red eyes black dragon, they were both roaring at each other but then Ray went in front of them and said with all his might, "SHUT THE F.U.C.K UP!!! IF I HEAR ANOTHER F.U.C.K.I.N.G ROAR THEN I F.U.C.KIN' TRAP YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS FOREVER!!!", they all shut up as they knew that Ray was the one that could make them this strong even if it's without a body but it's way better than dying and trapping one's consciousness forever is worse than death.

Ray then nodded his head and then went back to what he was doing, he looked to the remains of the red eyes and saw his remains...they were the spirit bones of a 750,000-year-old spirit beast, if every nation in this world heard about this then the world would hunt after Ray and then whichever nation had this, a total blood bath with no winner.

Ray put them in his system storage with the rest of his things and then checked his current cultivation, he had now reached rank 73 spirit saint! The massive influx of energy made him powerful but then he had an overwhelming feeling of tiredness and was feeling groggy but he persisted on towards where his friends were waiting for him.

He reached his friends who saw the small cuts and bruises on Ray which made it seem that what he was against wasn't troublesome at all but if they really saw what he was against they would shit their pants till they lost all their weight!

Ray went up to them and said, "...Let's go...", Ray's voice sounded raspy and strange to the other two and they asked, "Yo bro are you okay?", "Yeah, yeah you sound weirder than usual.", "No, I'm fine just hurt my throat a bit, I just need something to drink and some rest, that's all(lie)", they nodded their heads to this but were still unconvinced.

Ray wanted to get home quickly and they soon reached the gates of the clan within half a day, Ray told the guards to open the gates and then he said his goodbyes to the other two and went home, he opened the door but everyone was asleep as it was still early and once he reached his room, he collapsed on his bed.
