A Journey Through...

The biggest ice scorpion who Ray identified as the emperor of ice lay onto the throne and then turned into her human form along with a few of the other ice jade scorpions but that only counted the ones at the table the rest remained stood up still in their scorpion forms, presumably they were either under the age of 100,000 or were but haven't gained the ability to change into their human form yet, they began talking beginning the conversation with the ice emperor, "So anything suspicious happen lately in our home of snow and ice?"

One of the ones at the table who looked a bit like a middle-aged man with dark green eyes and hair said, "My emperor, the only thing suspicious lately is a spirit signal went out and reached around here but we believe it to be just another frost beast on its way through here", "Hmmph! I also felt this and agree, if it was one of those humans then we would've known the minute it showed up but the amount of land that we imagine it went through should surpass what those humans are capable, they would at least need to be at the age of 30,000 years and only another beast or God can live that long...", "Indeed my emperor! You are quick to catch on as ever",

They talked on for a couple of hours like how they could feel that the 'humans' were going to have conflict amongst each other and other things, Ray watching, hidden in the depths of the shadows listened ever once in a while, 'Huh? Well would you look at that, even they could tell a conflict would soon happen even in a wasteland of frost like here, humans can't even survive, I mean how the hell can they even tell, there not even in the same god damn continent!... Sigh...whatever...Oh! They're leaving now!'

The spirit beasts except for the ice emperor left who waited and watched everyone leave with a bored expression with head leaning against her hand, soon enough everyone left with two guards outside the door, once the doors were finally closed the ice emperor breathed inwardly and the outwards as if she just went on a run and said, "Well their all gone, what to do now...", she closed her eyes and began to think for a moment but as she was doing this someone was emerging with their aura hidden and untrackable, his form looked as if he was black gas emerging from the cold earth beneath but soon enough it took an actual form, an outstandingly handsome man with softest white hair going towards the end of his neck and crystal purple glowing dragon-like eyes that both looked like they were mesmerizing but also dangerous, this was, of course, Ray.

The ice emperor soon enough opened her eyes and saw someone in front of her smiling, she saw his mesmerising face and blushed but then quickly thought, 'Wait...I don't recognise him...', she began to get alert but before she could shout out the white-haired man person disappeared before her eyes and put his hand over her mouth, she widened her eyes and thought, 'F-fast! No, wait, that was teleportation!'

Ray covered the ice emperor's mouth and said, "I would keep quiet if I was you, I'm not here to harm anyone but I will and trust me I wouldn't be hard to kill many of your kin, I just need information from you, I'll remove my hand if you nod your head to not shout, deal?"

The ice emperor looked into his eyes and felt a deep fear but as she listened to his voice she calmed down and nodded her head, she didn't know how she could feel fear from just looking into his eyes but if that's all it took then she knew that he could kill her and many of her kin as he said, "Good now tell me, where can I find the more dangerous beasts in this ice land, one's more powerful if not equal to yourself in age and power?"

The ice emperor looked at him and said clearly, "...There are many hidden beasts of immense power in this land, many hidden or in slumber, I-I can give you a few...", they talked for a bit before Ray got what he needed but when he was about to leave one of the servants came in and saw an unfamiliar person in the room, she couldn't tell what species he was because of the bloodlines in him masking his human side to the beasts but the servant knew that this was an intruder and shouted with her mental power, 'Guards!! Intruder!!',

The guards heard the cry of the servant from there emperor's room and ran in, at first it was two scorpions but then it quickly increased to twenty guards in seconds and rising, Ray smiled, "sigh...whatever...", he disappeared from the view of the beasts and reappeared above them, the ice emperor saw this and shouted, "W-wait stop!!!", but Ray was too quick and used his fire element, a chaotic silver flame went around the guards in a circle and made them bunch up together like a bunch of lambs to the slaughter but it quickly disappeared as they all fell unconscious with the strength of Ray's mental power and he disappeared without a visible trace of him.

The ice emperor was in shock, 'D-dangerous! He didn't even try... Beating twenty elite guards like that! I-I can't beat him...! At least he didn't kill any of them...', soon enough some of the stronger members of her kin came and asked for what happened and why she didn't try to stop him from leaving but when they found out she couldn't beat him they were left in awe especially when they realised that he beat the guards in seconds, beasts with the minimum of age of 10,000 years of age...'

Ray was teleporting to one of the few locations that the ice emperor gave to him, 'A tree huh...well that would be a first for me...I still don't have any plant beasts so this is new...', Ray kept teleporting and using mental strength to find the location of the plant beast until he felt it...

Whilst he was in this icy land he didn't really feel cold but as he got closer to his target he was in fact getting colder as he got nearer, 'Interesting...', he sped up and looked down to see a black and blue tree standing at 500 feet tall, 'Damn... this thing's way taller than any tree on earth...', he looked at the leaves to see a mix of blue ice leaves giving a deep blue hue but those weren't the dangerous ones...Ray could sense it, the real dangerous ones were the ones with black leaves, they gave off an icy death aura and resented deeply with yin...

Ray could feel the roots underground moving wriggling around and then he saw it move around, 'Hm? Oh...it must have felt my presence, haha...', "Hey tree! How about you join me?!", he didn't hear a reply for a while before the tree gave off a near-divine blue light and then replied, "W-what? G-go away!", Ray raised his brow and thought, 'The f.u.c.k?! This thing sounds like a little kid!', "Hey! Come on! It must be boring to be here all day come on~", "...Well...it is boring...", Ray smiled, "Yeah, yeah! I mean, I could take you on cool adventures and you could help me fight", Ray kept trying to persuade the tree, "...Hmm...are you strong?", "I would say so", "How strong", "Hmm...I could be the ice emperor easily!", "Oh...sister ice emperor huh...then...fight me and if you win then you get to have me as your ring but if I win then I get to absorb you!", "Sure!", Ray smiled and then began to fight the mystic looking tree.

The tree twisted itself around and the leaves on the tree turned into icy edges and as if they had a mind of its own began to release themselves from the tree and cover themselves around the tree like armour and then the blue hue around the tree intensified before turning into a blue beam from the sky and then in front of Ray a crystal blue-eyed boy with black hair with black ice armour around him and the symbol of a tree around it sending a chilling aura started using its abilities.

Ray's eyes gleamed and his fists turned into a white light before a white and silver pair of dragon claws appeared on his hands covering his wrists and stopped at his elbow, another pair of dragon-like armour also appeared on his legs going up to his knee-caps and then he began to fight with the tree, 'This thing heavily relies on its ice abilities so fire is the way to go but that black ice is going to be tricky to handle even with the silver flame... But that's what's gonna make this so much FUN!', Ray gave a savage grin.
