A Journey Through...

1 MONTH LATER

Ray has been staying in his room for the last month and trying to get a handle on his elemental manipulation, so far, it's going pretty good with the effort of both his spirits he can control and shape the elemental particles with minimal effort and the energy used is the same, but he realised it's getting too easy and he using both spirits, and its not like he can summon up both of them when he's being attacked, it would take too long, so he tried to do what he's been doing with the elements this whole with only summoning one and trying to get his control over the elements to the same perfection as before, his eyes let him see the unseen plane of all the elemental particles, he tried water creating balls of water around him, then shaping that into a ring around him, the shape was ever changing and he would change it into ice to do the same.

He practised this with the other elements, fire, earth, wind, light, darkness, lightning and space & time...but the element of space & time was a bit different as he could use it to teleport anywhere within 5000m and could slow down time or increase it within 1000m but it doesn't really affect anyone rank 30 and above because of the strength difference but it does give them slight dizziness from it which isn't so bad for now, all this means that he just had to increase his own rank within the next 2 and a half years.

Ray: 'My plan right now is to reach rank 30, get some experience of battling, and try and get acquainted with Tang-san but that's in the future...and have some kickass adventures hahaha..."

Also during this month, he had made some improvement with his spirit rings as he could some small talk with them now:

WITHIN RAY'S MENTAL SPACE

The shockwave flying serpent and mystic illusion wolf would be laying there and you would find the two spirit beasts, not in there original form, they looked smaller...almost...chibi like. A smaller serpent in grey and blue slivering around and flapping its wings with slight crackles of lightning coming off it and a little wolf cub covered in white and purple fur with a misty aura around it sitting there obediently with its nose facing the sky of the mind's space...

Ray looked at them and said, "So...how you guys doin' ?", both the beasts stopped whatever they were doing and looked at the person who spoke, the serpent was the first to speak right after, "hiss...oh it was you, young master, what do we...owe the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e of?" a male, slightly quiet voice with a bit of raspiness to it was heard, this, of course, was the voice of the serpent, the next to speak was the wolf, "AWOO!!! your back master, we are both doing good but you should visit more I've been lonely without you and the snake's no fun woo...", the wolf's voice was of a young girl's but which oddly fit for its size what was unnatural about it was its age, a 10,000+-year-old beast spoke like a god damn loli!!! Just imagine what it would look like when it finally reaches the right age to have a human form...my god...

Anyway, Ray nodded his head and walked to the spirit beasts, the patted the head of the wolf and gave a nod to the serpent again, after all the serpent had the bloodline of a dragon, even if it was minuscule when it wasn't a ring, but since it became our protagonist's spirit ring without any resistance at the end it was given a gift of its bloodline being upgraded to a higher purity, the same can be said with the wolf as well.

Ray named the snake Asmodeus after the biblical demon and named the wolf, Luna for more obvious reasons as she is a wolf and they are put together with the moon a lot...
