A New Life: Unwanted Marriage

As Aiguo laughed at the absurd situation Shijun's face darkened at the thought of Bolin and Anhao together , who gave Bolin the right to ask her out . Bolin noticed the cold stare directed at him and shivered out of instinct because he knew that Shijun was going to do something to him

' I should have kept it to myself ' he thought in his head meanwhile Anhao was looking for a way to change the topic or evade the situation she was currently facing .

" Go on with your story Bolin tell us how you met " Shijun said as he looked pointedly at Anhao . Anhao understood that look , it was a ' we'll talk about this privately ' look that Shijun gave her whenever he didn't know about something and found out about it from someone else.

Shijun was trying to get Bolin to talk about how he met Anhao but Bolin didn't want to say more .

" Lui Aiguo aren't you seeing the time ?! "

Bolin suddenly exclaimed

Aiguo was confused as he wondered what Bolin was talking about

" what happened to the time ? " he asked in a confused manner .

Bolin almost hit his head on the wall , didn't Aiguo understand that he was looking for a way out of the situation he was currently in .

" That stuff you were planning to do " Bolin said with clenched teeth as he looked at Aiguo hoping he would understand .

Aiguo smiled as he realized what Bolin was trying to do , he would obviously help him but he won't make it easy for him to get away

" which thing are you talking about ?" Aiguo asked as he tried to hold back the laughter that was threatening to burst out of his mouth " Can you remind me in detail , it seems like I've forgotten about it " Aiguo said with a confused smile .

Bolin understood what Aiguo was trying to do but he needed his help at the moment so it wasn't time to roast him alive but he swore to get his revenge on Aiguo.

" Since you've forgotten about it then I guess it wasn't important in the first place " Shijun said as interrupted Bolin who was about to speak .

" it is very important , it was about um .. um .." said Bolin as he tried to think of something to say so that shijun could get off his case and stop asking about how he met Anhao " it was about buying a new car " Bolin said after a minute of thinking .

Shijun narrowed his eyes at them , he could tell they were lieing but he didn't want to argue with them in front of Anhao .

" Lui Aiguo since when do you buy a car yourself , you usually send your Butler to do that for you " Shijun was indeed giving them one last opportunity to tell the truth before he took action .

Lui Aiguo smiled as he replied " I just want to check it out by myself this time "

Bolin hurriedly got up from his seat and began to walk towards the door " on that note we'll just be going " he said as he pulled Aiguo with him " nice to meet you Anhao " he said as he crossed the door , he knew that Shijun would get more upset but how could he pass up an opportunity to see the usually emotionless Yin Shijun express some emotion.

on getting outside Bolin ran to his car so he could out of there before Shijun decided to follow them but Shijun had turned his questions to Anhao , he had actually not forced his friends to stay because he didn't want Anhao to be present when Bolin was telling his story so they wouldn't use that opportunity to tell the same story on purpose , he was even thinking about hiring a private investigator to check what really happened between them . Anhao saw Shijun looking at her and immediately realized what he was about to do , she quickly ran upstairs and locked herself in an empty to so she could avoid Shijun .

Shijun followed her and knocked on the door severally but Anhao refused to open the door , he stood there for a few minutes before he decided to find the butler to get all the spare keys for the rooms .

when the knocking stopped and Anhao heard footsteps walking away from the door she couldn't help but feel sad because to her that meant he didn't care about her enough to try and open the door . she sat there for a few more minutes thinking about opening the door and ignoring him all day , Shijun had already returned with the keys and was trying desperately to open the door since he wasn't hearing a sound from the room . Anhao was so sad that she didn't even realize that someone was trying to open the door , she heard the door burst open and looked up only to see Shijun with a worried look on his face he didn't even wait for her to talk as he pulled her into a tight hug

" don't ever lock me out again " he whispered into her ear , his voice was so low that she almost didn't hear him but she was glad she did because she could pick out the relief and desperation in his tone and that was enough to assure her that he at least cared about her .
