A New Life: Unwanted Marriage

shijun woke up earlier than Anhao , he sat up on the bed as he wondered what he would do to Bolin as revenge , then he realized that it was a Friday and Bolin always went home to visit his parents on Fridays . Shijun flashed a devious smile as he picked up his phone and called Bolin's mother .

she picked up on the first ring immediately she saw it was Shijun who had called , the three boys had grown up together and their parents were even friends from childhood so it was obvious that Shijun was like a son to mama Wang.

" hello Mama Wang , it's Shijun"

Mama Wang smiled as soon as she heard Shijun's voice

" Shijun , how are you doing? "

" I'm fine , I just called to let you Know that I'll be married soon and I'm already engaged"

Mama Wang was surprised

" you are already engaged ?! , why didn't you tell me since , infact when did you get engaged , who is she ? " Mama Wang bombarded Shijun with questions but Shijun remained calm and answered all her questions happily . After he cut the call his evil smirk returned to his face , Shijun was satisfied with his plan because he didn't need to do anything else to enhance the situation Mama Wang would do it all on her own.

Shijun knew that Mama Wang was obsessed with getting Bolin a wife but she had been putting it off because Shijun was still single , when Aiguo had first gotten married Bolin was scared to go home because his parents wouldn't let him rest , they kept talking about how responsible Aiguo was and how beautiful his wife was and the moment Aiguo's wife became pregnant it became worse for Bolin , the only reason why his parents had not arranged a marriage for him was because Shijun was still single but now that Shijun was engaged Bolin's parents would surely force him to find a wife or find one for him themselves , Shijun was very happy with himself and the icing on the cake was that Bolin would not even know about it until he got home so there was no way out because he wouldn't be prepared for it .

Anhao woke up to see Shijun smiling to himself and she knew that look , it meant that he had done something mischievous .

" what are you so happy about ? " she asked with a yawn .

it was only then that Shijun realized that Anhao had woken up , he smiled at he as he replied " revenge " , his smile was so devious that Anhao felt a shiver go down her spine

" revenge for what and on who ? " she asked cautiously .

Shijun didn't answer but he just kept smiling , Anhao shook her head and got up to take a shower and dress up , she was going to Shijun's home with him the next day so she needed something to wear to the party that his mother had organised for them , after all it was her engagement party and she needed to look good .

she wore a simple outfit , just a pair of jeans and a cute pink top , picked up one of her purses with a nice sandal and walked out of the room happily , she walked down to the dinning room but she wasn't hungry so she just picked up a slice of bread and put some jam on it and walked out of the house , Shijun was outside waiting for her

" where are you going " he asked Anhao

" I'm going shopping , I need an outfit to wear to the party tomorrow " Anhao replied as she got into the car with him , Shijun looked at her with a confused expression on his face upon noticing his expression she sighed " just drop me at the mall , I don't want to drive today " she explained .

Shijun just shook his head and drove out of the estate heading to the mall so she could go shopping .

They drove silently for a while before Anhao's phone rang , she looked at it and saw that it was Scott , Anhao was surprised because she didn't expect him to talk to her so early she ignored the call because she was with Shijun and both men didn't get along with each other but Scott called again she still didn't have the intention of picking up until Shijun spoke up

" aren't you going to pick that call " from the tone he used Anhao understood that he wanted her to pick so he could find out who it was , she knew arguing with him would just make him more suspicious so she picked

" hello " she said softly , Shijun rose an eyebrow at how gentle she sounded , he was already getting agitated as he wondered who she talking to that made her so calm

" hello Kyra , why weren't you picking my calls , you scared me " Scott nearly screamed , he was so worried

Anhao laughed at him outwardly , Shijun was once again perplexed , ' who was she talking to that made her laugh so much ' he wondered in his mind but still remained quiet and calm

" Scott you are really funny , what could happen to me " Anhao replied playfully she didn't realize how gloomy Shijun's face was and how angry he was beginning to get until the car came to a sudden halt , Anhao jerked forward but still managed not to hit her head on anything but her phone had fallen out of her hand and on to the floor .
