A New Life: Unwanted Marriage

Anhao rise her head and glared at Shijun

" is something wrong with you ?! "she screamed angrily " why would you do that , are you trying to kill me ?" she asked again when he didn't answer . Shijun just kept staring at her intensely like he wanted to say something but he didn't know how to , so instead of talking he pulled her towards him and kissed her , Anhao tried to fight him at first but that only made the kiss more aggressive and passionate , she finally gave up on struggling and allowed him to kiss her . Shijun kissed her like his life depended on it , he had forgotten that they were on the highway as his tongue dived into her mouth , learning and exploring every part of her , he wanted to more than kiss her but he was suddenly aware of where they were so he pulled back with a laugh " if we keep doing this today then I'm afraid you'll just have to wear something from your wardrobe "

Anhao smiled at him " Don't think I've forgotten this little stunt you pulled today , I'm not asking now but I'm still gonna ask why you suddenly stopped the car " immediately after saying that she realized that she was still talking to Scott before the kiss , she hurriedly picked up her phone and checked it , she saw a message from Scott

" call me when you finish lip locking 🤮"

Anhao g.r.o.a.n.e.d as she thought of ways to explain her current situation to him . Scott was the one person who witnessed what the break-up had done to her , she couldn't eat , sleep or do anything right and to put the icing on top the cake (1) her mother had passed away during that period making it even harder for her to move on . she looked at Shijun as she thought of the past

' what if I give my heart away and he shatters it once more , how am I supposed to recover from that ?' she asked herself .

They arrived at the mall a few minutes later and she came down from the car almost running towards the shops , Shijun simply laughed as he walked behind her .

Anhao walked around as she looked for a shop that could catch her eye . Although she had just signed a deal with Oscar le Renta (1) CEO Alex Bolen she had yet to arrange her mall so she could not go there to shop . she walked around until she saw a Louis Vuitton store and walked inside as expected most of the clothes were beautiful .

she shopped for a few hours , trying on clothes of different kinds and rejecting some , although she had originally come to buy one dress she ended up buying more than fifteen . Shijun wasn't shocked because Anhao had always loved shopping , even in the UK she would drag him to the mall to buy a new outfit but instead of one she would end up buying almost ten . she finished shopping for herself but dragged Shijun with her so they could look for a suitable outfit for him to wear to the party , although his wardrobe was filled with beautiful suits she wanted him to have a piece of clothing from her .

They spent two hours at the mall shopping then she went to a spa to get a massage and later went to the salon for her hair appointment while he went back to the office after calling Bingwen to send a car and a driver to wait for her at the salon .

Shijun was at his office going through doc.u.ments , rejecting and accepting project ideas while looking through partnership offers when he received a call from Bolin , he smiled knowingly as he picked up the call

" What is wrong with you ?! , how can you tell my parents that you are engaged !" Bolin roared through the phone , Shijun laughed heartily as he heard the anger and discomfort in Bolin's voice , he could even imagine the look on Bolin's face at the moment and the caused him to laugh even more until Bolin's angry voice interrupted him again

" Do you think it's funny?! , I just spent three hours looking at pictures of heiresses who would make suitable wives for me and even scanning through their files! " Bolin found it annoying that Shijun was laughing at his predicament .

" I'm glad you are having fun looking for a wife " Shijun paused to laugh before he continued " I hope this would teach you to keep your eyes off my wife " Shijun finished , he sounded serious

" you are a psychopath! , I didn't even know you were engaged to her ! , infact you weren't even engaged to her then so why do you care so much? " Bolin asked

Shijun didn't reply but ended the call instead , he sat in his seat as he thought of Bolin's question ' why did he care so much ?' , he knew the answer but he wasn't willing to admit it to himself .
