A Trainer's Tale: Can He Resist A Pokemon's Charm!?

When they reached the cave-like entrance, Jeid stepped forward. When he arrived at the very front of the entrance, which is protected by a thick layer of barrier, a woman's voice said,

‹Welcome, please say the password›

"Cuteness is JUSTICE!" Jeid said without any hesitation.

Cynthia and Aira had no reaction to this weird password, since they are already numb to it. While it is not the case for Dawn, who has an expression of disbelief written all over her face. While Dawn is still in her frozen state, the voice of the woman said,

‹Voice recognition activated, master's voice has been verified. Welcome to your hideout, master.›

Hearing this, Cynthia and Aira couldn't help but sigh in exasperation. They thought that, 'Jeid(oniichan) really have the strangest ideas.'

Imagine if you bumped into this thing, and the voice asked you what the password is. You only have 3 attempts and you would be blasted by a concentrated laser attack.

After the barrier went down, they immediately headed inside the cave, along with Dawn who is being dragged by Aira and Cynthia.

After they went inside, Dawn immediately barraged Jeid with a lot of questions. Questions like; Why are we here?, What is this place?, Who made this?, and Why is the password so weird?. Jeid answered her questions one by one.

"Firstly, we are here to train. Secondly, this place is our secret hideout! We made this place to train some secret that not everyone should know. Thirdly, I am the one who designed this place and Cynthia helped to gather the funds to create this place. Basically, she just took some money from the inheritance that her parents left her. I was reluctant to take that money at first but, there is no other way but to use it. Lastly, that isn't the password, I just want to say it. If you heard what the AI said, it will open using voice recognition," Jeid replied.

After processing the information that she heard using her young mind, she then asked,

"When did you create this, then? I've been follo… I mean, I've seen you doing nothing but train over this past two years."

If we use the standards of Jeid's previous world, a normal seven years old shouldn't be able to process that much information and glean some parts of it to create more questions. That is, if we're using that world's standards. Because people here are being nourished by an abundant amount of energy, like other inhabitants of this world, their bodies are more resilient than the people living on Earth.

Also, it seems like the energy nourished their brains more. The God of Creation didn't like the fact that their ancestors were too focused on being a muscle head, so he told Arceus to nourish their brains more. At least enough to make them more intelligent than the people of Jeid's planet. Making the average IQ of the people here around 110-135.

That aside, they can not be compared with Jeid's intelligence. After reading some books about town barriers for a year, he started to experiment on it. He thought that he could make use of it in the future, when he's making some kind of a hideout.

'I guess it's fine to tell her the truth. She isn't the type of person to spill the beans to anyone anyway. She's also been following us this whole time but she never once divulged any information about our training regimen to anyone,' Jeid thought. Suddenly, a voice interrupted his train of thoughts.

‹It's okay Jeid, I know that you are just trying to justify yourself for giving information to, in your words, your 'future wife',› the System AI said.

'You don't have to say it like that System. I mean, Dawn is definitely cute, bubbly, lovely…'

Jeid continued on, until he spaced out and started to think about how she would look like when she grows up. It looks like being a child once more ignited his passion for these kinds of things. Oh, this is youth!

Probably sensing Jeid's thoughts, eevee suddenly popped out of the PC storage on her own and jumped onto Jeid bosom with a seemingly cute pout on its furry face.

When Jeid saw this, it was like he was hit by a critical blow. He instantly rubbed his cheeks against hers and started to sing praises about her cuteness. Eevee was satisfied by this and started mewling in pure bliss.

After calming Eevee down, he looked at Dawn and said,

"We have been creating this place for at least over one year. With the help of some helper robots that I created, this was created slowly but surely."

After that short episode, their group headed towards the inner part of the cave-like structure and was met by a large metallic door that demanded a DNA sample. After the scan of Jeid's DNA sample, which was a piece of his silver hair, they were finally allowed to enter the hideout.

When the door opened, they were greeted by a vast expanse of grass that covered the whole floor. It is like a green-colored carpet that gives the place a refreshing vibe to it. There is an obstacle course at a corner, a gym, and a room with a soundproof barrier. There are even some mini-robots that are holding some brooms or some huge scissors cleaning the place.

Dawn was, again, shocked by what she is seeing. She doesn't know who Cynthia's and Aira's parents were, but one thing is for sure, they are filthy rich!

Seeing her shocked expression once again, Aira and Cynthia just smiled wryly thinking that they gave Dawn too many surprises today. Jeid, on the other hand, faced Dawn and told her,

"This is where we will practice from now on! You better be ready! Although I will only give you a basic training regimen until you get used to this, it will still take a lot of willpower to complete it! Do you understand!?" Jeid spoke like he is a leader of a military training camp.

Dawn, like a military trainee, shouted,

"Sir, yes sir!"

Seeing this spectacle, Aira and Cynthia giggled. It looks like there would be another person that would be joining Jeid's 'basic' training regimen.

'Although he said it was basic, it could never be described as one. Even my training in the PokeHighschool in the city was never that hard,' Cynthia thought. This is one of the reasons why she stopped her schooling there and decided to stay here. She even got herself another rare pokemon as her starter from Professor Rowan.

When she asked Jeid and Aira what their plans were for the future, Jeid said that he wanted to first join the Kanto League while Aira said that she would follow him. Thinking about all this, she took two pokeballs from her belt.

Tossing the two pokeballs up in the air after pressing each button twice, she shouted,

"Come out, Gible and Riolu!"

Some of you might be confused as to why there are robots in here. Well, the answer is simple. Because there are goddamn barriers here so the world's setting is obviously futuristic! I even mentioned at some point that the technology of this world is advanced, so robots won't be a surprise if I add it here.

Just in case you want to ask, we will keep it strictly pokemon. What I mean is, the BS system shop won't include some BS otherworld powers and some BS like that.

About the pokemon having a human form, I'm still finalizing the details so it would possibly be included in the future chapter. But it's still too early to talk about that.
