A Twisted Romance

On their way to school, Mizuki and Kasumi were talking about random stuff and were jumping from topic to topic. Kasumi would sometimes bring questions about the shop and his talent at cooking. Even though she was his cousin she didn't know what happened to him for seven years

"So did your father teach you how to cook ramen before he passed away?" Kasumi needed to bring in mention his father, even though she knew that Mizuki won't react at all when you would ask him about his dead parents

"No. I learned from a notebook I've found in a cardboard box after they passed away. In it there were written recipes for the dishes from the original menu" Mizuki didn't Kasumi's question and mentioned the notebook

"So there was something like that? Interesting. And you tell me that you gained this amazing talent just by reading ramen recipes?" Kasumi was dumbstruck

"Yes" Mizuki replied back with a simple yes

"Wow. That would make you the perfect husband. One that knows how to cook and can fulfil the wives p.l.e.a.s.u.r.es, and by p.l.e.a.s.u.r.es I mean all of them" Kasumi had a l.e.w.d face, but wasn't horny enough to jump on him and have s.e.x, but he was in his defensive mode against horny women, mode that would always be used against Asami

They arrived at school and suffered the long opening ceremony of the new year and after all the shenanigans at school they went to eat, obviously ramen. When they arrived luck was among one of them and no one was at the table

"Oh, a new couple showed up. Should I make the lovey-dovey ramen bowl that lovers share between them?"

"No and we are not a couple. I already have Hanami"

"Then two simple bowls coming right up"

"How was the first day at high school Mizuki?" Hanami was excited to hear stories from now on about his high school experiences

"It felt as always, regular school, but with new classmates" Mizuki was playing with the bamboo sticks out of boredom "Asami did you patch the bullet holes?" he saw the bullet holes disappeared

"Bullet holes?!" Kasumi was dumbstruck again

"Yeah I called a friend to help me patch them" Asami finished the bowls and gave it to them

"What bullet holes?" Kasumi felt like she was ignored

"Well your friend did a good job. It looks like new. How did he do it?"

"I don't know his technique but I know that his father works as a carpenter, so he learned some techniques"

"Hey! What bullet holes are you talking about?" Kasumi grabbed Mizuki's cheeks and asked for the third time the same question

"Well a few days ago some dudes showed up to try scare him and steal the money, while having real shotguns, but they thought the shotguns were some action movie decoys" Hanami responded to her question so that Kasumi could release Mizuki's cheeks and not ruin his cute face

"Wow. Wait... they shot with shotguns at you?! How are you still alive?!" Kasumi was alarmed and happy at the same time because he was all right

"Well only one of them shot at me accidentally and I dodged the bullets at the perfect timing" Mizuki remembered that epic dodge that saved his life

While they were talking about the Kentaro event, Asami was day-dreaming and suddenly said something completely out of context

"You know what are we missing? A cat. I want a cat"
