An announcement was made after Oryx's presence over the Academy. The Grandmaster made sure all students were notified about their safety and well being after the incident. However, most guild members realized this was the mission that remained untouched for weeks on end.

Calvin on the other hand, wasn't as calm as the Grandmaster. Urgent manners needed to be revealed and danger has already reached its utmost limit on Academy grounds. Calvin made sure to call a meeting in his office with Endless Sun as soon as he returned from the forest.

After so many meetings this year, Calvin arranged a few more chairs in his office, giving everyone an open seat.

Calvin sat behind his desk, sighed, and crossed his hands. "There is a reason Oryx was able to find Princewood so easily." He said with a concerned look. "And it's none of your faults… But, it is because of Rina."

The attention quickly dragged onto Rina, and back to Calvin for an explanation. He was about to explain when Rina stole the words straight from his mouth, "It's because of the necklace, isn't it?"

"Yes and No. The necklace is he found us, but it wasn't your fault. It's mine."

Everyone went silent for a few moments, realizing how serious he was.

"The dragon your sister killed was Azimore. Azimore is Oryx's son." Calvin dropped his hands on the armrests of the chair. "Mooks, will you do me the honors. I can't live with myself if I keep giving these news to them." Calvin's face went dim, pale, and broken as he turned around.

Mooks leaped onto Calvin's desk, giving them a sturdy look, "Oryx has been in eternal slumber for centuries, deep within the depths of the Ocean. Osiris is the most likely reason Oryx is awake now, due to the Curse of Command." He raised an eyebrow to see if they knew what he was talking about. Luckily, Faibel already filled everyone in on information about Curses and their power, giving Mooks the permission to continue. "Even if a creature is corrupted by a curse, their inner emotions and rage can still be found within their souls. This of course means that since Azimore has been killed, Oryx can sense his son's heart, wrapped around your c.h.e.s.t." He glanced at Rina, making sure everyone else did too.

Rina detached the necklace around her neck, holding it like a gem in the heel of her palm. "I can't get rid of this. If there is even a slight chance I can bring Violet back…"

"You don't have to, and it won't matter if you do." Mooks said with a sharp voice, "Oryx has already seen you and our location. Only way to relieve you of his sight is to end Oryx's life."

The room fell silent again, broken by Leo jumping in, "What's Oryx's power level like? I'm sure of Rina's sister and Calvin can kill a dragon, all of us can too. Right?"

A few nods of approval agreed with him from Cartuja and Paris, but Mooks remained silent, he even chuckled a bit out of Leo's curiosity. Seeing an animal laugh or smirk was odd for them, but it was quite pleasant at a time like this.

"Azimore was nearly a decade old, He barely even had 5,000 power level points." Mooks regained his composure, jumping from the desk on top of Leo's l.a.p. "Oryx has been alive for Centuries. We're looking at somewhere around 20,000 to 30,000 power level points. Power that humans can only wish to achieve… Although there are some exceptions."

"Well if everyone attacked him-"

"No." Mooks jumped back onto the desk. "It doesn't work like that. If power levels are so far apart there isn't even a point of trying. Your best attack will give nothing more than a tickle onto him."

Calvin slowly spun back around to face his students, "I'm afraid he's right. Therefore, I'm going to have to train all of you on how to use your magic to its full potential starting tomorrow. You'll have to miss a few classes, so I'll make sure to leave a personal leave of absence to your professors."

Everyone's interest suddenly peaked, raising a few smiles of confidence from the group. Cartuja and Leo even high-fived each other, with Atlas joining them right after.

"This doesn't mean you will all fight Oryx." Calvin raised his eyebrows, wrinkling his forehead in the process, "I just want you all to be ready when the time comes."

Calvin dismissed them, sitting patiently with Mooks by his side.

As the door closed with the last one to leave, Mooks turned back to Calvin, looking more intrigued than usual. "So how much capacity did they truly inherit from becoming the Laws?"

Calvin chuckled a bit, exhaling a large amount of air from his nose, "If I told you, you wouldn't believe me."

Mooks tried his best to form a grin, "Very well. This will be interesting."

Deep within the valleys of the mountains, Oryx settled himself onto the outer layers of the grey stone structure.

It was nearly fully complete, only missing small parts of unfinished walls and an empty ceiling giving light to the inner compartments. The structure resembled a massive cube, stretching for what seemed like hundreds of meters in each direction. The stone polished itself, making no room for windows or even the smallest of cracks.

Osiris stood firmly outside the cube, looking at his proudest creature under his command. Alastor stood alongside him, preoccupied with the marvelous scenery facing him.

"It is almost time, Lord Osiris." Alastor grinned pleasantly.

"Almost." Osiris smiled in return, revealing a row of polished, perfectly white teeth.
