Although Alastor doesn't seem like the man to lie, something in his proposal sounded strange, almost as if he knew they would say yes. Cartuja kept his arms crossed, looking uninterested as usual. Laena remained quiet, along with Faibel and Paris. Leo was the only one that seemed to be excited while Atlas and Rina had suspicious looks on their faces.

"You' saying seven teenagers go kill a dragon? You crazy?" Cartuja kept his arms folded.

"Yeah, this seems ridiculous. Besides, we only just started training with Calvin. Who knows how we can deal with a full on dragon?" Rina said with a questionable tone.

Alastor grinned, "My my, who said anything about all seven of you?"

Puzzled looks stared back at him in awe. Faibel squinted his eyes, trying to investigate Alastor to the best of his ability.

"With the right hands, Oryx should be a good fight for some of you." He paused, scouting his d.e.s.i.r.ed targets for the mission, "Cartuja." His voice became much more sharp and dictatored, "Laena. Faibel. And Rina. Are you up to my request? If you succeed, those 2,000,000 points from the headquarters are yours."

"Wait! I'll go!" Leo jumped with enthusiasm.

Alastor slowly turned his head towards him, "I didn't say you could." His voice seemed devilish, almost as if another being replied in his own body.

Leo gulped in fear, and backed up a few feet to settle down.

Cartuja and Laena agreed after Faibel requested it be at night. Alastor chuckled a bit, "Of course it will be at night. How else can we leave the school undetected."

Now the attention dragged onto Rina. Worry filled her face as she looked at the other three called upon, and then at Atlas. He came over to her, grabbed her hand, and placed it onto her necklace, "Do it for her." He smiled and backed off.

Rina gripped the necklace tightly as she looked at Atlas smiling back, then turned to Alastor to give her answer. "When do we leave?"

Alastor's grin widened even further, "Be ready tomorrow at 10pm sharp. Meet me in my office, and make sure no one sees you. Afterall, we are breaking multiple school rules here." He laughed a bit. Which seemed odd for some reason, considering he walks around with a grin all day.

The following day, Alastor waited patiently for everyone to arrive, sitting motionless behind his desk in a serious manner. Mooks was sitting on the desk beside him, awaiting for Endless Sun to arrive.

"Do you seriously believe they will be able to kill Oryx?" Mooks questioned without looking at Alastor.

"My my, and aren't you supposed to be the one who knows everything." Alastor clasped his hands below his chin.

"I'm assuming you have another plan you didn't tell them about. It's the only logical scenario. 7 teenagers won't be able to kill a dragon. Especially one under a curse."

Alastor chuckled a bit, "Why do you suppose I asked you to come? Mooks: the Sagittarius Zodiac." Alastor emphasized the 'Zodiac' quite mockingly.

Mooks looked at him unfazed by his response, "The same reason I'm posing as a professor's assistant."

A sudden knock on the door interrupted their feud, prompting Alastor to let them in. Everyone shuffled in quietly, knowing the halls echoed like faint whispers in deep caves at this hour of the night.

Darkness flooded the room from the windows, stretching shadows across every surface of Alastor's office. Candles littered every shelf and open space like trash on the sidewalk, but gave an appropriate amount of light for each corner of the room. Alastor gestured for one of them to close the door, waiting for silence to overtake the unwanted noises scattering throughout the room.

"As you can probably guess, Mooks has decided to join us." Alastor's voice was hollow, but remained confident.

Mooks opened a small cotton bag in front of him, revealing 6 tiny blue spheres inside it. "I finished your enchantments earlier than expected. Each of you except for Atlas take one and swallow it."

Paris, Laena, Cartuja, Faibel, Leo and Rina all came up and took a sphere for themselves. Cartuja was the first to throw it down the hatch, "So whats' up? I don't feel any diffe-" A sudden sharp pain in his stomach interrupted him. His careless face looked like it was about to vomit, but after a few seconds everything went away like it was never even there.

Mooks looked at Cartuja with a grim face, "It's better with water for the enchantment to dissolve faster."

"Woulda' liked that info two minutes ago." Cartuja coughed.

Paris laughed a bit to herself, following suit along with everyone else. The same response happened as a reflex to the enchantment, followed by a few seconds of discomfort, and subduing completely right after.

"Incase everyone forgot," Mooks paused to make sure they were all listening, "This enchantment will counter any spells that can trigger a revelation of not only your power level, but other unwanted spells as well. The only other spell that can possibly see through you is a spell called 'Reveal.' This spell isn't taught in our curriculum due to the dangers it can possess. Also, to cast this spell, a minimum power level of 7,500 is required, or else your body will simply fail to produce it."

"Cartuja. We're not done." Mooks voice dragged his attention away from the other, "Kneel!"

Cartuja looked at Alastor to see if Mooks was being serious. A silent nod in response answered his question, and he kneeled before the luscious white fur of Mooks.

Mooks placed a paw in the middle of Cartuja's c.h.e.s.t, closing his eyes as he began chanting words in a language no one understood.. "Anak Vistai lukeem."

A feeling of recoupment filled Cartuja for a split moment, and vanished nearly a second after. Following Cartuja, Mooks completed the enchantment with everyone else.

Cartuja raised his hands towards Paris, "Detect." As the spell left his lips, two outcomes happened. The first, a zero popped up for Cartuja to show the enchantment worked. The second, a slap to the face by Paris for not asking her permission.

A few laughs spread across the room, interrupted by Alastor taking his stand.

He opened his eyes to reveal a solid sheet of nothing but darkness within them. "Reveal!" His voice reached the hallway like wildfire, showing every possible thing to see within the seven students standing before him. His eyes danced across the room brilliantly, observing each and every one of them. "Excellent. Seems your training with Pride is paying off." He laughed. "One of you is already at a power level 6,700."

Paris's ego filled her voice with a high-pitched tone, "WHAT? Who?!"

Alastor grinned, staying silent for a moment. "That's for all of you to figure out… Now get ready, we're leaving."

Before they left, Faibel turned to Mooks to fulfill his curiosity, "Mooks, how did you create these enchantments. And how precisely do these work."

Mooks seemed to smile, but it looked more of a yawn rather than a grin, "Every enchantment is different due to how complicated one can get. Most enchantments are used on objects rather than humans. However, if a human or a living creature swallows one, the small sphere breaks down in your bloodstream and binds to every fiber of magic essence within you when the proper enchantment is applied. The process to create one is complicated, but I'm sure you will learn about it soon enough in your classes."

"Hmm." Faibel adjusted his glasses, "I do believe professor Zelle said something involving them later in the year."

"It seems more than likely. Zelle is skilled in his craft." Mooks jumped down from the desk, "Atlas, Leo, Paris. You may go back to your dorms. The rest of you, let's go. Alastor's waiting."
