Karl and Mortred was now in front of the Hokage office. Mortred still had sleepy eyes and walking like a drunk person. Karl on the other hand had all his sleepiness gone. All he was thinking now why would Tsunade summon them in such short notice. He then remembered what the anbu said earlier this morning.

"Good morning" A anbu said after Karl opened the door.

"Good morning too" He smiled.

"The hokage need your presence in her office. It's about an urgent matter" The anbu said then

A anbu goes in their residence and tell them that the Hokage needs their presence in her office. Hearing that it sounded urgent, Karl woke up Mortred and told her about it. Both of them then get ready and went on their way.

Karl sighed.

'We haven't had breakfast yet but here we are infront of the hokage office early in the morning' He complained

"Well let's go" Karl said and knocked the door and went in while the sleepy assassin just followed him. Karl then saw Tsunade, Kakashi and two teenager.

"Goodmorning Karl. Sorry for the sudden summon" Tsunade greeted.

Karl nodded.

"No it's fine." Karl answered. "So what do you want us for?"

Tsunade then nodded.

"This is the team that I assigned you in. Team 7" Tsunade said as point to the three people in the office.

"As you already know. This is Hatake Kakashi. He is the captain of this team"

Karl then looked at Kakashi who nod at him.

'I like this guy. His cool' Karl thought.

Tsunade saw the interaction between the two smiled within herself.

"And this is..." Tsunade was to introduce the other member of the team but they decided to do it themselves.

"My name is Haruno Sakura nice to meet you" The girl said and bowed.

"And I am Uzumaki Naruto!! THE FUTURE HOKAGE OF THIS VILLAGE!! REMEMBER MY NAME!" The blonde kid yelled. Naruto then gazed at the couple.

"I don't know what happened but I don't like the two of you. Especially her" The blonde said as he pointed at the sleepy assassin.

'This kid had a lot of energy' Karl thought.

"Naruto. Don't be like that to your new team." Tsunade said with a neutral voice.

"Huh? You know them Naruto?" Sakura asked.

"Yes. I will never forget the faces of the people who almost destroyed the village and almost killed Kurenai" Naruto said as he gazed at the couple..

"Naruto enough!! They are just trying t-" Tsunade was about to say sommething but..

"It's fine Tsunade" Karl said to her. He then came closer to Naruto and bowed.

"I'm sorry about what happened that day. I hope you can forgive us" Karl said. The sleepy Mortred who saw this just suddenly wake up and also bowed.

" I'm sorry too" She said. Naruto on the other hand didn't expect them to apologize that quickly because he thought this people had pride of steel. He's not really wrong but nor right either. Both of them does have pride of steel but if they know it's their fault, they are willing to let their pride down just to avoid more conflict. That what kind of people they are.

Naruto was confused what to do.

"J-Just because you apologize doesn't mean everything is fine" He said as he looked away.

"We know. I hope time will help us heal your hatred against us" Karl wise words sounded amazing in Naruto's ears.

" Hmmp" He just let out not knowing what to answer anymore.

'They handled it pretty nicely. The persistent Naruto just surrendered in front of me. What a rare day it is ' Tsunade thought as she smiled.

"Now everything is fine, I am gonna tell you your mission" Tsunade's smile then washed off and a serious face replaced it. All of them then payed attention to the mission that Tsunade will give them.

"The Kazekage of the Village Hidden in the Sands had been kidnapped by the Akatsuki" Tsunade said.

"WHAT?!?!?" Naruto yelled as he clenched his fist. The atmosphere around him then change as he let some of his chakra out. All of them just stared at Naruto after he yelled.

"Naruto" Sakura just let off. She never saw Naruto like that so she's surprised.

'This kid is different' Karl thought. Mortred also had the same thoughts as Karl. They just steal glances at each other and nodded.

'Let's not let our guard down around this kid' They both thought.

"Naruto calm down" Tsunade said.

"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN!?!? IT'S MY FRIEND GAARA WE'RE TALKING ABOUT" Naruto yelled again.

" Naruto" Kakashi said as he put his hand in his shoulder.

"Being angry doesn't take you Nowhere. Instead of being angry, we should listen to Hokage so know what we can do" He said.

With that, Naruto seem to calm down a little.

Kakashi nodded at Tsunade. She nod back.

"Gaara has been kidnapped from the village itself a day ago by the Akatsuki" Tsunade said.

Karl and Mortred are kinda confused right now but they didn't interrupted the Hokage. It's an urgent matter and they should leave as soon as possible so they've decided to ask later.

"The Sand village asked for our assistance in the matter. We should go there and track down the Akatsuki's hideout" Simple explanation.

"That's it? Then we should get going!!" Naruto said.

"Naruto Don be hasty. The distance between villages is so far. If we rush directly, We'll starve to death" Kakashi explained.

"Kakashi is right Naruto. Don't worry we'll save Gaara for sure" Sakura reassured. Naruto continued clenching his hand until it stared bleeding. Kakashi and Sakura just looked at the blonde worrying about him.

Sakura then went closer.

"Give me your hand. It's bleeding" She said as he took Naruto's be hand.

"We'll surely save him Naruto. Don't worry abo-" She stopped between words.

'His hand... its fine?' Sakura thought.

Not just her but everyone in the room saw it. Everyone is intrigued especially Karl and Mortred.

'Regeneration' Karl thought. 'Just who is this kid?'

Naruto himself didn't realize what just happened due to him worrying about Gaara.

"I finished healing your hand" Sakura said. "You can't just injure your hand like that. You can't fight properly if you are injured"

" Sorry" Naruto just said.

"Now everybody. Gather your gears and let's meet up in the village gate in 30 mins." Kakashi said.

" Alright Kakashi-Sensei" Sakura said. The couple just nodded and Naruto was just silent. Everybody then left after saying goodbye to Tsunade.

"I hope everything will be fine" Tsunade said as she look at the window.

"Man I'm full! Luckily this ramen shop is open almost a whole day. What a convenient thing" Mortred said.

They decided to just eat at Ichiraku since they haven't had any breakfast yet. After they ate, they bought some stuffs for the mission. After buying their 'necessities', they then started walking toward the gate with 5 minutes spare time. So they decided maybe they should just wait there for their teammate. But to their surprise, Naruto and Sakura was already there. All left was their captain.

"I hope Kakashi-sensei show up in time" The agitated Naruto said. He seem to be in a good mood. After eating Ichiraku, his mood got a little bit calmer. He's kinda back to his old self.

"Yeah I hope too. If his late I'm going to punch him" Sakura said. Both of them was talking when they realize the arrival of their two other teammates.

"Hello Karl and Mortred" Sakura said as she bowed. Even though they are just teammates, they look older than them so Sakura who respect to them.

Karl just nodded and Mortred quickly came closer to her.

"Hey hey you're a healer right?" Mortred energetically asked.

" Y-Yes" Sakura stuttered from the sudden response.

"THAT'S COOL!!" Mortred said while Sakura just laughed.

'She's just like us' Sakura thought. Karl just look at her kinda smiling inside while they both talk to each other. Naruto on the other hand doesn't seem to care about the new comers. He just look at the sky with his hands in the back of his head. That stayed not for so long though since Kakashi came 3 minutes early.

"Yo! Luckily I didn't run into some black cat or some old lady today. So here I am." He smiled.

Naruto and Sakura just stared at Kakashi with surprised expression.

"Kakashi-sensei is not late" Sakura murmured. While Naruto keep washing his eyes with his hand.

Karl on the other hand was intrigued. 'Does Kakashi always come late?' He thought.

"Hahaha... I can't let everybody wait for me all the time. Especially as serious as this" Kakashi said.

He then scanned everyone " Looks like everyone is ready. Shall we go now?" he asked.

Everybody answer with a nod.

"Okay... then let's go then?" Kakashi said as he started running away towards the village exit.

Naruto clenched his fist and also started running.

"Wait for me Gaara. I'll surely save you" He said.

Seeing them started moving, the rest of the group also followed the two. It's gonna be a lot of running. Like A Lot of running. But everyone is up to take the challenge. What does Might Guy always said again? "Surpass your limit! PLUS ULTRA!!"
