Adventure Of The Arsenal Magus

The couple is now walking in the streets of Konoha and didn't really know where to go.

"So what now?" The assassin asked.

"Hmm.. it's getting dark. Maybe it's time to look for place to stay for rest of our stay here." Karl said as he walks.

"Does this world have Inn here though?" She asked.

"I hope so." Karl said and started to scan for somekind of a Inn in within in streets. As they both continued walking, he then heard a growling sound in his back. When he turn around, he saw the cute assassin with a blush on her face.

"Hungry?" He asked.

"I-I-I a-am n-n-not hh-ungry a-at all" She said while stuttering hard.

'Stubborn' He thought

"Maybe we can grab some food before we find a place to stay. I'm getting hungry myself" He said as she look at the blushing girl behind her. He then scan the streets and found a small booth that looks like a small eatery.

'Ichiraku ramen? Is that a food place?' Karl thought. 'Well I guess I'll try'

"Let's go in that place. I smell something good from there" Karl said and started walking to the small booth. The assassin just followed him. She always do. She don't know why either but she did quietly followed him. After he reached the small booth, he then sway some hanging stuffs that is kinda blocking the view inside of the small booth. He then saw 4 chairs and a guy doing something. The guy then realize he had customers and welcomed them.

"Good evening Ma'am, Sir what's your order?" the guy asked.

'So this is really a eatery or somekind' Karl thought.

"Good evening too." Karl said and sat down in on of the chair. The assassin did the same and sat down beside Karl. She was excited to eat considering she is hungry but she didn't show it.

Karl then talked. "So what can we order here?"

"here's our menu sir" The guy said and gave each of them menu.

"Ra-men?" The assassin said seeing this kind of food for the first time. Karl also scanned the menu and saw it is all somewhat kind of the same, so he just picked randomly.

"I'll have small serving of this" Karl said as he pointed something in the menu.

"Then I'll have a large serving of this" The assassin said also pointing something on the menu.

'Large?' Karl thought.

"Coming right up sir" The guy said as he started doing his thing while the couple just sat their.

"So how was your visit at konoha? is the village treating you nicely?" the guy asked while preparing the orders.

"Yeah it's a nice village full of cool people jumping through roofs" The assassin as she now didn't hide her exciteness and joyfully wait for the food.

"Yeah I like this village". 'Except for the security' Karl thought in her head. Karl realize something.

"How do you know we are not from here?" Karl asked.

"Well.... my ramen stand is not really that big but it's really popular in this place. Usually people who ask for menu are not from here." He said. "Here's your orders" the guy said as he handed two bowls of ramen.

"thank you" The couple both said to the guy. They grab the bowls closer to them but saw no familiar utensils used for eating.

"Ahmm.. Do you have forks or spoon?" The assassin asked.

"Fork? Spoon? What are those?" The guy asked.

"You don't use those? Then what do you use for eating then?" She asked again. Karl just sat there silently since the assassin is asking the questions he want to ask.

"Ahmm.. This?" The guy said as he took one wooden like thing from a container and break it to two.

"What's that?" she asked.

"This is chopsticks. Never seen one before?" The guy asked.

"No. It's my first time seeing one." She said. "How do you even eat with those things? It's just two pieces of sticks" she finished her words.

" You use it like this" The guy said as he demonstrate how to use the chopsticks. After showing it, the assassin tried it but found it kinda hard. Everytime she tried doing it the sticks just fall.

"This is impossible!! it's so hard." She yelled.

"Even Karl won't be able to use it even how smart he is. " She said as she look at Karl... who is already eating his ramen with the chopsticks.

"Hmm? What did you say?" The magus asked not fully heard what she say because he is in deep thoughts.

"HEY HOW DO YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT!!" the assassin yelled.

"Well.... he did show it to us. I just did what he instructed and it came out pretty effective" He said as he took a sip of the ramen.

"THIS IS NOT FAIR!! I WANT TO EAT TOO!!" The assassin yelled again.

"If you stopped yelling maybe I'll teach you" he said while taking another sip.

"A-Alright I will be queit. Just please teach me how to use this" she said now in a low voice.

Karl sighed. "Here do it like this. " Karl said as she took her hands with his and gently guided her fingers using his. While Karl was doing this, his also giving instructions. He's so focused on teaching though to the point that he didn't even saw how red the assassin was.

"And do this. That should work" Karl finished his instructions and look at the blushing assassin.

"Hmm.. You fine? You're so red are you sick?" Karl asked.

"Y-Yeah I-I-I am fine. Thanks for teaching me" The girl said in a very cute way. Even Karl found it cute but obviously hid it.

"Your welcome. You needed to learn it since we will be here for a while." Karl said as he finished his small serving. "Thanks for the food" Karl said. Mortred on the other hand was so shocked that she didn't even more for a whole minute.

"Are you sure you're okay? You seem not" Karl said as he lean closer and check her temperature.... with his forehead.

"You seem fine. This is average heat" He said and lean out and look a the girl who is now red as a tomato. She then flicked Karl's hand.

"I-I t-told you I'm fine!!" the girl yelled which made the magus confuse.

Karl stared at the angry cat for a while.

"Okay if you say so" He said. "Can I get another small serving of this? It's quite delicious. I never tasted something like this before" Karl said as he smiled.

"Alrighty! second serving coming up" he said as he started making another food. Mortred on the other hand has became more interested in the food after seeing the unusual Karl smiling after tasting the food. She then tried to do what the guy and Karl taught her so far. She tried a couple times and also fail couple times. But she didn't surrender and and retried again. After more tries, she finally got the hang of it and finally able to use it. Not really properly but she can still eat with it. She then smiled happily as she able to eat the delicious food. After a while, she finished hers just before Karl finished his.

"That's really good!!" The assassin said.

"Yeah. I might eat here everyday." Karl said as he placed the bowl.

"Thanks for the food" Both of them said. Karl then take ANOTHER bag of coins and place it in the table and left. Mortred then followed him and said her farewell.

"Bye old man. I'll be eating here again in the future!" She said and left. The man just look at where the two interesting couple left. He then look at the payment that the man left on the table. After opening it, he was shocked. It is a bag full of gold coins. He don't even know how to act. He just stood their with mouth open wide as he looked at the coins. As he looks at it, the door kitchen opened and a girl came in.

"Dad I'm back" the girl said with some plastic bags. She heard no answer from her father who usual welcome her. She then saw his father standing still looking something in a table. "Dad?" She asked. She then saw his father became very surprised when she call him.

"Ayame. Your back" He said still surprised.

"Yeah." She answered. "What wrong?" the girl asked.

"Ahmmm.." He said as he look again at the bag on the table.

'whats with that bag? Why dad keep staring at it?' she thought as she came closer to her father. "What's with the bag? Why you're s-" She was about to say something when she stopped after seeing what the bag contain.

"W-WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?" Ayame yelled as she saw the bag of coins.

"Ahmmm.... There was a couple eating here earlier. They ordered 2 small and 1 large of serving of ramen. Then they payed this and left. I didn't even get their names" The man said still confused about his feelings. Ayame on the other hand take one coin and stared at it intensely trying to see whether it's real or not.

"T-THIS IS REAL GOLD" She said in realization.

"Yeah. That two couple. How can they give this so easily. We could renovate the business with this" He said.

"SURE HELL WE CAN!!" She yelled. 'Who the hell gave this much money?' she thought as she slowly became calmer. 'When you go here again I'll serve you the best ramen in the world' she thought as motivation came in her. As the dawn became more darker, they continued with their lives.

Karl and Mortred on the other hand is walking energetically with a full stomach.

"That thing called ramen is good. I will eat there again in the future" The assassin said with a huge smile in her face.

"Yeah. It's really delicious." He said. But to his mind though he was wondering.

'I wonder why they only have a small booth for a very nice food they are selling? I hope the gold can help them renovate their place. They deserve more than that' Karl actually thought falling in love with their ramen.Both of them fall in love with the food. They even forgotten their current goal. Finding an inn. Now they are only mindlessly walking to the Konoha's street not knowing where to go. It is getting more darker now. Barely people are walking in the streets now. No more kids playing around but instead a.d.u.l.ts having fun with their own thing. They didn't really roam mindlessly for too long though since Karl waked up from his dream and quickly tried to find what they are looking for. He was just walking quietly through the streets when he realize there are no footsteps behind him. She turn around and saw no one. The assassin was no longer following him. They might got separated... somehow. The author don't know how either but with this airhead assassin.... everything is possible.

Karl sighed. 'Where the hell did that airhead go?' he thought as he walk the opposite direction where he was heading to. She just might be in the dark alleys petting the animals in the area. As he was walking through the streets, he heard a familiar laugh in a alley. So he went there to check if the airhead is there. And yes she is there. Patting a cute animal walking in four legs. A cat.

He sighed looking at the girl. "What are you doing?" The assassin turned around and saw Karl.

"Sorry. I just heard this cat asking for help" The assassin said as she continued petting it.

Karl sighed again. " It's just a stray cat. Come on we need to find an Inn. It's getting very late" He said.

"B-But.... I can't just leave her here. She had a ribbon meaning she's owned by someone and got lost" she said with a worried expression.

Karl sighed again. "It's owner might looking for it. When you bring it with us, it will be a harder for the owner to find it" Karl explained to her. Mortred just crouch there petting the cat. After a while, they then realize there is people approaching them in a average speed. Karl stood there while Mortred stood up and reach her back pocket. Just shortly, 3 kids then showed with bruises over their body and looking very tired. The group is composed of 2 male kid and one female.

"THERE IT IS!! THERE'S THE CAT!!" One of the boy in the group said.

" QUICKLY!! CORNER IT!! WE NEED TO CATCH IT NOW!! IT'S GETTING LATE!!" the girl from the group said.

"ROGER!!" Another kid said.

They then rushed toward the cat but they stopped in their track when they saw two people dressing weirdly. But their clothes come second for now. Their focus is on the cat on the ground getting pet by a beautiful lady.

"K-Konohamaru!! The girl is petting the cat!!" One of the girl said.

"Y-Yes.... How is this possible" The surprised boy whose name is suppose to be Konohamaru said. Mortred then stood up from crouching and faced the three.

"What do you want?" Mortred said as she look menacingly at the bunch.

The girl had tears in her eyes. "Konohamaru! She's scary!!" The girl said as he hid behind Konohamaru.

"I-It's fine Moegi!! I-I'll protect you at all cost!! Right Udon?" Konohamaru said as he look at his other friend.

He nodded. "Yes Moegi. We will protect you" Udon said.

Karl sighed.... for the 11th time. "Hey you're scaring them" Karl said to the assassin. She realize her mistake and quickly apologized to the kids.

"I-I am very sorry. I didn't mean to scare you" She sincerely said. The group saw this and quickly loosen up from the tension.

"DON'T SCARE US LIKE THAT!!" Konohamaru yelled. Mortred said sorry again trying to fix her mess. After for a while, the overall tension is gone.

"Well anyways. What can I do for you guys?" Mortred asked.

"We're here for the cat!" Konohamaru said.

"Ohh you guys are the owners?"

" Nope. It's just our mission. The owner ordered us to find her lost cat.... for the 13th time" Konohamaru said as he show his tiredness.

"13th times?" Mortred asked as she look to the cat. "Why did you run away that many times?" She said to the cat. It makes some cat sounds like it is answering her. Mortred then look at the three. "She said she don't want to return to her owner." she said.

"WOW! You can talk to animals?!? That's cool!! Konohamaru said. Karl then lean closer to Mortred.

"You're making too much attention" Karl whispered. "Just give the cat to them and let's find this stupid Inn." Karl said. Mortred just stood there worrying whether she should give the cat back or not. But in th end, she gave it and then they continued in their adventure.

"Thanks for the help!!" Konohamaru yelled as they running away.

Mortred just waved at them as they disappear out of their vision.

"Let's go now?" She asked. Karl nodded and started walking rowars a direction.
