Chapter 37 - The First Impression

"God I hate that…" Arthur muttered holding his dizzy head, stumbling slighty after getting released from Summers grasp as she dragged him to Pit's gym from Beacon within a few seconds.

"Eh, you'll get used to it." Summer shrugged in response

"So what are we doing today?" he asked her from his dizzy state.

"Combat practice, I was originally going to have a spar with you but I ended up finding two volunteers who you will be fighting, they should be here soon, so go get dressed so we can begin" Summer answered

"Oh thank god…" Arthur muttered

"What was that?" Summer said with her drill sergeant tone and a wide, menacing grin as she glared deep into Arthur's soul.

"Nothing! I-I'll go get dressed!" He said quickly bolting away from her towards the changing rooms knowing that if he answered he would probably have to go into the 'Chamber' again to further 'loosen' his muscles, as Summer had so kindly done the day before.

"God, she is terrifying…" Arthur muttered aloud as he entered the changing room. Feeling a shiver run down his back 'she didn't hear that did she?' he thought as he turned to the locker Pit had given him yesterday as a form of payment for his 'willing' in the loosest sense of the words, testing of the Bravos Chamber.

As he turned to his chamber his body froze as he found he was not alone, his eyes had locked with another, a woman in this case. Their eyes stayed connected for nearly a minute as they both tried to analyse the situation.

Arthur's mind wandered a bit as he looked down from the girls eyes before darting back to them when he realized that she was currently in the middle of changing and was currently topless, her body frozen as she held a bra in her hands, her c.h.e.s.t in full view with pale pink nubs at the centre of them.

Realizing he should probably leave, he turned around and quickly ran for the door shouting "I am so sorry!" as he ran with a bright red face full of shame.

The girl quickly covered her c.h.e.s.t, letting out a shrill shriek once she saw Arthur's eyes wander over her body, her face flushing to a bright red as she collapsed to the floor letting her legs splay out under her.

Slamming the door behind him as fast as he could Arthur ran to the wall on the opposite side of the changing rooms and start banging his head against it in shame of his inappropriate actions.

"Wow, déjà vu ain't it, King?" A she said, the tome having come out of his satchel and floating right next to him. Arthur began hitting his head even harder against the wall, his mind wandering to the times he had walked in on Ashe changing in the middle of his room back on Earth.

"What? No response? I thought you liked the show back then~" Ashe teased with a smirk.

"Ashe… Now is not the time…" Arthur pleaded, grinding his head into the wall.

"Hmph! Your no fun!" Ashe responded sounding like a spoiled nine year old as she went back to her satchel home.

'God, what do I do now…' Arthur thought his mind wondering how he was going to apologize for it. He once again turned red as he thought about the figure of the girl he had just seen, Slamming his head even harder against the wall to clear his mind.

"Hey you!" a feminine voice called out to Arthur who didn't move his head and just continued to grind his head into the wall.

"You can at least look at me ya'know?" The girl said grumpily, not getting a response from Arthur.

"Anyways, ya seen a brown haired girl, fair skin, bunny ears and a cute but diminutive c.h.e.s.t? She said she had already arrived but I can't seem to find her." The girl questioned causing Arthur to blush even more than he already was as he stopped grinding his head into the wall.

"Judging by your red face, I'm guessing that's a yeah?" she asked again her eyes squinting at Arthur as he scr.a.p.ed his head up and down the wall as a mock nod to her.

"Okay and where is she then?" She asked impatiently. Her eyes turning to the changing rooms when Arthur lifted his hand and pointed behind him with his thumb. Her eyes looked at the door, noting the sign on it with the words 'Mens' written on it, her eyes returned to the figure of Arthur as she pieced the puzzle together.

"Ohhhh…" she said in understanding as she heard the changing room door open, turning around she saw one brown eye peeking through the door frame into the hall. The girls eyes looked relieved when she noticed her friend was in the hall, but she quickly hid back behind the door when she saw Arthur's figure against the wall opposite her.

"Well, we can talk later." The other girl said to Arthur, with a threatening tone as she turned around and entered into the changing room where the bunny eared girl was.

"So, Velvet, you want to tell me about your new friend?" The new girl teased

"Co-Coco! I-I was c-changing an-and h-he came in, an-and-" She stuttered her voice low and panicked.

"Calm down, I'm sure he didn't mean to see you changing." Coco said trying to reassure her friend "Plus, judging by the hole he created in the wall outside, I'd say he feels plenty guilty about it."

"B-but he saw m-me n-n.a.k.e.d…" Velvets squeaked out at the end her face turning crimson.

Coco's eyes widened before letting out a chuckle at her teammates embarrassment "Vel, I've seen you n.a.k.e.d, Yatsu's seen you n.a.k.e.d and Fox has seen you n.a.k.e.d. Remember we went to that onsen in Mistral during the break?"

"Th-that's different! Yatsu and Fox are our teammates! I trust them. He is a s-stranger!" Velvet retorted, her stutter still in full effect.

"Well, you better get used to him then, you'll be seeing a lot of him from now on." Coco said surprising the rabbit faunus when she grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the changing room, now fully clothed.

"C-Coco, s-stop!" Velvet pleaded as the door to the changing room was opened and she was ungraciously tossed out landing on her but on the floor, followed by Coco who walked out of the changing room with a happy grin on her face.

"Well, then!" Coco shouted out, as Velvet quickly dashed behind her to try and hide herself from Arthur who now had now left a neat impression of his face on the wall.

"You want to get your head out of the wall so we can talk?" She asked.

Having calmed down enough Arthur slowly turned around, his face red from the constant hammering against the wall. "I am so sorry. I didn't know anyone was changing." He bowed till he was perpendicular to the ground.

"Well, at least you know you did wrong." Coco replied "Though, Velvet here isn't completely innocent in this" she added surprising the diminutive rabbit.

"What do you mean?" Velvet whispered to her

Coco lifted her thumb and pointed to the small plaque on the door that had 'Mens' engraved on it. "Eh?" Velvet muttered in confusion, her face flushing in embarrassment as she buried her face into Coco's back in embarrassment, her ears drooping to the side.

"No, I should have been more careful, I was distracted and I didn't expect anyone else to be here" Arthur said his body still perpendicular to the ground, his hands at his side.

"Nah, it's okay, Velvet'll get over it once she calms down, she's a little body shy you see." Coco responded.

"I'm pretty sure most girls don't like someone barging in on them when they're getting dressed…" Arthur dead panned

"I'm sure they are. But, anyways, you must be Arthur." Coco said alerting Arthur as he raised his body, his back making a loud, popping noise causing him to flinch in pain for a moment.

"Take it you two are the 'Volunteers' Summer said would be putting me through my paces then?" Arthur said leaning backwards to pop his spine even more.

"Yep, Coco Adel, leader of team CFVY and resident fashion queen." She enthusiastically introduced herself before forcefully pry Velvet off her back and putting her in front of her self.

"And this cute little bunny is Velvet Scarlatina, the mascot of my team and your female counterpart!" she sounded even more excited just then.

"My what now?" He questioned in surprise the same expression on Velvet's face

"Oh, I'm the one who gave Summer the gym equipment you wore yesterday" She answered "And Velvet here, is going to be the female model when the photo-shoots starts."

"Wait, What!? I was never told this!" Velvet retorted quickly turning around to Coco in panic.

"Of course not, you're a part of my team, and as your leader I'm ordering you to be my model. Why do you think I gave you the clothes you're wearing now? It's because I need two models, I would have gone for Yatsuhashi or Fox, but when Summer came to me saying she had someone more than willing to test the prototype, Why I just couldn't refuse, especially not for someone with your unique features." She said, a glint in her eyes as she analysed Arthur's body.

"And oh god, she wasn't kidding when she said you had no clothes. Look at these rags! These look like hand me downs! They don't fit you in the slightest!" she walked around Arthur, scanning every inch of his body, sending a shiver down his spine at suddenly feeling as if he was standing n.a.k.e.d and having every inch of his body recorded.

"Hmm… the picture she gave me doesn't do you much justice… I'll have to alter the design a bit… maybe shorts would work… Hmm..." Coco placed her fist against her chin in a thinking pose.

"Does she always do this?" Arthur whispered to Velvet, who quickly ran behind Coco now that she was free, poking her head out from the side, still staring at Arthur with a blush, giving a small and quick nod to him.

Coco's thinking man pose lasted for all of a minute before she exclaimed "Okay! Tomorrow we are going shopping!" with a wide, menacing grin not giving Arthur any room to refute as the hint of 'Refuse and you die' filled the atmosphere surrounding Coco.

"O-okay" Arthur nervously said, not daring to refute her.

"Great! Now, go get dressed, Summer said you have ten minutes before she starts your training, with or without clothes. And I know which I would prefer." Coco said with an eerily similar licentious gaze that Yang had when teasing him as well as a slight purr.

Arthur knowing full well after yesterday that Summer would do that, didn't even realize Coco's 'teasing' as he quickly bolted into the changing room in the hopes he would be fast enough to avoid another session in 'the Chamber'.

"S-she didn't actually say that, did she?" Velvet asked, her voice low and her face flushed as the image of Arthur in his birthday suit crossed her mind, sending a wave of steam out her ears.

"God no, she wouldn't do… that…" she took on another contemplative pose as she trailed off "Scratch that, mom said she was a drill sergeant when training someone, so that is actually a possibility." Coco finished.

"Oh, Coco, Velvet. I didn't see you two come in, did you get here before us?" Summer spoke up from next to the two causing them both to jump in surprise at the sudden voice.

'Oh, good god, she's another Ozpin' Coco commented in her head.

"Y-yeah…" Velvet murmured in a quiet voice.

"Anyways, you two seen Arthur? He still changing?" Summer asked the two

"He's changing" Coco answered "You looking for him?"

"He's taking long, so I'm here to start his training, with or without clothes on." She answered cracking her neck as she walked towards the changing room door.

"Huh?" Ruby muttered her face showing an unending swamp of confusion as she processed her sisters sudden proclamation that their mother could have feelings for her first love.

"Did you just say, mom… has feelings… for Arthur?" she weakly asked taking deep confused breath's as she spoke, Yang took a minute to think of her answer before slowly shrugging her shoulders and saying "Maybe?" with an unsure expression on her face.

"What does that mean!?" Ruby retorted "I mean mom has dad! Why would she have feelings for Arthur!?" Ruby asked in an almost screaming voice.

"I don't know!" Yang replied, sounding just as confused as her sister. "She might, she might not! I don't know! She's been hard to read since we got her back!" she added with a scream of her own.

"Stop screaming!" Ruby shouted.

"I'm not screaming! You are!" Yang retorted with a scream

"No I'm not!" Ruby retorted Yang's retort with another scream

"We are both screaming!" Yang retorted to Ruby's retort with a retort, throwing both her hands out

"Why are we screaming!?" Ruby questioned with a scream.

"Because we are both confused?" Yang calmly answered, her voice returning to a normal octave.

"That makes sense." Ruby said after a moment of contemplation as silence thankfully took hold of the room for a minute.

"But seriously. Doesn't mom have dad? Why would she get feelings for Arthur?" Ruby questioned, much calmer than before.

"Honestly? I don't think it's even that deep, at least not currently" Yang answered "Arthur is a lot like when mom first came home, always putting on a smile but deep down he's hiding his pain. And I think that's what's getting to her, he reminds her of herself." Her voice now solemn and low.

Ruby sat down on the bed next to Yang as she realized that Arthur was indeed a lot like their mother when it came to his pain, even if he did tell them about it, he doesn't let it out in the open for others to see.

"What do we do then? What about dad?" Ruby asked.

"I think we just let things play out for now. For all we know mom is doing this to help ease her own mind. And dad would always choose her happiness over his own. Plus, judging by how ms. Cypress has been looking at him the last few years, I would say he has a pretty good alternative." Yang added with a smirk

"Really? We don't even know and you already have dad set with someone else?" Ruby cast a judgemental glance to her sister.

"What!? Ms. Cypress is great, wasn't she the one who helped you make your scythe?" Yang argued

"T-that has nothing to do with dad! Leave Crescent out of this!" Ruby retorted "E-even if I really do like ms. Cypress…" her voice lowered as she began contemplating what her sister said. Remembering the shy looks that ms. Cypress would send her father's way whenever they were in the same room. She also remembered the awkward atmosphere that would envelop the room when they spoke with each other, both stuttering like crazy.

"See! Even you think they work!" Yang said triumphantly

"Why is life so complicated…" w.h.i.n.ed Ruby as she fell backwards onto the bed

"I know" Yang agreed also falling back onto the bed.

"This is a really good bed…" Ruby commented, not getting a response from her sister "Yang?" she asked turning her head to the side "And, she's asleep…" a light snore filled the room once again.

Soon a light and rhythmic 'Fuu' joined in as well, once again filling the room with the sounds of a sleep.
