Mopsa sighed as he paced in her living room as Gale and Zephyr stared at her, wondering what they were doing here as Mopsa murmured to herself.

"Mopsa explains why we are here, and you are pacing, as it is quite irritating?" Gale remarked.

Mopsa stopped as she sat down, "Sorry, it is just I am trying to think about what to do this year for the festival of first snow? I need the two of you as I wish to have you two set off the first firework of the evening, but at the same time, I want you two to enjoy the night?"

Zephyr and Gale narrowed their eye, "Mopsa, what is your plan for us and way?" They spoke in unison.

Mopsa irked as she looked at them, "Well, my goal is for the two of you to get closer to the point that you will have each other's back no matter what. I also want the Gold Heart and Grand Dale relations in better terms after the war. You see, Gold Heart and Grand Dale don't have the greatest relation's since three crowns back." Mopsa ginned uncomfortably.

Gale raised his brow as he looked at Zephyr, who looked away, "Wait, you mean that war between the two nations could break out if Zephyr and I don't marry?"

Mopsa nodded, "Yes, right now, the relations are good, but if you two don't tie the knot, the council might request war and have Zero placed on the throne with lies told to him where you killed Zephyr. So, by having you two married before this can happen might be the best option. So I have been doing what I can because the current King, Orville, is entirely against you two even being together. Since the town is closed off until the new year for our festivals form tourists. My plan can go off without a hitch. As long as King Orville is kept out of the loop."

Zephyr looked at Mopsa, "So when my uncle came, you told everyone to keep our relationship, hush-hush?" Mopsa nodded as she looked at her hands, "I can see why now you act weird about us when you send us off as our relationship grows and sending us to the festivals alone together but what are you going to do if you plan fails and we break up?"

Mops closed her eyes as her face became grim, "Well, then we don't say a thing, but I was hoping that the Dragons Calm to be your wedding day, but if that is to soon, then you can change it. But remember. Every Goold Hreatdanian wants the bad blood between the two countries to end as we need to expand our trades and our business beyond the Spade Dominion, and Inroar. Grand Dale is a powerful country that has crops year-round, and we are limited. By gaining that relation, our people will not starve outside the seasonal cities."

Zephyr and Gale looked at each other, "We will talk over this, you should head off and make sure the festival goes alright. We will have our answer before the first firework set off. As we will choose the firework for our answer." Zephyr ensured Mopsa

Mopsa nodded as she got up and left the house. Gale turned to Zephyr as he stared into her eyes, "Is what she said true?"

Zephyr nodded as she looked into his eyes, "Yes, Gold heart suffers during the winter months like the last two months longer than the southern countries. As well as the soil here is not as fertile with the constant setbacks. Summerwind is the poly pace where our wheat comes from, and Fallmist grows our fruit. Springrain cannot grow anything, and WInterstorm can only grow herds that are common during winter months. I can see where Mopsa is coming from. But at the same time, my uncle might see you and Grand Dale as a threat during the alliance." Zephyr closed her eyes and could feel ready to cry in pain.

Gale pulled her closer as he hugged her tight. "I see, I will go with Mopsa's plan if you want as well. On Jura first, we will marry. I think for our countries relationsh.i.p.s, and beyond I think it is the best option. Besides, I cannot think of anyone else to marry. I have met thousands of women, but none come close to you." Gale smiled as she looked up at him. "It might have been a short time since we meet, but I looked up what the Coran stone was and found out it can help tow people that are meant to be with to find each other. So, if you are up to it. Would you marry me?"

Zephyr looked into Gale's eyes as she could tell he was serious. "I think that would be nice, but we will keep it a secret until after the war. Once that has ended, I will return with you to the Grand Dale without my brother. I will tell him as he deserves to know when we leave. Our marriage will be both one of love and political relations. But yet, I feel this will help both countries in the long run."

Gale nodded as he let her go before looked over to the table, "Now which firework should we send off for our answer. I think the griffon with the sword might be the best answer as it represents both countries."

Zephyr shook her head, "No, that would sound more like a declaration of war. Wait, I think the Dragon and Wolf might be the best?"

Gale raised his brow as he looked at her, "Why is that?"

Zephyr smiled as she looked over at Nevada and Thunderhead. "Them. They represent us, as they are our animal partners." Zephyr continued to smile as she looked at Gale. "I think it will be perfect."

Gale smiled as he shook his head, "Very well then. You know Mopsa is going to jump for joy once she finds out."

Zephyr grinned as she looked back at the papers, "I know, but our decision is final. As of now, we are engaged, and our wedding is only a short time from now. I think that it feels rushed, but it is for the best."

Gale grabbed the papers as he got up, "Yet until the war is over, we shall make a vow to never sleep together or tell anyone. As to not make mistakes, like getting you pregnant."

Zephyr nodded as she got up and walked over to the door and waited for Gale. Gale walked over as he kissed before they left for the festival. Taking Nevada and Thunderhead with them, as they went.

Mopsa waited as she bit her nails. Her adviser sighed as she looked over to see Gale and Zephyr walk over to the firework distributer. The adviser smiled as they nudged in the side Mopsa and pointed at Gale and Zephyr. Mopsa sighed in relief as they walked over to her next.

"So, what is your answer?" Mopsa prodded.

Gale smiled as he put his finger over his lips, "That is our secret, but you will know once we launch our fireworks."

Mopsa w.h.i.n.ed as she watched them hand over their fireworks to the technicians. Zephyr grinned as she and Gale walked back to Mopsa as she readied herself for her speech. Gale felt nervous as Mopsa started her announcement. Zephyr grabbed him y the arm as the moment arrived.

Mopsa asked for the technician to light the show, and the first set shot into the air. Mopsa held her breath as they went off. Everyone screamed in joy as they exploded. Mopsa raised her brow, trying to understand Gale and Zephyr's choices as the other fireworks went off.

The show lasted for two hours before the last fireworks went off as they were the same as the first. Mopsa waved to everyone as Gale and Zephyr waited for her to finish. Mopsa walked over as they glanced at each other.

"So, the wolf and dragon? I don't understand? Why those two?" Mopsa crossed her arms as she looked at the two of them.

Gale smiled as he looked at Mopsa, "We decided to go with your plan. We know it is rushing it, but we are making vows to not tell anyone until after the war." Gale explained.

"Plus, we are also going to vow not to sleep in the same bed or room until then as well. We will be telling our friends as soon as Demora and the Faremin Kingdom are dealt with." Zephyr added as she grabbed Gale's hand. "So, on Dragon's Calm, we will have the wedding. after that, we will have to figure out our next plan of action."

Mopsa smiled in glee before shaking her head, "Well, I know one thing. Gale, do you remember Cedric?"

Gale nodded as he raised his brow. "Yes, why?"

Mopsa expression darkened as she looked at them, "Well, Cedric has asked the King for you two to come to the capital after the new year. I will set the travel date for the optimal weather, and you two will head there. Once there, King Orville will tell you what he needs of you. Until then, all I know is that Cedric is involved."

Gale turned to Zephyr as they began to worry about the next steps.
