Lovell ran down the old buildings, his heart racing as he tried to figure out what was going on. He felt Hunter was in destress with each time their swords clashed. Lovell was able to find a spot to rest as he looked around to see how far he was from his friends. They were out of site, Lovell sighed as he then looked to see where Hunter was. He could see that Hunter was searching to his left and was gripping his blade tight. Lovell could see the stress filling his face.

"Why are you doing this, Hunter. You're not like them, just like I am?"

"You know nothing about me, Lovell. Nothing!" Hunter listened to where Lovell had spoken.

Lovell closed his eyes as he could feel the light within Hunter was clouded. "You know that the Faremin has a place here, but I want to stop this war. This six-million-year long war between my family and Demora. If we work together, we might find some common grounds?"

Hunter turned to Lovell's voice and threw a fireball towards him. Lovell teleported away as the attack barreled towards him. Hunter turned to strike Lovell hitting him along the left side cutting deep, but Lovell was able to move out of the way.

Lovell could feel his magic was gone knowing that if he were struck again, he would die. Lovell jumped up onto the buildings with Hunter in pursuit.

Kyle could hear the sound of Hunters fire blasts as he began to fight Vann's spell. Knowing that the only way to stop this was to get out of Vann's grip. Vann smiled as he listened in glee. Kito stood there cringing as he held Lovell's friends captive.

Luna moved closer to Kito. "Please, Kito. Let me out? I know this is hard on you knowing that the one you love will suffer, but I am in the same place as you."

Kito glared at her. "You know nothing! Nothing it's all because of you that this all started!"

Luna pulled her hands close to her c.h.e.s.t. "I do not know that for sure since with every five reincarnations, I forget everything, but I do know what love is, and for me, that person is Lovell. Something is happening, and I can feel the spell he places on himself and me has faded." Kito's face softened as he listened to her words. "I know that Demora is angry, and yet I do not know for sure. If Lovell dies, so shall the world!"

Kito shook his head, knowing that she was telling the truth. He then turned to Vann. His thoughts became apparent as he cast a spell to release Kyle from his bindings.

Vann looked over at him, as Kyle dashed off to Hunter and Lovell. "Now, why would you do that?"

Kito closed his eyes before looking to the battlegrounds of Lovell and Hunter. "We shall let fate decide this fight. If my brother dies…then it was meant to be. But if he lives, then he lives?"

Vann growled at him. "Very well, we shall see the outcome of this fight?"

Lovell blocked Hunter's attack as Kyle rushed over. Kyle screaming at them to stop, but both did not. Lovell jumped back as he charged Hunter. Kyle went to stay the blow when Lovell's blade pierced Kyle's heart. Lovell's eyes widen in horror as he watched Kyle's face fill with fear. Hunter watched in horror as he grew in anger.

Lovell pulled his blade back as Hunter charged at him. Lovell forced to leave Kyle's lifeless corpse to fall to the ground. He could hear Vann begin too laugh maniacally as Hunter attack him with rage.

Lovell could only block Hunters attacks as he needs to find a way to calm Hunter down. Hunter struck fast and hard, not letting Lovell have any openings for attack. Lovell desperately trying to stop him and to push him back.

Luna could see the come into view. "Kito please, I can stop this madness!"

Kito clenched his teeth, weakening the barrier slightly, allowing Luna to escape. Kito went to stop her but had to refocus on the barrier as Fang tried to get out.

Lovell began to remember Morris and his final moments. 'Why am I remembering that day?' Lovell tried to figure out what his inner thought was thinking then remembered how Morris affected Hunter and how he embraced him. Lovell jumped back, giving himself some room as Hunter began to charge at him. Lovell raised his blade at Hunter, but as Hunter drew closer, Lovell let go of his weapon and allowed Hunter to pierce his heart. Lovell then wrapped his arms around Hunter, forcing him to struggle.

"Hunter, listen to me! This was all apart of his plan! You and Kyle were both to die! That fox never was going to let you, or Kyle leave here alive!"

Hunter stopped as he began to cry. Lovell began to well up as he closed his eyes. Hunter looked down at his blade, seeing that it was in Lovell's c.h.e.s.t.

"I-I…"

"Hunter, I am going to say this here, and now, Kyle wanted me to save you, and as I thought over how must you looked like me, I began to think of you as a brother." Hunter felt a jolt run through him as Lovell's words reached him. "I want you to be part of my family since you are my family. Clone or not. You are my brother, and that will never change."

Lovell let Hunter go as his blade release for his body. Lovell winced in pain as he stood there, then they turned to Vann. Luna stopped as she saw Lovell was fine. Vann stopped to stare at them as they stood beside each other. Fang and the other held in shock at how powerful Lovell's willpower was.

Kito became shocked at the fact that Lovell was able to save Hunter from his rage. Vann ran up to him and teleported them away.

Kito turned to Vann, who was smiling. "What happened? I thought that Lovell had to die?" Vann walked over to the carriage as Kito chased him. "Vann!"
