An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

"Did my mother loved him back?" Anna's question made Luyisa stumble for words.

"I never knew, Anna!!! She was so distinct from any normal teenage girls. She was all the same to everyone, lovable, kind and caring. That must be the reason, Clayton never said how he felt for her."

"Auntie! I wish to meet Uncle Clayton! I want to talk to him." Anna's heart craved to meet this one person who once was too close to her mother, who loved and cherished her mother as his whole world.

Anna knew well that Clayton was unmarried; Is he stayed unmarried because of her mother?

'Did he search for my mother when he disappeared from the city for four months?'

One question after another popped in Anna's head. Luyisa who was wavering earlier was stunned by Anna's request. "Anna! That's impossible! Meeting him equals blowing away his cover. He still needs to work with the moles in the company who was aiding BMF corporation.

He most definitely would kill me if I act out irrationally by bringing you to meet him. Everyone knew that Clayton despises the whole Symonds family; he openly challenged Edward back then. I am not taking you anywhere especially to that freak.

'Is that how much my mother-in-law was afraid of this one Uncle. Quite interesting! I better sneak to find a way to catch up with him.'

"Ok, Enough of your interrogation. Go and get ready! We are running late... I have answered enough of your rapid fire round questions. I Want some fresh air... What are you looking at... Keep moving... " Luyisa shooed her daughter-in-law worried what damn request she would post again.

Anna quickened her actions and walked to her room to pack things, as she was going to stay for the first time in her aunt's home, she gathered all the necessities.

Luyisa sighed heavily when she heard a knock on the door, She called to come in. Anna's bodyguard entered the room and reported her that Shane was back and he was resting in his room.

"Oh..." Is that all she said, Anna's guard waited for her call. Luyisa momentarily paused for a minute as she c.a.r.e.s.sed her temples and then she noted in a light tone, "You failed to report me many a matter, Why didn't you inform me that they are living in separate rooms and... how did Anna meet up this guy in security footage."

Luyisa fixated her gaze on the guard who was trembling silently inside, How could he say that it was Shane's warning to not let any of their personal information to be revealed to his mother?

"Is my son playing a trick with me?" That was way too direct questions, how could he answer it.

Luyisa learned the truth from his silence, 'I am disappointed, Shane! Really disappointed!'

Once Anna packed the bags, she strolled out of the room and found that the living room was empty where did she go.

Her guard came in to escort Anna to the car, "But where is Aunt Luyi?"

"Madam was having a small talk with Mr. Shane, She asked me to escort you first and in a short time, she would come to accompany you." Her guard answered her politely.

"Shane is back, Why didn't you tell me. When did he come back." Anna turned to walk upstairs.

"Madam! It would be inappropriate for you to go there right now. Madam Luyisa in particular asked me to escort you first, Please follow me." Her guard took the luggage and waited for her to follow him.

Anna gulped heavily. 'Did she find out everything; why didn't she ask me anything then?'

Anna stood there not moving an inch worried sick of what was happening inside.
