An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Lulu jerked as she heard Anna's accusation, slightly tilting her head, Lulu viewed the menacing tiny frame covering on the ground. A slight chuckle escaped her mouth in humor.

Lulu knelt down beside Anna, and lowering her voice she muttered so that only two of them could hear, "Sl*t, you are smarter than I thought. So what if I framed your mother, everyone knew how intimate they both were."

"Liar!" Anna looked up in Lulu's eyes and screamed to vent her anger out. "My mother was invariably kind to everyone."

Lulu shook her head in amus.e.m.e.nt, "So what?! She was already dead. But I must agree with you on one thing. If Kathy was alive, Edward would never have married me." When the sentence get out of Lulu's mouth, her face was dark with a cold grimace.

She sighed and continued, "Let the past go rest in peace... Anna! I offer you an excellent opportunity for your survival. If you cooperate with me, I will turn the whole mess against you into your favor."

"Favor?! Whose favor are you talking about exactly?"

"You s**t! You really have learned to speak a lot? Didn't you see the media and newspapers? People are calling you a v**en and your life outside this house will be like hellfire for you."

"I am not scared of the rumors, and I know who I am, and I damn don't care about proving it to anyone. Trust me, I will never bend for your demands like before."

Lulu smiled sarcastically at Anna, "Would you say the same, if I threaten you with your mother's reputation? Have you ever thought, What if, I post these photographs online with a headline 'Like Mother, Like daughter.'"

Lulu extended her hands on both sides spreading her fingers ill.u.s.trating the last sentence with weight.

"YOU!" Anna launched on Lulu in fierce and grabbed Lulu's throat causing her to choke for air. On the other hand, Lulu who didn't expect the tame girl like Anna to go violent palpitated by the sudden attack.

"Mother!!!" Chris who was eavesdropping their conversation hiding behind the door shouted at once in fright when he saw Anna crushing his mother's throat. He ran to the living room shouting even more, "Father! Father!!"

Anna loosened her grip on Lulu's throat when she heard Chris's scream. Lulu pushed Anna off further and she stumbled on her way to grab a chair to sit.

Edward rushed to the study room and witnessed Lulu was gasping for air. Lulu at once grabbed his hands and spoke in a hurry while gasping, "She is trying to kill me. Save me, Edward! Save me!"

"I told her the truth about her mother and she sprang upon me attacking like a beast. She even accused us of having an illegal relationship even before we got married."

Lulu twisted words did the magic as she expected. Edward locked Anna in one of the unopened room for years in the attic. The entire place was overfilled with dust and spider web, Anna lay quietly in the dusted floor unsure what was happening outside.

Quarter past eleven in the morning, at Clayton's office room.

Luyisa hastily entered Clayton's room to report what precisely happened when she reached Symonds residence, "I could not even get past the gates, they have even filed an assault case against Shane, and furthermore they have reported that I deceived Anna to release an online statement. They used all the video records as evidence against us to prosecute our entire family."

When Luyisa was whimpering in distress, Clayton disregarded the little game planted by Luyisa and Edward, "Anna's final statement on the prosecution day is enough to close the case. I want Anna to get out of that damned place, is there any other way?"

Luyisa thought, 'Is his whole world revolve only around Anna. What about us, our whole Corporation was crumbling. When the prosecution day arrive, we would have long perished.'

Exactly by then, a flash news appeared on the big screen conforming Luyisa statement credibility.

When both of them watching the broadcast.

On bottom of the TV screen, there was one more news, "A serious bomb blast in the border of the country S. Number of deceased was not yet confirmed."

This country S was a rival country to their motherland because of the constant border power struggle. The proximity of the blast was also very close to their country.

Yet the most important news was suppressed by Anna's recent scandal story.

Out of nowhere, Clayton roared, "This bas**rds! What were they thinking! M**herf****r."

Clayton continued to curse non-stop and took out his phone to dial a number as he rushed out of the room.

"What just happened?!" Luyisa's complain fell to the empty room. She stood rooted in the place in stupor.
