Once Clayton rushed out of the office room, his usual cool composure was not visible anywhere, his face was clouded with one of anxiety and his fingers trembled slightly when he extracted his personal phone out of his coat pocket.

This peculiar man was one of a kind, Even if the sky fell apart and the earth crust turned upside down, he would shake it off as if nothing happened. But presently his whole body was drenched in sweat and his legs were wobbly.

Clayton entered a set of numbers on his phone which he had memorized by heart by now. He would never forget this one particular private number, and he would say it with no obstacle even when asked in dreams.

When Clayton dialed this distinct private number it didn't get through. He tried many a method to contact the source but he failed each time. His fear started to build up.

He picked up his walking pace and simultaneously called his personal assistant, "Contact QUI news channel and gather all the information about the bomb blast in country S. Also, do arrange my personal plane to take me to Country S."

Luyisa who exited the room heard Clayton hasty ordering voice around the corner, and she turned to observe the disappearing figure of Clayton, "What?! Is he leaving the country at this crucial moment? Did he just forget the board meeting on Monday morning, there was just a day gap for that decision-making meeting for the new CEO. Mad man!"

When Clayton reached the parking lot, he received a message from his personal assistant about the time and location of the bomb blast.

As Clayton spelled the name, He instantly dialed her private number, and it did get through just in one ring.

Aaliyah sighed heavily, "Mr.Clayton! Goodness, you called me in time. Godmother is gravely injured, I am on my way to country S. And I am sorry, I could not continue with the investigation about the assassin who tried to slaughter Anna any further."

Clayton Interrupted her, "Did you just say, 'Kathy is injured'?"

"Yes, Mr. Clayton! Godmother is injured! One of her legs was amputated and she might even..." Aaliyah's voice trailed off, she could not continue with her prognosis any further.

Aaliyah collected herself and answered, "The bomb exploded when Godmother was on her way to receive the new refugees to the camp."
