Anna muttered, "It does not make any sense."

As Anna continued to protest, Shane's eyebrows contracted. A while before on his way to the hospital, Shane thought multiple ways to apologize to Anna for what he did back in NY and resolve the conflict between them once for all. But now it appeared impossible.

When Shane saw Jacob's video, he was outraged and he tried to contact Jacob countless times to confront him straight, although the call never got through. In the end, Shane felt that he wronged Anna for what she did not do.

But to the contradiction, this stupid stubborn girl is still trying to defend that bloodsucker.

Shane felt angst as he spoke, "Mother! You better stay with Anna and take care of her. I have to go to the office for aiding dad to clear all the clause in the company."

Anna sat up, "Wait! I don't want to stay here either. I want to get back home too."

Anna's gaze fell on Luyisa for approval. Luyisa, in turn, looked at Shane.

Shane frowned as he answered domineeringly, "I don't think so, You still need few days rest. It would be better for you to stay in the hospital, what if you had another panic attack."

Even though Anna wanted to say it out loud. In front of Shane's domineering presence, she felt suppressed and the words never came out.

To ease the tension building up, Luyisa suggested, "Let us ask Doctor's advice. Okay!"

The tall man with whom Shane had a glaring contest an hour ago sat impatiently in the waiting area.

Finally, The masked man saw for what he was waiting for. Anna walked out of the elevator tagging along with Shane and Luyisa. The man was stationed at a far distance from Anna, and he stood up high to peer at her like an X-ray machine. He disregarded the people around him gaping at his hidden alluring cast.

Shane told Anna and his mother to wait in the waiting area as he walked to the receptionist to pay the bill and get the copy of medical doc.u.ments from the receptionist.

The masked tall man heart fluttered as Anna walked towards him. She just burst past him to take an empty seat behind him. He closed his eyes to feel her presence, and he further appeared totally relaxed by the moment she crossed him.

He sat back in the chair and relaxed. Consequently, he overheard Anna's conversation with her aunt.

"Aunt! I want to tell you an important thing. I could not speak earlier as Shane was there in the ward. The photos that were used against me to blackmail involves mother and godfather. Those photos are not fake but it was all fabricated just like mine.

What Jacob said was all lie. How could he forge it when it was all old. Those pictures are all pretty old." Anna continued to persuade her aunt merely to fail in the end.

Luyisa stopped Anna, "I don't care whether it was true or not. What matters the most was, all the predicaments was over.

First, your reputation was saved and Shane name was cleared.

Second, Both our corporation was saved as BMF Corporation retreated the aggressive phase.

Third, Lulu can never blackmail you. Those photos are already confiscated and she has also pressed charges for that.

Furthermore, I'll assure you one thing that we will not press charges against Jacob just for the sake of the video.

Actually... The only thing that bothers me right now is, 'Did Mr. Jacob Shaw really fancied you and he even d.e.s.i.r.ed to marry you?"

The masked man quietly listened to their small talk and his ears perked up a little at the ending line of Luyisa.

Anna interjected, "That was way too much! Creepy too... Why would Mr. Shaw fancy a married woman? He could get plenty of fresh fish with a snap of his fingers. What was that dumbo was thinking while posting the video. Mr. Shaw would tear him apart, I wonder whether he was safe or not."

The masked man in front of Anna smiled lightly, 'Here I am... safe! Yeah! He indeed wanted to marry you.'

"Anna! Your misunderstanding with Shane just cleared, you better don't mention about Jacob in front of Shane." Luyisa got closer to Anna as she whispered, "He gets jealous of him!"
