An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Luyisa locked her gaze at Anna as she contemplated whether or not to ask Anna about the question that bothers her a lot recently. With a slight wavering, Luyisa nevertheless asked Anna, "Anna do you like that man?"

"Ahh..." Anna struck stunned by the question as same as Jacob who was sitting in front of her.

This time Luyisa posted the question even more boldly, "Anna! I am asking you, do you like that man who saved you in the club and also your reputation."

Luyisa was no stupid to see through why Jacob continuously helping Anna. Anna's clarification made it even clear that he was purposefully taking the blame on his head to back Anna.

His video is a piece of clear evidence that he was closely watching every movement that relates to Anna. It was more like he was watching Anna every second.

Certainly, Luyisa did not speak her perceptions loud. Instead, she wanted to know what Anna was holding in her mind.

Anna fl.u.s.tered as she replied in anxiety, "Aunt! What are you asking? How would I think about liking other men when I am married to Shane. You know very well how much Shane meant to me, I like Shane from my youth. What made you think that I would like someone other than Shane?"

Luyisa smiled at Anna's fl.u.s.tered red face, "I am sorry! I didn't intend to doubt you. I want to make sure that you are married in good terms and not because of some pressure from me or anything. Please don't force yourself into a relationship that makes you unhappy.

I never thought of you as my daughter-in-law but my own daughter. If you want to break your marriage with Shane, I will never judge you, and I'll sure stand in your side to support you."

Anna caught Luyisa's hand to stop her. While Jacob, on the other hand, was on the edge of his seat and anticipated in wait as if it was his final end verdict. Right now, every single entity of his life revolved around Anna's answer.

If she even stagger a tiny bit, Jacob was ready to hold his station firm. If she says she want to divorce Shane, He would readily pull her arms to hold her tight in his embrace with not sparing a glance at the people who watch them.

Jacob finally heard Anna's soft but firm voice, "Aunt! I love only Shane, don't you doubt it."

Jacob's last hope shattered into a tiny fragment which can never be mend together, He stood up solemnly. Without sparing a single glance back, he walked ahead absent-mindedly.

Shane who was walking towards the waiting room noticed the masked man walking past him, and his intuition urged him to stop that man.

In the end, Shane restricted his aching intuition and stepped ahead to fetch his companion.

Jacob stepped out of the hospital. He walked in the crowded street yet his whole world remained empty. He got no place to return to and no families to ask for comfort. His father final parting resolute statements and his sister continuous teary sound echoed in his eardrums.

'You are no son of mine, and I disown you this instant.'

'Father! Please forgive little brother this once. I will never let this happen again...'

'Get out of my sight. You can never say that you belong to the Shaw family, You are no more Shaw.'

As the figments of the incident resonated heavily in his memory, Jacob's feet went numb, and he could barely walk. He picked up his only belonging that he kept in his pocket. It was a credit card his sister forcefully stuffed in his hands when he stepped out of the hotel room.

When Jacob walked past a train station he stopped and considered for a while. He apprehended his paws could not drag him any longer. Thus he strolled to the ticket counter and bought a ticket to a random destination, and ascended the lonely compartment with a b.a.r.e number of people in it.

Jacob took a seat far from any human interruption. His whole body ached but not more than his heart. He closed his eyes and thought over what all transpired a few hours ago.

Once Jacob finished the live post, he slammed his phone on the ground without thinking for a second. There goes all the remaining evidence that Anna was involved with him.

All the photos of Anna, her calls and messages everything was gone. He even took care of the memory card and the broken pieces. There was no way that anyone can revert back what was done.

He undid the tie, ripped open his shirt and threw the coat aside. Only then he started thinking about what could happen to BMF corporation because of this post.

Father would never forgive him and Jacob could never show his face as an heir of BMF corporation in future. Worst of all, the corporation would crumble closest to nothing as he already pulled all the resources from his corporation to buy shares.
