An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Chapter 92 - No More Jacob Shaw, It's Only Jacob (2)

'The corporation would crumble closest to nothing, What have I done?'

The train sped past, embracing new passengers at each stop. While Jacob who sat on the extreme end of the compartment held zero reception to the crowd. His mind was loaded with many a cliche.

Delusional thoughts started pouring in his cerebrum, Jacob heard Esther cry, "Jacob! What have you done? Did you ever think about your parents and me? All our hard work to build this Corporation

and our hard-earned money would dissipate, We might even go homeless.

Jacob! Where are you running now? Father has already on his way to the hotel. Stop it, Jacob!

Even at this ruined state of us, you do still run to the girl who doesn't love you. But what about us, Jacob? The people who love you, your family. We are in a ruined state too, can't you see?"

Jacob heard a superimposed voice of his father which suppressed his sister cry, "You damn unfilial boy! I wish you never were born.

You are a selfish adamant man! I had enough of your outrageous activity, this should be the last day I ever see you again in my life.

I disown you as my son, and you can never return to Shaw family."

The delusional voice changed once again, presently it was his sister call, "Jacob, have this! It is a credit card I have saved for you, just in case.

Jacob! Call me, Will you?"

In the end, Jacob heard a fragile voice. He instantly cringed as he held his head within his palms, the voice affirmed, "I love only Shane."

Jacob entire body started shivering vigorously. Little did he regarded that the compartment was suffocating with crowds.

He screamed to the top of the lungs to chase away the delusions yet it clung to him with no intention of settling down.

People around him got scared of his sudden outburst, and they propelled far away from him. Jacob got up from his seat and pushed fast out of the area and climbed down in the next station.

Jacob marched fast as if running from someone who was chasing him madly, his pace quickened every passing minute. While taking a turn, he stumbled by a stone laid on the road.

It actually was not a well-kept road rather it was little shabby with little pebbles on the roadside. Jacob looked around and observed that the place he had just reached was far out of the city. How far has he traveled?

He entered into the only well-organized shop in the surrounding and walked to the counter to ask the woman about the place where he was.

The woman on the counter regarded the dishelved yet a good looking man. She seemed like a woman in her thirties, and she greeted him friendly, "Welcome to Seno! Are you looking for goods for hiking?"

"I am sorry! May I know the name of this place? I just got down in the wrong station."

"Ohhh! You are in the most beautiful hiking area filled with mountains and rivers. But, I must warn you, this is also the most dangerous area of this nation. You are in the place closest to the border of Country S."

The woman in the counter pointed at a mountain and continued, "If you get across that mountain, you can reach country S. Except it was impossible as it was filled with military camps and death traps. No one would dare go near there!"

Jacob stared at the woman, 'Is this necessary for me to know? I already feel suicidal, it turns out that heaven is hinting me to die. Whatever!'

Jacob gaze subsequently fell on a backpack behind her, he spelled, "Durable Hiking Backpack. Do you accept cards?"

She smiled broadly, "Yes, Of course!"

And a tiny bit of surmise caused her to ask him, "But have you not just got down in the wrong station. Don't you need to go back?"

Jacob replied, "No! I have got down in the right place. Can you please show me more of new gadget available here for hiking?"

"Sure! Sure!! Here, this is the best survival kit. you can never find a one like this any where but it was a bit costly."

Jacob smiled at the woman who was bargaining like an old aunt, "Mmm... I am fine with it. As long as the money in the card last, I will purchase everything I need."

"Ahh... Don't worry! I will give you a special discount. Do you like to take a look at the hanging tent? It would be beneficial! Easy to fold, Light-weighted, Waterproof and cold resistance. You can avoid insect bites and wild animals attack at night. It is the best one, and it can endure the weight of two people."

Jacob smile spread on listening to the woman marketing tactics, "You are pretty good at marketing. Maybe in the future, If at all I set up a company, I will poach you for sure."

"Ahh... You can't poach me, This is our family business and I am more loyal to them. I will never do a thing that would affect our hand down business from our grandparents."

Jacob smiled thoughtfully. 'Loyal!!! Then I was a traitor, ain't I?'
