James murmured as he slowly moved his fingers toward the stone but there was no one to answer his question, so he hesitated for a brief moment before taking the stone.

At this precise moment the rainbow light emitted by the stone disappeared before repairing blinding James whose mind was as if reduced to billions of fragments, the world before his eyes was divided into an incalculable number of pieces that were as if superimposed like a stack of sheets of paper piled up.

He no longer felt the weight of his body, his mind had reached a terrifying analytical level that cannot be described.

Strange images and even stranger sensations disturbed his senses, he had completely disappeared from the room and was floating in the void surrounded by an infinity of stars so gigantic that the very size of our universe if it could be determined would be laughable.

In a time shorter than even the smallest possible unit, hundreds of billions of these gargantuan stars disappeared and in an infinitely shorter time reappeared.

Every millisecond he crossed distances that could not be described by any words, crossing worlds stranger than the others in a state of trance, but suddenly he felt an unbearable pain, the "world" around him collapsed into fragments like a broken nirror and he fell back into his room in a state of amazement.

All this lasted only a moment, a moment that transcended the concept of time itself.

He lay stunned on the ground for a long moment before saying with an absent and captive look.

"What just happened?"

What he had just experienced could not be described with any, if one word was enough to describe what he experienced it would be divine.

Simply divine.

Tears began to fall from his eyes as he turned his head toward the ceiling.

At that moment he felt like an amoeba that had just experienced the world for a brief moment with the eyes and perception of a human.

James got up with a bewildered look on his face before sitting down on his bed while putting the stone back in his pocket.

He stared into space for nearly ten hours like a madman before sighing and shaking his head.

He remained in a state of mediation for nearly three days before reopening his eyes and letting out a deep breath.

He stood up and did some stretching before bringing up his stats.

All the stress accumulated in the world of HxH disappeared in a flash, he suddenly felt like laughing out loud and rolling on the floor with joy.

He looked at every statistic to make sure his senses weren't playing tricks on him before sighing.

"How powerful Yupi's stats must have been for me to improve so much with his n'en, he must have been a creature of at least 4 star rank.

"But my sense stats had already increased since my resurrection, Yupi's nen only increased it slightly."

He then looked at the window in front of him with a thoughtful look before pressing the dexterity buŧŧon twice in a row making 70000 points disappear in an instant, he was then enveloped in lightning for a brief moment before pushing a deep sigh of comfort then he pressed twice on the "strength" buŧŧon.

He looked at his remaining points with a thoughtful look and then slowly shook his head.

"It would be too unwise to pass the test to become a three-star creature."

His Sense and Constitution stats were almost at the limit of the two star rank, if he increased them he would undoubtedly be forced to undergo the same ordeal with hellish difficulty as in FMA.

He then pressed the (+) buŧŧon in front of Dexterity making his body reach a new level of power.
