Chapter 111 - 3: Red coins District

The red coins district, one of the places with the most criminals on the human territory.

James carrying a backpack walked quietly through the wide streets of this galaxy-wide known neighborhood.

This district was the business district or black market and belonged to one of the seven rulers of DNS, the ruler Waxing Gibbous..

Umbertown was one of the seven largest cities on the planet and had a terrifying number of mercenaries, ȧssassins and thieves.

My planet was not part of the United States of the Earth or any kind of galactic federation.

It was therefore not subject to the law of any government in any way and was completely autonomous.

The planet was ruled by seven people with unknown identities who were called the seven rulers.

Rumor had it that they were extremely powerful travelers from different races, their authority was unquestionable on the planet and although only a few people had seen them, no one dared to challenge their authority because those who tried would die in an extremely horrible and cruel way without any resistance to their power.

Although DNS was a planet of criminals, it remained orderly thanks to the seven rulers, but their real authority did not stop at their personal forces, they all had a powerful army and a great economic influence on the underworld of the whole galaxy.

They were feared and dominated the planet.

But their main means of control over the planet was through contracts.

The planet had the largest mercenary organization in the galaxy, or rather one of the largest criminal organizations in the galaxy established in DNS.

"Point sale at only 120% of the price of Survival Word, opportunity not to be missed!"

"We are looking for sensory specialist members with at least 5 stats points for a one star mission, very well paid mission...."

"For a better life come join the White sun mercenary group, health insurance, paid vacations and a salary ...."

James walking through the neighborhood was surprised by the roadside stalls supplied with all kinds of products and mercenaries trying to recruit new faces.

And the further he went in the neighborhood the more recruiters he met, stals but also garages, hacker groups offering their services and even distributing flyers but what made him speechless was the ȧssassins who had posters advertising such as:

"Julien, for a quick and smooth ȧssassination! Promotion of -10% until December 23 ..."

"Sniper Lu Tian, your enemy's head hole in a flash!.."

"Dieudonné, a good enemy is a stuffed enemy! Stuffing without cost..."

"What crazy planet have I fallen on?" .

James silently walked through the crowded streets and arrived dozens of minutes later in front of an imposing wooden building with an East Asian architecture, the building was almost comparable in size to the Travler Administration.

He went inside passing people wearing all kinds of fantasy outfits such as battle suits, masks or even knight armors or armors from the Sangoku era.

Not to mention the aliens of various races, the strange people around him almost made James think he was in a mental institution.

James saw the sign "Registration Desk" and joined the queue waiting patiently for his turn.

But more than an hour passed and the man was still drinking his coffee without even looking at the people in the queue, finally fed up with the wait the man in the front row of the queue hit the table hard and lifted the bald man behind the desk by the collar.

"Who the fuċk do you think you are! This is my fuċkɨnġ trick! Sign me before I tear you to shreds!"

"Please put me down sir."

The bald man said slowly to his attacker while looking him in the eyes which made the man tremble with anger.

The man raised his fists preparing to hit the bald man but even before he attacked, a blue glow enveloped him and the next second his whole body burned in an instant leaving not even ashes.

The bald man fell back to the ground calmly and returned to sit behind his desk under the stunned and frightened eyes of all the people present, except for a few people who did not even pay attention to this scene as if they were used to it.

"There are always idiots who like to create problems..."

"He is stupid haha!"

"Those idiots never learn their lesson."

"What idiots..."

The people around continued to go about their business paying no attention to the scene that had just taken place, the people in the queue quickly backed away wiping the sweat from their foreheads leaving James standing alone in front of the desk staring at the bald man.

"What impressive mental energy, but it didn't come from him."

He couldn't help but become more alert, at the same time the man looked at him and said :

"The break is over, how can I help you?"
