Soon, Vali and Hela entered the stadium for the sword fighting exam. As soon as they entered the stadium, Vali and Hela saw several people standing on top of a stage. In fact, inside the stadium, they both saw that there are four stages with around a hundred people on each stage.

As they have been told the stage number they are allotted, Vali and Hela immediately went to their own respective stage.

And soon Vali stood amongst the hundreds of people that are in stage one.

Then, suddenly, a man stood upon an elevated platform in the spectator area of the stadium and said, " This round is a hundred person battle royale. And only the last four standing, one from each stage will move on to the semi-finals. As for the others, they will have to battle amongst themselves tomorrow to see if they would be eligible to enter the Academy's Sword Fighting department. "

As the people on the stage heard this, they begin to resolve themselves so that they could be the one that is left standing.

And in stage one, most of the people on the stage that Vali stood on secretly agreed amongst themselves to attack Vali first as he could be extremely strong since he is brought up by the king of Asgard realm. Looking at the crowd before him, Vali pondered whether if he should injure them. But seeing as they are not an enemy and could potentially be beneficial to him in the future, he drove his Kenbunshoku Haki and then release his flaming sword energy blades.

As the people saw what is approaching towards them, they thought to themselves that this is the end. And not only the people from the stage that Vali is fighting, people from other stages felt fear and they are extremely grateful in their heart that they are not in the same stage as Vali. Even the teachers that are overlooking the exam felt a bit of fear and is intrigued and fascinated by Vali's skill.

But, contrary to the expectations of the people in the stage, Vali only knocked out their swords from their hands. Even though he is only knocking them out, due to the sharpness and his merged flaming power, all of the swords that the energy blade hit immediately deformed. They could not be even called swords now as all of the swords look like a piece of scrap metal.

Realizing what Vali had done, the people on the same stage as Vali immediately kneeled down before Vali and said their thanks to him for leaving them alive and immediately left the stage. They are completely sure now on the prowess of Vali and they could only imagine the strength of their king, Odin who had trained and brought up such a monster. So, they are filled with respect and fear for both of them. And all of the things that had happened in stage one took only a single minute.

As all of the people on his stage surrendered, Vali is proclaimed the winner of stage one. But since the fighting on the other stages is still not finished, Vali waited for a while.

After about an hour, all of the matches on the stage come to a halt and the three winners are proclaimed. From stage 2, the winner is Hòfund, the winner from stage 3 is Hela and stage 4 is Findäl.

Unlike Vali, as the other three winners took a significantly longer time to finish their battle royale match. Vali had to wait for another full hour for them to recuperate.

As soon as the hour is over, Vali went up on stage 4 to fight Findäl. But, as Findäl had seen the feat performed by Vali during his battle royale match, he immediately surrendered. Since Findäl knew that even though he has a strength comparable to some low-rank warriors, he would still not be able to win against someone like Vali. So, all he could do is give up and avoid unnecessary injuries.

Due to the fact that Findäl had given up, Vali by default automatically went to the final round.

And as for the fight between Hela and Hòfund, after about 5 minutes of battling each other, Hela finally came out victorious. And as soon as Hela's fight is over, both Vali and Hela went to stage 1 for the final match.

" Sister, I think we should not fight. I will give up this match and make you the winner," said Vali. He had said this as if he could, he did not want to humiliate Hela in front of all the people.

Hearing this, Hela could not take it anymore and yelled at Vali, " Why? Do you think I am not worthy enough to be your opponent? "

Vali blocked both of Hela's sword. And while they are locking their swords in place against each other, Hela said " If you still consider me as a sister, fight me. "

But, instead of following what Hela said, Vali quickly sheathed his sword. Seeing this, Hela sent a vicious look at Vali and immediately slashed out.

But, due to the fact that Vali possessed a passive logia body which could defend up to 5000 power level, Hela could not inflict any damage on Vali.

Seeing that her attacks did not connect, it just added on to Hela's fury. So, she swiftly sent an innumerable amount of slashes at Vali.

As Hela's slashes hit Vali's body, his logia body would send out a wisp of a bluish flame when it is hit. And with each hit, this flame would burn Hela's swords bit by bit. Even after infusing her magic, Hela is still unable to inflict any damage on Vali.

After about 5 minutes, almost all of Hela's sword completely melted. Seeing the pitiful behaviour and look of the swordless Hela, Vali could not help but grant her wish.

So, Vali quickly activated Bushoshoku Haki and cover his right hand. And as his Haki level increases, the deep dark colour begins to fade more and more, now it is close to being translucent.

After infusing Haki in his fist, Vali said, " You want my full strength? Then get ready. " After saying this, Vali immediately send a punch towards Hela cheek. Due to the difference in their power level, as soon as the fist connects with Hela's cheek, she immediately is sent pummeling to the ground. Even though Vali quickly retracted his fist after it hits Hela's face, she is still sent down sideways towards the ground.

Thud!

As soon as Hela hit the ground, she is immediately knocked out cold.

And as the spectating teachers saw that Hela is knocked out, they immediately called for a medical and bring her down from the stage. After doing a quick diagnosis, the medic confirmed that there is no danger to Hela's condition. This sent a huge relief to Vali's heart as he is afraid he might have used too much strength to hit Hela.

As Hela has been knocked out, Vali is proclaimed the winner of the final match of the sword fighting entrance exam.
