As soon as Kvasir was made known of the situation Hela is in, he immediately arranges to transfer Hela to the medical facility in the palace. Although the medical facility in the Academy could treat Hela since Kvasir did not want to meet any ill-treatment from Odin due to some unprecedented circ.u.mstances. He wanted the best healer in all of Asgard, Eir to take care of the unconscious Hela as Kvasir is afraid to face the wrath of Odin and he doesn't want to take any risk.

Inside the medical facility, Hela is lying unconscious on top of a medical pod similar to the one that Vali previously laid on when he was unconscious after fighting with Brunhild.

Not long after Hela is brought to the medical facility, her mother Angerboda was informed of the situation. Although Odin is supposed to be informed about the situation of Hela as well, since he is busy at the moment meeting with his generals. Informing Odin about Hela had to be delayed at least until he is finished with the meeting.

So, Angerboda as soon as she heard the news, she immediately rushed to the medical facility to check on Hela. As she had received the complete details about the incident, she also learned that it was Vali the one responsible for the predicament Hela is in right now.

Right as she arrived at the medical facility, she inquiries about the situation that Hela is in at the moment.

" How's Hela? Is she in any danger?" worriedly asked Angerboda.

" Don't worry my Queen. Your daughter is not in any form of danger. " replied one of the nurse.

Angerboda felt relieved to hear this news. Since Hela is the person whom she depended on for her plans to succeed, she definitely has to make sure Hela would not be in any way, shape or form that could threaten the success of her plan.

She had suffered and waited for over a thousand years for her plan to go wrong.

She had to live together and marry Odin, whom she utterly despises since the beginning of the time she met him just for the sake of the plan.

Seeing Vali outside of the facility, Angerboda could not contain her anger anymore, and she approached Vali. Having received the complete information about what had happened to Hela, she was informed too of the culprit who is responsible for the situation Hela is in right now.

Not only that, recently, Vali had gained the respect of several of the Asgardian warriors including Hela and with his insanely fast-growing strength of Vali, he had developed a better sibling relationship with Hela.

As Angerboda learned of this, she is not able to control the furious anger in her heart and is unable to continue to suppress her feelings anymore.

So she quickly raised her hand and with the face of her palm, she slapped right at the face of Vali.

Right as the palm connected with the cheek of Vali, a small amount of blood flew out from his mouth.

Even though Vali knew that the palm is coming due to the effect of his Kenbunshoku Haki, he still did not want to dodge the incoming palm as he felt that he deserves to be hit just this once by Angerboda as he believes that her strength would not be that much.

But, contrary to what he thinks, Angerboda's slap packs a little more punch. And as Angerboda possess a power level is around 5000, she could hit Vali regardless of the fact that the other party possessed a logia body.

Even though Angerboda has already hit Vali once, she is not in a mood to stop. So, she quickly lifted her hands up again to hit Vali. In fact, if the time and place are right for her, she would not hesitate to try and even kill Vali. As for whether if she would be able to successfully kill Vali is something only that could be known when the event occurs.

But, as Vali noticed what Angerboda is about to do beforehand with his Kenbunshoku Haki, he extended his own hand to catch the incoming palm. Although Vali believes that he deserves the first slap, he felt that going receive another slap is a bit too much. He had only done what Hela requested of him. He had not stepped out of his bounds.

In fact, if Hela hasn't insisted him to fight her using his full strength, this situation would not even occur since initially, Vali did not even want to fight back against her even if she kept on hacking and slashing at her.

And even when he finally retaliate and Vali hits her with a punch, he still did not fully complete the punch but had retracted it as soon as it connects. He was showing as much mercy as possible.

Hence, he had stopped the incoming palm of Angerboda.

Seeing that her hand has been stopped in its path, Angerboda felt even more furious. So, she begins to lift her other arm to try and slap Vali. But before she could do anything, a shout came from behind her that made her stop from doing so.

" What are you doing? ", Odin loudly yelled out at Angerboda. Odin came as soon as he finished his meeting with his generals.

" Your precious adopted son has put our daughter in the medical facility. So I punish him in your stead. ", replied Angerboda.

" Silence! " said Odin.

As she heard this, Angerboda immediately retracted her arms and kept quiet. She knows it crystal clear about the strength and the fear Odin could put in people when he is angry. Hence, she did not dare to put up any fight.

" I have received the news about what happened. There is no one to blame. " said Odin, then he continued, " And what do you two think you are doing? Hela is in there right now recuperating." Odin scolded both Vali and Angerboda.

Then, Odin turns towards Angerboda and said, " What has happened is because of a fight in the entrance exam. Don't be childish to hold grudges over such menial thing. Besides, the situation Hela is in should not even be that grave and dangerous."

After that, Odin approaches Vali and whispered in his ear, " Next time, hold back a bit. After all, she is your sister and family."

Hearing his father's advice, Vali quickly replied, " I understand father, I will hold back in the future."

Even if Odin had drunk from the Well of Mimir to gain wisdom, he is not omniscient as some of the rumours had said about him. This is well shown as he would sometimes use divination magic or other means to know things that occur and will occur.

But what Odin had gained from the Well of Mimir was knowledge about the Ragnarok and increase in his knowledge.

Hence, Odin did not realize that all of this had happened even after Vali hold himself back.

If Vali had truly used all of the skills that he possessed, instead of lying on the medical pod, Hela would not be even breathing at the moment.

As Odin too had learned about the situation and that there is no danger about the condition Hela is in right now. He excuses himself and soon left the place.

Following Odin, Vali left when the night approaches. But unlike these two, Angerboda stayed behind with Hela throughout the night.

As the morning came, Hela rose with the daylight.

Right as she woke up, she saw her mother sleeping beside her. As she saw this, she felt happy.

Not long after Hela woke up, Angerboda too wakes up. Then she immediately asked Hela, " Is there anything that still bothers you? Are you okay?"

Although Angerboda seems like she cares about Hela, the main reason as to why she stayed behind with her is to make sure that Hela is truly fine so that her plan could continue. And she had done this so as to manipulate Hela to do what she wants. She wanted to completely fool Hela to do her bidding and make Hela trust her the most.

" I'm fine Mom. There's no need to worry. " replied Hela as she heard her mother's question.

" That Vali, who does he think he is to treat you this way?" with a vicious look in her eyes, Angerboda said angrily.

" It's not Vali's fault. I was the one who pushed him." Hela replied.

" Still, he should not have done something like this to you. Does he not feel any gratitude towards us?" said Angerboda.

" Mom, stop this nonsense. Vali is a good brother." said Hela, she said this because she realised that Vali did not initially want to do something like hurt her.

" Okay, I will stop. But remember that I am the only one who will truly care about you." Angerboda told Hela.

As Angerboda saw the way Hela looks when she talks about Vali, she despises Vali all the more. She is beginning to lose control over Hela, and she knew that if Vali is not removed immediately or if she did not find out some other way to influence Hela completely. What she had planned for thousands of years would go down the drain.

But, as she did not dare to kill Vali in the palace due to the fact that she feared if Vali died right now, it could possibly be traced back to her as her encounter with Vali the previous day would make her one of the prime suspects if Vali is killed.

So, she decided to push the assassination back for some time until Vali is in a place where his death could not lead back to her and first let the incident that happened yesterday to be first forgotten before she makes any move on Vali.
