As Vali had eaten the fruit, he got a huge boost in his power level and definitely a tremendous increase in his life span. But as he does not have the time to check his stats and was not in a hurry, he did not do so.

Due to his increase in strength, Vali is itching to test his newfound power. With that in mind, Vali asked, " Father, can you help me go to the fighting arena? I want to test out how strong I am. "

As Odin heard Vali request, he was surprised. He wondered how potent was the fruit that Vali ate. But he could not confirm it as he is not the one that ate the fruit. Also, as he had not seen Vali fight after he got a boost from eating the golden Apple, he could not know anything or gauge the increase in Vali's strength.

" Firstly, get used to the increase in your strength. Then I will help you get into the arena even though you are still too young to be allowed inside to fight. " said Odin.

Soon after this, they reached the palace, then, Odin and Vali went their separate ways. While Odin went to the throne room, Vali immediately went to the training ground to test and get used to his increase in his power level.

And only when the night came did Vali went back to his room. Laying down in his bed, Vali summoned his status screen..

Staring at his status screen, Vali confirmed how powerful the golden apples are. Although the increase in his power level is 60, but the increase in his lifespan is enormous. It jumped from only 150 years to 3000 years, the fruit had increased his lifespan by a tremendous amount of 2850 years.

As he learned about the benefits of the fruit, he felt more thankful towards Idun. Since what Vali needed most is a longer lifespan as he is a human, and as strength could be acquired through training and fighting, and a longer lifespan means more time to train and more time to fight, which would help him increase his strength tremendously.

With having the knowledge of this, Vali soon went to sleep. And in the next morning, when he woke up, Vali quickly went to the training ground to get used to his strength. And through this training, he had learned that using his sword skills alone, he could now create around 10 short swords formed from his sword energy. Although he could only summon them for around 5 minutes without hitting anything and the time he could summon them decrease as he hit harder substances. This ability to summon energy sword and power up is due to his sword skills reaching level 4.

And likewise, as his Haki level increase to 2, his Kenbunshoku Haki and Bushoshoku Haki too powered up. Now, Vali could see more details of his surroundings using Kenbunshoku Haki and with Bushoshoku Haki, he could now cover fully both of his katanas.

But, fully using his skills for an extended period of time is still exhausting for Vali. Nevertheless, the increase in his skills level and power level means he is one step closer to his goal of controlling his own fate.

As the noon approaches, Vali went to his father who is inside the throne room. And as always, since Odin is still trying to conquer and bring peace to the nine realms, he is meeting with his military officials.

After his father had finished meeting with his generals and commanders, Vali went into the throne room. Seeing his father sitting on the throne, Vali quickly begins to approach him, but before he could say anything, Odin said to him, " You are done getting used to your new strength?" As Vali suddenly heard his father, he forgot to reply verbally but he instinctively nodded his head. Seeing Vali nodding his head, Odin continued, " Well then, let go to the arena. " Then, both of them immediately headed out of the palace.

Hela saw her father and her adoptive brother, Vali going somewhere. Curious as to where they could be going, she quickly went to their side and asked, " Father, br... brother, where are you two going? "

After suffering defeat from the hands of Vali and then seeing his prowess again when Vali fought Brunhild, Hela could no longer look down on Vali. She reluctantly called Vali her brother, even though her mother, Angerboda, ever since she was a child told her that she is above everyone and is the true and rightful heir of Asgard. And especially when Vali came into the scene, Angerboda was not particularly fond of the boy because of potential threat he could cause in the future. Her dislike influenced Hela to hate Vali.

Hearing the question of Hela, Vali quickly responded with a smile, " Father is taking me to the fighting arena for warriors. Sister, do you want to come along? "

Vali is smiling as this is the first time Hela called him brother, although it seems like she was forcing herself, but Vali considered this as progress in their relationship. He is starting to earn the respect of his sister, who has never even once regarded him as a part of her family.

Hela felt a bit ashamed due to the kind response and treatment she received from Vali. All of these years, even though she despises Vali and had treated him as a such, while the other party looks like he does not hold any grudge.

" Yes.... I want to come." Hela spoke quieter than her normal tone. Then she continued as she followed the two, " What are going to do there? Are we going to watch the warriors fight? "

Vali chuckled a bit, then he replied, " No, I am going to fight in the arena. "

But it still has only one main entrance to get inside the arena fighting stages and inside that entrance, there are several passageways to the spectator area.

As the three walked inside the arena, they are greeted by warriors and spectators who are carrying weapons of their own, either on their back or on their waist. These people include only the ones that are walking inside near the arena reception. Although the people are only greeting Odin sincerely, due to the fact that Vali and Hela are following him, they too got greeted by the people inside.
