Because He Is Her 'First Love'....

(The Time When She Confessed to Him.....)

The rustling sound of the waves in the back felt merely audible to him because the only sound which he could hear was hers.

She had held him tightly in her arms and had just said, "I love you, Juna! I am so much in love with you!!!"

Those several words meant world to him. He was so happy to hear her say that; but more than this, he was surprised.

Surprised that the girl, with whom he had always been in love with, for whose happiness he had choked his love for her and given up her to someone else was in his arms and was telling him that she was in love with him.

Confusion, shock, happiness, excitement all these emotions were so overwhelming that he felt, an usual warm feeling in his heart, rising up till his throat and then reaching his eyes; and finally coming out as hot tears.

His unusual breathing and the feeling of his trembling chin on her shoulder loosened her grip on him. She pulled herself back to see his face but the next instant he wrapped his both arms around her waist and pulled her towards him.

"Ca-can we stay like this….a-a little longer?" He whispered in her ears.

The heaviness in his voice made her eyes well up.

She gave a slight nod and buried her face in his shoulder; her fingers clenching onto his shirt.

She could hear his small sobs which he was trying to hold in but wasn't able to.

Several minutes had passed, them being like that.

His breathing came back to normal.

And finally, his grip on hers, loosened; holding her by her shoulders he pulled away a little.

Looking into her teary eyes, he finally spoke up, "Mia…I also….I have also loved you…since the beginning….since…since forever….I love you so much…."

She held his face with one of her hands, rubbing onto his cheek gently she smiled; as her tear-filled eyes twinkled in the moonlight.

"I'm sorry…" She said. "I'm sorry for realizing this so late…"

He shook his head denying it.

"Everything was in front me." She continued, "My feelings, my emotions….You. But…But I never noticed them, I…never noticed you…"

"No Mia…."

"It's true Juna…How could I never understand this…How I could never understand that you loved me…and more than that, how could I never realize that I loved you too…."

"…."

"I always have been."

He was looking into her eyes the whole time. When she stopped talking, he held her hand which was on his face and kissed it.

Then bringing it down towards his racing heart, he intertwined his fingers with hers.

"Don't think about what has happened before…" He said and kissed her hand again. "I am just….I'm just so happy right now, that you are sitting here with me and telling me how much you love me. It's so beautiful that it almost seems like a dream to me…"

She shook her head, "No…This is not a dream…." She said, "Because if it is, I won't be able to handle the fact that I have woken up with everything being just like the way it was today morning."

Her eyes again filled up as the thought clouded in her mind.

He brought his hand towards her face and gently tucked the hair strings on it behind her ear.

Then bringing his face closer to hers he whispered, "I promise… it won't be."

And he placed his lips on hers.

She didn't hesitate and kissed him back.

His other hand ran up from her waist to her back as he pulled her in; closest to himself.

Her hands were on his c.h.e.s.t as his lips were locked up with hers.

She could feel his fast beating heart and it eventually getting in sync with hers.

She literally felt that not only his heart but also the rustling waves, the whistling wind and even the swaying branches of the trees were in the sync of her heartbeat.

"Can I ask you something?" She asked on their way back to the house.

"Yeah of course!" He said tightening his grip on her hands.

"This thing…I just couldn't get out from my head…"

"What is it?"

"Do you remember our hot spring trip?" She asked.

"….Umm….Yeah…why?"

"Well….Umm…..By any chance, did you also come up on the hill that night?"

"Huh?"
