Because He Is Her 'First Love'....

Jun looked at her surprised, the way she was looking at him, made him laugh, "Hahaha!"

"What? What's so funny about that?" She asked.

"No no. It's just the face you were making. It was truly amusing." He said and laughed again.

She pouted, "You think it's amusing….For me, it's terrifying!" She murmured to herself.

"Well…." Jun said, "I guess, you gotta know the whole story now."

"Huh?" She looked at him confused.

The evening of their last day at the hot spring.

All of them except Jun had gone to the hill after Ye Rin had insisted them.

Jun was back at the hotel room by himself.

He was getting more and more nervous as he could see the sun going down towards the horizon.

"Oh god! It's gonna get dark soon!" He said to himself when he walked towards the window and looked outside, towards the hill.

The jungle was already looking darker.

"That stupid Mia…why did she go there? She knows I don't like such things and still she went; didn't even ask anything about me...if I'll be okay on my own….Nothing. Not a single thing. Just went with them." He was walking to and fro in the room, getting frustrated over her. "Well, I'm not okay here. I'm tensed…" He continued talking to himself. "I'm worried for all of them….what if? What if there is a real ghost???" The thought made his face go pale.

He again looked out from the window. The Sun was already touching the horizon.

He looked at it and then towards the hill where his friends were.

"I….I have to go there!" He decided to himself. "I can't just stay here and worry for them. I gotta go and bring them back."

'But what if I can't bring myself back? What if I get lost?' He thought.

"No no no!" He quickly shook away all the negative thoughts, "I shouldn't get scared. I have to go! They need me!" Punching his wrist into its other hand, he quickly ran outside.

But he didn't realize that he had forgotten his phone on the bed, in the room!

He was standing before the hills. "Yes! I can do this!" He tried to motivate himself.

The darkness was increasing every passing moment.

'I gotta hurry…' He thought and started running towards the woods.

He could see the sun rays penetrating through the branches were getting thinner and thinner as he was going deep inside.

He kept running. 'I gotta find them as soon as possible…', this was the only thought which was going through his mind.

But then suddenly, he saw something lying on the ground in the merely last sunray.

"What is that?" His legs stopped in front of it. He bent down and took it in his hands, "R-R-Ray's lucky hat????" He was looking at it with terrified expressions,

'What's this doing here? Where is he? Oh god! Is he in danger? Did someone abduct him and this is the only thing left behind? Was that-Was that a ghost???' When all these thoughts started crowding in his mind, the last left sun rays disappeared and just in a couple of seconds, everything turned dark.

His hands quickly went towards his pockets to look for his phone, but then it hit him, "Shit!" He remembered the moment he threw the phone on the bed in frustration. "Oh no! No no no no no no!!!"

'Stupid Jun! Stupid, idiot Jun!!!' He started cursing at himself. 'How can you forget it at the hotel room?' He grabbed his forehead in frustration and crouched down.

'Now what should I do? What should I do? I don't know where the others are….I have found Ray's hat lying here like this…There is no sign of him nor the others and ….And I think I'm lost!'

Suddenly he heard a sound of breaking of a branch, back from the bushes.

He quickly got up and looked in that direaction, "R-Ray?.....M-Mia?" He called their names.

But no answer.

"R-Ray?" He called again, still no answer.

But then, he saw, two huge dots in the air, shining towards him.

"!!!" A shiver went down his spine; his hands started shaking in fear. He carefully took a step back.

And then, 'Blink!' Those two dots just blinked at him.

"EEEEEEKKKKKKKKKkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!" He screamed loud and without thinking anything anymore he just started running; away from those two eyes.

He didn't look where he was going nor he looked back to see if those two eyes were following him or not. He just kept running endlessly.

He didn't know where he was going nor did he want to know. The only thing he wanted was to get away from those eyes he had seen as far as possible.

He ran and ran until he came onto the top of the hill. There were no more trees now. It was all grass. The moon was up in the sky and its cold blue light was spread all over the place.

He didn't stop, and ran further towards a tree which was standing in the middle of this grassland.

He came towards the tree, panting heavily.

He was running for almost the whole time; it took a while for him to catch back his breath.

He finally looked back from the way he had come. There was no sign of any creepy eyes.

He sighed to himself loudly, "Huhhh! Thank god!"

Then he looked around, there was no one at all.

The only thing which was accompanying him was the sounds of the cicadas; otherwise it was dead drop silence.

There was no sign of any human whatsoever.

"I am lost. I am completely lost." He said to himself. "There is no way, I know that where I am supposed to go. Nor I am seeing anyone here. Where is everyone? Did something happen to them?....No No No….Don't think such things…"

He looked at the Ray's hat in his hands. "But then, where are they?.....Wait wait wait.." He realized something, "Please god, don't tell me that they already went back to hotel…" His face darkened with the thought. "I came here all the way for them, for that stupid Mia and now, if they had already gone back, that means I am here alone….Alone on this stupid hill!"

His grip on the hat tightened as realized how stupid he was to come all the way here without a phone, as he was unable to call anyone.

"If they are back in the hotel and they don't see me there…They'll get worried. They'll look for me everywhere but they won't find me. And me….me being here….without anything….is like an invitation to the ghosts…They'll come and get me!" He looked around and then again shook his head,

'No no no. There is no such thing as ghosts, you stupid Jun. Stop thinking about it. And try to think of a way to get back to the hotel somehow.'

He again looked at the hat and then wore it, "Please please please, Ray's lucky hat! Give me some ideas or show me a way back, please…." He begged inside.

"I can't spend the night here. I have to do something to get back!"

And he decided to walk around to look for something.

He turned towards his right and started to walk around the tree.

And then suddenly, he saw a figure in the moonlight, standing in the grasses, a little far away from him.

'Huh? Someone is there! Could that be one of them?' He thought as he started waving as hard as he could.

The figure waved at him back and then started running towards him.

Looking at the way it was running, he figured, "Thank god! Mia!!!"

Back on the beach,

"Really?" Mia asked, "You were there? Y-You are the guy who kissed me? You are my first kiss???"

He nodded slightly as he looked the other way to hide his fl.u.s.tered face.

He didn't know what to say anymore as he didn't know what Mia was thinking about it.

He looked at her to see her expressions, the moment their eyes met; she jumped on him hugging him, "Oh thank god!! Thank god it was you Juna! You have no idea how happy this makes me!! Thank you god, thank you so much!"

Jun wasn't quite expecting this reaction from her, "Hehe…Are you that happy?" He asked.

"Yes of course!" She said as she pulled away herself and looked at him, "I mean….You are a million times better than a ghost being my first kiss!" She said jokingly.

"Ohhhhh!!!" He nodded slowly, narrowing his eyes to her, "So, that's why you are happy…."

"Yeahhhh…" She said trying to control her laughter.

"Is that so?" He asked again.

She giggled. "What were you thinking then?" She asked.

"I'll show you what I was thinking about", he said pulling her closer to himself.

Whether it was the curse of that hill or their fate, but the two of them were finally together.

It was not the end but was a new beginning of their life together…
