'It feels a little better now….' Mia thought to herself as she was coming down the stairs.

As she was about to turn towards her classroom someone familiar ran passed her.

"Huh?" Startled she took a step back. "Is that….Is that So Hee?"

As soon as she asked that to herself she heard April's voice coming from the direction from where So Hee came.

"SO HEE!!! WAIT!!!" April was yelling but without even turning back, So Hee had already gone.

Mia quickly went towards her friends. "Hey? What was that? What happened to So Hee?"

"…..I donno…" April said; her voice concerned.

"….Was she crying?" Mia asked looking in the way where So Hee went.

"Yes. She was." Hana answered.

"I'm telling you guys, Ray has rejected her." Ye Rin commented.

"Will you stop that Ye Rin?" April said. "You said that in front of her and then she just ran away…"

"Yeah. That's what I'm saying!" Ye Rin tried to prove her point.

Mia looked at Ye Rin and signaled her to stay silent for a while.

"Will you tell me what happened exactly?" Mia asked to April.

"We all were talking just now, and then So Hee came with her head down…." April said.

"So we asked her, what happened? Is everything alright?..." Hana continued. "And then Ye Rin asked her jokingly if Ray rejected her and then the tears just started streaming down her cheeks…."

"And without a due, she just ran away from us…."April completed the sentence.

"Ohhh….."Mia said to herself.

The last bell rang and everyone got out from their class.

Hana saw So Hee walking out from the classroom with heavy steps.

From the lunch break, she had been sitting in the class but she hadn't said a word so Hana was also worried now. She quickly went towards the other's class to tell them about this.

"She hasn't even looked at me guys…" Hana said. "And her swollen eyes are telling that she has cried a lot….I don't know what to do now….What should we do?"

"I'll talk to her." April said and ran downstairs.

All others also followed her hurriedly.

They caught So Hee in the hallways of the ground floor.

With her darkened face and the heavy crooked steps, she was looking horrifying.

"Zombie..." The words came out of Ye Rin's mouth automatically.

Everyone glared at her so she quickly put a finger on her mouth indicating that she will be quiet.

April ran and held So Hee's hand from back.

"So Hee? Wait!" She said. "What happened? What is wrong? Why aren't you talking with us?"

"…." So Hee stayed silent.

"…Look So Hee, we all are worried about you. Please tell us what happened? What did Ray say?"

On that, So Hee looked up, for the first time.

Her eyes were covered black as her mascara was all around them due to her crying.

"I don't wanna talk about this with anyone." She said and then with a jerk she let go off her hand from April's and started to walk away.

As April was about to run towards her again, someone held her hand from the back.

It was Mia. April looked back and Mia was shaking her head telling her not to follow So Hee.

"Let her be." Mia said. "We should give her some space…"

"But—"

"She is right April." Ye Rin said. "Passing time is the best healer."

"Thanks Ye Rin. This is the wisest thing you have said today." Mia said.

"What? What do you mean? I always talk wise." Ye Rin said acting offended.

"Yeah…."

"So we have the idea what would have happened in the So Hee's case. But what happened to you?" Ye Rin asked looking at April.

"Huh?" April was startled by the sudden question. "Me?....Umm….I…..I didn't get to ask him…." She answered.

"What? Why?" Mia asked. "What happened? Were you nervous or something?"

"Oh! No….Not nervous…..It was just….that he had some better things to do…." She said as her eyes were pinned to the ground.

"You're right! Just tell me the name of that jerk! I'll take his class!" Mia said bending her knuckles.

"…No…no….guys…." April said. "It's not his fault. He really had something very important to do…." Though she was trying to convince all of them, she was the one who sounded the most disappointed.

"The Valentine's day is not over yet though." Ye Rin said.

"Yeah!" Hana jumped in excitement. "You can still go to him and ask him."

"Hurry up now, before he goes home." Mia encouraged her.

"Really? Do you all think so?" April hesitated.

"Totally!!!" All three of them said at the same time.

"Okay!" April smiled widely and quickly ran upstairs.

"Should we follow?" Hana asked.

"Oh no! We have run enough today. I'm really tired." Ye Rin said.

"Let's wait for her at the gate." Mia said.

After around 10 minutes, April came out of the school building.

As soon as she came towards the girls, all asked her the same question. "So? What happened?"

April sighed and looked at them. "He's gone….Already…"

"What? Gone?"

"Yeah…..This is so stupid…..Maybe I should have stopped him at the first time only…." April said disappointingly. "…Now the Valentine's day is also over….And I'll have to wait for the next year…."

Mia was thinking as she was riding her bike down the hill.
