Because He Is Her 'First Love'....

"Hey Jun, you're home early today…." Mia's mother said as she opened the door and saw Jun standing before her.

"…." Jun didn't say anything.

"Where is Mia?" She asked.

"….Mia?....Umm….She's coming…." And saying that he entered the house hurriedly.

'Huh? What's wrong?' Mother thought.

Jun started walking towards the stairs.

Suddenly, Charlie came out from the kitchen as he heard Jun's voice and started wagging his tail as hard as he could, running around him.

Jun just sat on his knees and patted on Charlie's head once. Then again getting up he stepped towards the stairs.

Mia's mother followed him hurriedly. "What happened sweety? Did you children fight again?"

"….Ohh….No auntie…..It's fine….Don't worry…." He said without turning back and went upstairs quietly.

Jina who's been lying on the couch as always, was also hearing to all this. 'Something is wrong….' She thought.

Knock! Knock!

"Not now Mia. I'm a little busy." Jun answered from inside.

"It's not her. It's me. Jina." The answer came from the other side.

Couple of seconds later, the door half opened and Jun was standing, blocking it.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"I don't want anything. I just brought some snacks for you." Jina said lifting the tray in her hands in front of his face.

Jun just narrowed his eyes.

"What's with that look?" She said. "Mom told me that you seemed down. So she sent some donuts and warm milk for you."

Jun wasn't still believing this, cause he knew, that Jina was not the kind of the person who'd listen to anyone straight ahead without any motive in her head.

Still, he opened the door full and took the tray in his hands.

"…Thanks…" He said and turned towards his room.

Walking towards the table, he kept the tray on it.

"So…" Jina's voice came from the back.

'I knew she wants something…' Jun thought as he turned back to find Jina sitting on the chair.

"So what?" Jun asked.

"Nothing special…." She said. "….But you know….It was Valentine's day today…."

"So?" He asked.

"So….Something happened at the school?"

"….."

"You know….Something like, someone confessed her feelings to you and you made her cry…..or….maybe the other way around?" She raised both of her eyebrows.

"What? What are you talking about? Nothing such happened today." He said quickly clearing things.

"Then? Then what's with the mood today?"

"Nothing's wrong with my mood. I'm like always."

"Ha!" She exclaimed as she got the answer. "Maybe you went to confess your feelings to a girl but before you, someone else confessed his feelings to her! Right???" She said her eyes going wider at every word.

With the donut still in his mouth, Jun gave her an ice-cold stare.

"What? This can happen!" She said.

"Maybe you are watching too much drama these days!" He taunted.

"No. I'm not….Well, maybe a little. But that's not what I'm talking. From the second you've entered the house, you haven't done anything normal." Jina said.

"What do you mean?" Jun asked.

"You know. You enter the house and greet my mother like a good boy she thinks you are…"

"Hey…" Jun sounded offended.

"…And then commenting something on Sis and Charlie's never ending love, you come inside. Then when you see me lying on the couch, you roll your eyes…

"How do you know that? You don't even look at me. Your eyes are pinned to the T.V.!" Jun was surprised as he was hearing the every detail.

"I know your every reaction to your every action. So I assumed you'd be doing that!" Jina shrugged her shoulders."…And then you go inside the kitchen to get a drink or to offer some help to my mother and then you go upstairs!"

"This is….so weird…" Jun said.

Ignoring to his comment, Jina said, "But you didn't do anything like that. You just came to your room straight ahead."

"….Okay. But still, why did you think that, all this has to be connected with the "Valentine's day"?" Jun asked. "I mean, why don't you get the thought of me and Mia fighting again, just like aunty thought?"

"Well, first of all, when you two fight, you still come home with her. You have never left her behind." Jina explained. "And second….When you two fight, you are all cool and laid back, commenting on her playfully, while she is the one who's all red and grumpy! As nothing like this happened, I cut off that option right away!"

"O-KAY! It's getting weirder every second now." Jun said. "You know a lot of useless things about me…."

"I know useful things too!" Jina said. "Wanna know some of them?"

"No. No. I'm fine. You are scaring me now." He said.

"So? Tell me now. What happened to you?" Jina asked persistently.

'…I also don't know.' He thought as his hand automatically went towards the pocket of his pants, and the crumbled paper inside made a small noise. 'Knowing that Ray likes Mia and she likes him back….This is all just so….unexpected….'

"Hey!" Jina clapped her hands twice, snapping Jun out from his thoughts.

"Huh?" He looked at her.

"You were telling me…"

"Oh! That?...I told you already, that there is nothing wrong with me."

"Sure?"

"Yes! Now will you please leave me alone with my snack, so I'll enjoy it? Cause you and your stupid questions ruining the whole mood."

"Fi~ne. I'm going." Saying that, Jina got up and started to walk towards the door.

As she was about to step outside, Jun stopped her.

"Hey…" He called.

A smirk appeared on her face, hiding it the next instant she turned back. "Yeah?"

"Can I ask you something?" Jun asked.

"Go ahead."

"If Mia likes something….How much is the extent…I mean, you know—"

"So she likes someone!" Jina exclaimed.

"N-O. Not "someone". I said something. SOMETHING!" He pressed the word harder.

"Yeah…Yeah. "Something"…..So, you want an honest answer or a sympathetic answer?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Sympathetic? Why would I need your sympathy?"

"You know….just in case…."

"Don't play with the words and just answer the question."

"Okay Mr… Here's the answer.

If sis really likes something….she keeps it to herself for the whole life! She still has her favorite doll from her childhood, her lucky pen from the 4th grade, which is broken by the way, then her blanket too, when she was a baby! A baby! Can you believe this?" She said holding her head in her hands.

Jun was just looking at her over-dramatic actions. "Will you hurry up and tell the main point of all this?"

Jina rolled her eyes and said, "The main point here is that, if she likes something she'll cherish it for her entire life! Like a billion dollar treasure!"

"Ohh…" Jun nodded understandingly.

"Once, I lost my pen so I took hers, and she took the whole house on her head when she didn't find it!

She becomes so much attached to all her things!

I must say, she is a freak with whom you don't wanna mess with, about her "things"….!"

Jun was just listening to all this very carefully.

"If this is with the things….imagine what will happen with the "persons" ? You know what I mean?" A slight smirk resting on her face was unnoticed by Jun.

"Okay…." Jun said. "Thanks for the answer….You can go now…"

"Okay! Happy that I helped." And saying that she turned back.

Walking downstairs, only one thing was revolving through her head, 'Does that mean, he knows about Mia liking that guy…Ray? But he didn't seem as upset as I thought he would be…..He was more like….concerned….? That's weird! He should be jealous and angry….or at least a little sad...But he was more like, he wanted to know more about Mia's point of view…..'

"Hey!" Mia suddenly came in front of Jina from nowhere.

Startled, Jina jumped a little. "What's wrong with you?" She said putting her hand on her fast beating heart.

"Where is Jun?" Mia asked.

"He's upstairs."

"Okay…" Mia said and picked up the Charlie from her feet. "Let's go Charlie and see that idiot! How dare he leave me back alone? Right Charlie? You also think so right? Yes! Yes..." And talking with Charlie Mia went upstairs towards Jun's room.

Jina, who was looking at them from downstairs thought, 'Looking at her mood, she hasn't confessed anything to Ray nor he has done it yet…..So that's not a concern now. As for Jun…..I still can't understand what's going on in his head…..That guy is a problem….'
