Between The Worlds

Taking the position, Raphel did his best to remember every detail of the human bear's position! He even did his best to release the same aura!

The young bear never stopped his charge, in fact, he became even faster as one could see the wind around his young head! The bear's red mad eyes were as scary as always as they followed him thoroughly!

Then, Raphel took the position. It would be perfect if his body wasn't shaking! In his mind, he was saying 'magic' incessantly.

Since human bear could use magic on Earth, how could he not use it as snakeman in another world?! As young bear got closer, Raphel's energy core roared!

ROAAAAAR!

It startled him so much, so much that he released his palm strike forward in fear! He even closed his eyes like on Earth during his fight with Human Bear! However, thanks to Raphel's inward roar, the bear red eyes disappeared as if shattering meaning that young bear lost his sudden strength increase!

Then, Raphel's palm struck the young bear head as he charged furiously! During his attack, Raphel didn't know whether he used magic or made air tremble. He truly didn't know anything at all with his closed eyes!

Boom!

But the explosion caused by those two attack and slight pain in his arm made Raphel to open his eyes, albeit, reluctantly...

"Wh-why!"

His arm broke once more! It went into opposite direction looking funny as hell. He was like clown with such arm. However, quickly enough, Raphel forgot about pain or even his arm as he noticed the unconscious young bear laying on the ground after his attack!

"I-I w-won! I won! Ahahah!"

"..."

Raphel was truly happy as he finally did something good in this brutal world by himself alone! Then, he suddenly got struck om his head back by mysterious snake! It was obviously because he was too happy after beating weak and young bear!

"What? I won! Why are you attacking me?!"

Raphel got mad and tried to use his new technique to store the snake in his dimension like any other beast tamer! However, he got sudden message...

[Although ***** likes you, she doesn't want to enter the dimensional pocket.]

"What? Why is your name censored? And you are woman? So what! Why didn't you help me?!"

He won by himself, but if she attacked with him, then it still would count as his power as mysterious snake belongs to him! Thus, Raphel knew his anger is understandable! He also slapped the glorious scales of snake trying to be good beast tamer.

"Listen, you must help me even if the opponent is young bear or someone even younger!"

"..."

The snake hissed at him and went up as she rested on his head. After the battle cooled down, the pain from broken arm came and Raphel g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain...

Even though it didn't feelt to bad compared to the fall!

Going back home, Raphel looked like and idiot with blood, broken arm and bruises on his body. As he passed through the gates of Huntai City, many people laughed at him and those from other guilds sneered and insulted very openly at him.

"I don't have money for medicines!"

Right now, Raphel was very mad at himself. However, when he heals naturally, then he is going to praise himself for saving the money or not getting himself into any debts. As he quickly approached the Imblazire Guild territory, he did his best to sneakily enter his new house, but in this territory full of wild beasts, how could he even hide?

"Isn't that new member of Riana team?"

Some people recognized him as his talk with Riana was in the very front of the Imblazire Guild gates. Hearing them, Raphel blushed as he knew his new leader is going to scold him!

The snakeman quickly found his room and took out the keys, but before he could enter the door.

"So you are the new member huh..."

Raphel flinched, but braced himself and turned around to the source of the voice. It was man who looked like in his early twenties. He was tall and had short brown hair. Wearing casual clothes, he seemed as if easy-going person.

But Raphel noticed that on the very top, he had bear like ears! The thought of Raphel catching forcefully young bear caused him to feel fear towards this easy-going person!

"I heard you are newbie. How is your progress?"

"I-I learnt dimension pocket already..."

"Ohh, nice. Then, those wounds are from your battle with bear I guess?"

"B-bear? W-what do you m-mean? Haha!"

"No need to get embarrassed. Bears from the closest forest are good for newbies like you. They are not strong, but can be used as transport, so you will be useful in incoming dungeon mission."

The man smiled brightly. It looked as if he didn't care that Raphel fought against bears even though he was bear man himself! But Raphel didn't believe his luck and was still cautious. However, as he heard that his bear might be useful for transport, he became as pale as sheet...

After all, he has caught a young bear who can reach to his knees only! Also he forcefully placed him in his dimension pocket, thus, there is high chance that young bear will attack him once more!

"Anyway, see ya soon. The mission is next week, so train hard~~ This medicine is present from your senior! I am Biruan! Nice to meet ya."

"I am Raphel..."

Since Raphel had broken right arm, there was no handshake, but Biruan still patted his shoulder, then left the corridor cheerfully. As for Raphel...

"I must at least tame the young bear properly!"

He was ready for scolding!
