Between The Worlds

The bear that came over was bigger than any bear here in the forest, but not that big as Biruan white bear! The only thing that father of the young bear and Biruan's shared was scars on the face that shown his ferociousness!

"Shit..."

It really felt like defeated trauma just came back! Raphel lightly shivered, then clenched his hands so tightly it began bleeding. Inwardly, he had decided, that no matter what, he won't turn off and escape.

Growl! Father!

The young bear roared happily. Then he ran towards his father with quick steps, only to get slapped by his father! The slap was so hard that the young bear got sent flying slamming into tree!

"The young bear!"

GROWL! F.u.c.k.i.n.g lizardman. What have you done to my son?!

"N-nothing..."

Growl! As if! F.u.c.k.i.n.g humanoid shit. You think you are better because you have human form?! COME! Daddy will take care of you!

The father roared and charged like the young bear had done in the past. However, his charge was so tremendously stronger, that Raphel could see the air trembling around him! As the father raised his head up and opened his mouth full of saliva, Raphel moved.

It was perfect moment to throw the venom at the opened mouth, but Raphel didn't want to kill the father of the young bear! Thus, roaring inwardly for the claw, Raphel sent his palm strike forward. Mid-air the whole arm of his exploded and the 'snake' claw appeared.

Full of green scales and purple nails, the normal and simple palm strike became domineering and imposing one!

Still, the father was quite experienced bear indeed. He nimbly moved his head to the side and grabbed the claw with his sharp teeth, aiming to tear it apart. However, the defense of those scales in such form was totally on another level.

Thus, the bear only could tremble while doing his best to penetrate through... Of course, Raphel was in quite similar situation. He couldn't move his arm, but his other was free and if he could use it fast enough, then...

'I would win already! Give me... the power!'

Raphel roared inwardly once again raising his left hand. It was palm strike going for the chin to shake the body of the bear. During release, Raphel left arm began scorching and he knew this feeling very well! His left was changing like his right one...

"Arghhhhh!"

The blood that was boiling deep inside Raphel allowed him to advance further! Even though it was normal, forest bear... With his strengthened arm, Raphel sent the head of the bear flying while he himself gasped, fighting now for breath...

"Haaa... haaa."

The fight shocked the young bear's brothers, but then their father came back with even more anger visible in his eyes. They became red, filled with killing intent as the father himself still felt the pain on his whole face!

Then Little Kiri suddenly chimed in...

"Big bear, no point in fighting anymore! You are trembling so much, here!"

She threw the green meat which was like aphrodisiac for the bears. The brother's had hard time holding themselves and had to be stopped by father himself. As for the father, he took the meat and ate everything in one go!

"What is this meat?"

"I don't know. It's meat that Biruan uses to feed his own bears! I stole it from him, hehe~~"

"Don't speak so proudly about it!"

Little Kiri was quite mischievous indeed! What was worse was that the young bear saw everything clearly and threw a look of anger at her. Didn't he win against her little cat? Why hadn't she given it to him as reward?!

Sitting on the b.u.t.t as if protesting, The young bear looked cute rather than mad or anything like that. His father who ate the most delicious thing in his life, looked at his youngest son.

Growl! You have become stronger!

Growl! I have, and I will become even more!

Growl! So you want to be with this lizardman?!

The young bear nodded shocking his family. They growled for a while more meaning they talked about something, but Raphel didn't want to chim in or listen. It's their family talk after all. He took Little Kiri to the side and took his lunch as well!

Soon, the father came to his side with the young bear on his back. After their 'tie' the father became a bit nicer knowing that Raphel also had made his son stronger... He talked about mysterious happening in the mountain causing the little girl's eyes to shine brightly with anticipation.

"Let's go! We must go deeper into mountain!"

She tugged Raphel and he had to answer... She had given him book worth 10 gold! How could he not fulfill her wishes? This little spoiled brat also had her own charm and so, the group went deeper, now, with addition of three a.d.u.l.t bears...
