Between The Worlds

The time strangely didn't go slowly as Raphel wished. Instead, the school ended quite quickly making others to smile as if the burden had been lifted from their hearts... Of course, Raphel was exception.

The teenager who had been the snakeman for one day wished thoroughly to not experience this feeling once more. However, the changes in his body and reactions made him to think otherwise as if that one day wasn't the last day in that brutal world.

"Raphel, where are you going?"

"Home."

"What?"

Raphel obviously wasn't in mood to go and play with his friends. Surprising all of them, he quickly went towards his home.

Arriving at the home, Raphel looked at himself through the mirror. If one had to describe Raphel, then one would probably use the world 'normal'. He himself would use this word... Dark hair that was little too long reaching his eyes. Then, the normal facial features which were neither handsome or ugly.

Eyes like hair, dark which were now narrowed due to all negative emotions hidden within his heart. Neither tall nor short... neither muscular nor thin... The only thing that makes him stand out is his pale skin which is white as sheet.

"Why didn't you take some kind of popular or well-trained guy?"

Without any special features, why did they take him to this world full of brutes?! As if talking to himself, Raphel began asking the questions. In his mind, he was hoping that the being behind this would answer him or let him go.

"..."

Feeling too stupid, Raphel went up to his room. The home was quiet as his mother was still in work and due to this cold silence, the mind of Raphel was working even more...

Thrashing in his bed, he was literally begging the god to let him go!

'I don't want to go there again. I don't want to go there again.'

After the hours of pointless begging, Raphel stopped his thrashing as he simply lost his strength and got huge headache. Laying on the bed, Raphel took out his phone and began watching dismantling videos once again...

Getting used to the disgusting sight, Raphel felt that his teleportation to other world is inevitable. Thus, he had to prepare at least in this way.

Then, the hours went by as quickly as if god of time was making time to go faster. His mother already got home and even called him several times, but he had no d.e.s.i.r.e for either dinner or even talking.

Thus, after good session of dismantling videos, the time was approaching the midnight. Raphel, who was still in his school uniform focused his gaze on the clock...

23:58... 23:59... 00.00!

'No f.u.c.k.i.n.g way...'

The immense heaviness enveloped his eyes as his body got tired. Since there was no point in resisting, Raphel just closed his eyes as he already knew his destination...

The exhaustion disappeared as if it didn't appear at all. Opening his eyes, Raphel immediately knew that he appeared in the very same cave. Turning to the side, he found out the elf beauty packing her things up.

"Oh, you woke up."

The elf was lightly surprised as she scanned the Raphel's body. The snakeman found it to be strange, thus, asked quietly.

"What's wrong?"

"Umm... nothing serious. You just slept as if dead. Hehe."

"..."

He who wanders between worlds... Is his body on Earth now as if dead? Won't his mother die if she checks on him?! Raphel who was worrying over his human body realized that he has two legs here as well!

With tears of happiness, Raphel stood up only to scary the elf beauty!

"Put something on this, this!"

The little rod of Raphel became exposed as he had no pants due to his snake transformation!

"Ugh... I don't have anything to put on..."

Both of them blushed deeply. The red cheeks on blond elf looked especially beautiful which made Raphel to look at her in daze. In this brutal world, the meeting with her was truly the only good thing!

Not being able to look anymore, Elaine took out leather pants and threw it at him with fast movement. Raphel who only wished to hide his rod nimbly caught those pants as he put them on. As for his clothes, he had his casual clothes from Earth which were now quite in shattered state.

Looking stupid with holes on his t-shirt and leather pants that didn't even suit him at all, Raphel began to run after the elf who had already left the cave with embarassment!

"Nooo! Don't leave me alone! Please, please, please...."

Hearing his sorrowful cries, the elf stopped. Turning around, she asked her question with emotionless voice yet there was still little red color lingering on her cheeks.

"Why should I let you travel with me?"

Saving Raphel was easy... all she had to do was use simple healing magic. However, why should she take Raphel, who can't even use his tail? It would only burden her!

"I-I-I don't know..."

Also, Raphel casual clothes made her a little suspicious of him. After all, even though those clothes might not be useful here, they still looked to be very well done! Thus, considering all of this, the elf wasn't too eager to take him...
