Between The Worlds

The sight of her eyes bearing suspicion made Raphel tremble as Elaine was literally the only good thing that happened to him in this world. Thus, how could he let her go?!

However, it was true. Why would someone take him, the inexperienced brat who can't even use his own tail...

"I can learn!"

Seeing her turning around to leave, Raphel screamed to gather her attention. Since he himself even doesn't know the reason as to why he appears here, the only thing he can do is adapt! And, the elf who saved him is the only trustable person...

Elaine glanced at Raphel who was kneeling pitifuly as he was doing his best to stop her. The pitiful appearance of his made her decisiveness to waver. Soon, she gently sighed as she spoke...

"You can follow me..."

And so, the snakeman found his hope in this brutal world.

Following the straight back of elf, Raphel opened the chat option!

[Little Fairy: Is this dream or not?]

[The Great Luka: It's probably another world.]

[Little Fairy: Actually, one of my friends also experienced too real dream. Just like us, she had chat! But, she was human even in this world!]

'So Robert must be human as well here.'

Raphel thought as he was reading the chat. Those annoying bastards became suddenly quite useful! Then, he noticed that Elaine had stopped her walk and squatted!

Following her movement, Raphel went on his four as he noticed a bear. The very same bear from before which made Raphel to shiver as the memories from the battle once again resurfaced. Without any experience, all he can do is wait for Elaine next move...

Then, as if answering his thoughts, Elaine took out the bow and placed the arrow on bowstring. As she narrowed her eyes, the focus out of this world appeared in her eyes as even inexperienced Raphel could feel it.

Her posture was perfect, similar to that of bow. With her straight back making perfect arc, it was as if she became one with her weapon. Then, a visible wind appeared around her arrow as she released it!

The arrow pierced the wind as it pierced the forehead of the bear! One shotting the bear, Elaine wiped the sweat and smiled brightly...

'It looks easy, but as if it would be easy!'

Raphel cried inwardly... if he was alone, then there was no way he would realize that there is bear ahead. Then, even if he knew, how could he kill it? The young man had never ever fought in his whole life!

Expect childish skirmishes with his friends!

Approaching the bear, Elaine loudly said that there is no one around them. Looking at the bear that was two times bigger than those from Earth, Raphel once again grimaced in despair... However, seeing that Elaine took out the knife, the look full of resolution flashed through his face!

"Let me do it..."

The elf beauty didn't know why did he sound so serious, but she immediately regretted her decision five minutes later.

Raphel who was now kneeling before the bear has been shaking his hands non stop. Even though it was dead, Raphel still had hard time to even cut it. It has to be said, but during his night gaming, when the moth or other bug flew through his window, the first thing he usually does is run, and then kill it with mop or other similar, long weapon!

The high schooler who has problems killing bugs... now had to cut the bear!

Raphel moved his knife, but with closed eyes, thus, what he has cut wasn't the bear, but his own hand...

Elaine asked loudly as she herself felt that this is too much! As she checked the dead body with her senses, she couldn't help but mutter...
