Between The Worlds

Another world, Avira World.

Raphel woke up here after rollercauster caused by otherworlders on Earth! The crimes were non stop reported on the news channels to the point where he began feel guilty. He knew what is going on and if he would work with police and others, then the otherworlders case probably would've already ended.

Maybe not already, but definitely quickly.

He just would focus on the good timing which is midnight and chase them with his allies. After Raphel and his victim lost consciousnes, police would take the rest and kill...

'Would they kill? No... They would follow the law and imprison the otherworlder.'

And if they really would follow such law, then Raphel was one hundred precent sure that such supernatural person sooner or later would easily escape from prison.

'In the end, there are too many flaws on Earth.'

Raphel sighed and turned to the side. The parrot mask was here and its stupid design was enough to bring out smile from snakeman. He stretched his body for a while in his bed, then stood up with refreshed mind.

It's truly rare! The snakeman was enjoying the slight breeze that was going through his room in another world. He was far from being annoyed by this, rather, he felt relieved that he can get stronger by being here.

The crimes are too much!

"Let's get some bottles!"

Knowing the importance of strength here and in his home world, Raphel left the room with focused expression! When Shi saw him, she let out surprised, but pleasant gasp. She was doing morning training and parrot was here!

"Hey, Raphel! Finally awake?"

"Yeah! How is your training going?"

"Good! I feel the effects already! My motivation is just rising!"

"Coward is here, coward is here! Or not coward anymore?"

"Shut up, parrot."

"Kekekeke!"

Shi was diligently working and Raphel also could see Biruan slightly farther away smashing the tree with his b.a.r.e hands! It seems like everyone was working hard to get stronger which only steeled his d.e.s.i.r.e!

D.e.s.i.r.e to obtain bottles for potions and venom!

Because even though it was called 'assimilation', Raphel believed that he is borrowing the power from another world! So that after this abnormal event ends, his life will once again become normal! Of course, he knew that he no longer is going to be the same, but for now, Raphel himself knows positives coming from this event so it's not like he completely hates this.

'It would be the best if I could control the timing of teleportation.'

And it also would be the best if he could keep his humanity. Right now, Raphel only experienced his eyes becoming golden, but if this keeps up, then he will get scales for sure!

"Are you going for bottles?"

"Yes. Would you like to go with me for small stroll?"

"Okay, small break then!"

Shi brightly smiled and Raphel answered with even brighter one as he took her hand by himself. She was holding the towel, so he took it from her and using his two rough hands, Raphel wiped away all the sweat from the face.

"W-what about rest?"

"S-sure..."

He might become bolder thanks to recent events, but this way quite too bold, no?! Cleaning the rest of the body outside with Biruan peeking is indeed bold! However, Raphel went forward as he slid towel in quick motion throughout her whole top body!

"Ah! R-Raphel... Since when you are..."

"Don't say anything! Let's go for the bottles."

Embarrassed as never before, Raphel took Shi out from the training grounds as he saw Biruan's sneer directed straight at them! No one knew what was going through her mind as she was led by Raphel who seemed quite daring...

However, soon enough, beautiful smile arose on her face as they went through the guild with intertwined hands. Raphel went with his causal routine, meeting his first 'friend'.

"Oh, little coward. Here we... go..."

"Hello! Thanks for your support!"

"Y-yeah... It's been a while Shi... No problem..."

And the second one...

"Raphel! What's up! Ohh, you aren't alone today!"

"Hello! Thanks for your support!"

"Haha! It should be me thanking you! It's good thing to start the day after seeing beautiful lady's smile. Our division lacks those..."

"What the f.u.c.k did you say?!"

"Oh shiet."

The third one.

"Raphel! Why did you bring her with yourself?!"

"Well, she is my girlfriend, you know?"

"She knows my secrets!"

"Ohh... I see, I see..."

"Thanks for your support!"

"Heh! Isn't it obvious? You got the most beautiful elf by your side. No need to play dumb, Raphel! Haha!"

Shi was definitely in good mood. Meeting all of those people just reminded Raphel that she is actually 500 years old, so it's indeed obvious that Shi has a lot of connections here in the guild. With more bottles and stuff, Raphel had gotten a lot potions for sale and weapons for himself.

"Alright... I should now sell those..."
