Between The Worlds

Although it looked like he disappeared from the surroundings, Raphel was still around as he looked at the group of dungeon adventurers. Their wounds were really severe and no matter how suspicious they were towards the 'liquid' potions, the moment to use them arrived!

And surprisingly enough, it was working rather well.

The one who used it was the leader himself. The potion of Raphel had also soothing effects onto mind and it caused his leadership to peak, ordering and analyzing the situation suddenly became so much easier he felt glad for those potions.

After his order rang out, the two other partners simultaneously unleashed their water techniques. The huge explosions rang out from both sides, stopping the fire goat instantly upon touch. Following this, the others let out their respective weapons soaked in water magic.

"It looks like they will survive. I can only hope that they will pass some good news about me."

"After taking more cores? Quite naive."

"I know I must be... more selfish. Shi's words only reminded me, but hey, I gave them really valuable potions! Won't they think that the price was actually fine?"

Medusa's eyes turned to the side as she noticed the arrival of their own enemy. There was fire beast who was like mix between boar and tiger. Quite horrying mixes were here, but the beast was clearly not aiming at Raphel, but The young bear covered in fire leaves.

Though he was covered, the smell and his naive actions caused The young bear to stand out. He flinched as he saw the big beast, but then calmed down as also realized that... it was using him for training.

All because there was younger version of this beast as well.

"Will he... be fine?"

Isn't The young bear... normal bear? Raphel was quite worried, but Medusa's voice was calm and indifferent. She just locked her eyes below and laid herself comfortably on Raphel's hand. Then, the fire beast moved forward.

It's little mouth spewed small flames as it went wide. Actually, its teeths were burning releasing a flame, thus, the intent was clear - bite The young bear! Such abnormal and unique attack was astonishing for Raphel's partner.

Not forgetting about The young's bear age, the fire itself was special for him. All the little beast of snakeman can do is charge using its body or send his paw forward. But the opponent of his could do the same with better effects as its body was on fire!

Then, Medusa muttered as she looked at The young bear. The fur, the small body and everything was like any bears from Raphel's Earth. So what was special about The young bear!

While the duo was talking, The young bear was obviously dodging the fire teeth. Moving around, the young beast was trying to attack from blank point! That was the only chance for him, but not only he was lackin techniques, the strength also seemed low.

Simply because he was becoming slower from all this running unlike the fire beast. It led to him getting smashed by the charge of fire beast! From all this running, even the fire young beast got impatient and stopped opening the mouth!

Thus, the parent roared and rebuked.

"I said he is special. Let him fight and experience the pain and blood."

"For now, I will listen to you."

Still, Raphel's body was bent as he was ready to jump at any moment. Similarly, the fire parent was also ready to help.

The more battle went for, the more wounds began to appear on The young bear's body. His little head was so bloody it went into his eyes... Then as his body fell, the sudden change appeared. Raphel who saw this trembled as he remembered this sensation!

The red eyes of beast appeared above the little fallen body.

"Every race has its leader and he is the leader of bears. His race might be weak, but at least he himself is enough to follow you. The bloodline of other bears might help him to mutate it, so that's why the existence inside you told you to focus on his bloodline."

As she spoke about the existence in Raphel's body, the snakeman himself trembled. His heart pounded hard, then the voice unknown to him rang out from the depths of his heart.

"You dare to listen to me?!"

"Weak race! Do you understand that your race is only the first step towards our existence?! Snake Princess?!"

"I know. That's the reason for our extinction as well. And the reason as to why I am here. So? You expected me to be courteous towards you? You also have fallen, so don't act that tough. If not you becoming the 'irregular' in this ploy, then you would be probably dead like others."

The small body of blue snake lady shivered as the energy's core roared with utmost anger. It's voice was already enough to stop Raphel from rational thinking, his body on the ground while breathing as if fighting for the air.

Holding his heart was all he could do unlike Medusa who was strong enough to talk back. But the last word was filled with the both killing intent and natural born pride that shook the snake lady as she literally felt from Raphel's hand.

Only when Medusa was falling, Raphel got his senses back and instantly grabbed her shivering body. Then, his eyes naturally went towards The young bear. Right now, not only he had red eyes above his little body, but also a bit of 'fur' around those eyes.

As if he was getting more and more of this 'leaders' powers.

His whole little body had fur standing like spikes. It was the cool appearance that filled him with strength. Something he has been hoping for ever since Raphel's first real battle. And this power was indeed amazing as the little fire beast was send flying after his charge alone.

Roarrrrrr!

Then, the parent took the action. His eyes were brimming with anger as he saw its children pitiful appearance. Such outturn was unexpected, but also worrying. It was worried about his future. If The young bear grew into powerful existence, then he would come back to fight for his pride.

Roar! The young bear was confident in his victory! It stomped the ground and jumped in the similar way indeed. Just like durning the battle with Raphel! At this moment, Raphel realized that if not the energy's core inside his body, then he would definitely lose back then!

Boom!

The clash ended up in draw! But is draw satisfactory result for both parties? Definitely no! And to everyone's surprise, the young bear took the first recharge! He shook his body and in mere seconds was already closer to the fire beast!

Roarrrrrr!

"The young bear! You are so f.u.c.k.i.n.g cool!"

It was 13th floor! Isn't it amazing?! The young bear was fighting toe in toe with the beast from this place and its resolution and power were slowly overwhelming the fire beast! As the fire beast realized the seriousness of this battle, its body shone with fire all over its fur, then the huge streaks of flames left his disgusting lips.

The fire was definitely not something that The young bear could take on. Of course, The young bear ain't alone. If the parent is fighting, then Raphel as the older one must step in!

Which was something he had done instantly after the beast transformed.

Those sudden green claws appeared in front of little bear eyes and as he saw those, the sense of security went through his body as he only focused on his small nails. Those nails shone as though filled with magic!

"Let's go, partner."

Roar!

Both idiots smashed their strengthened nails against the fire fur! Soon enough, the fire beast fell as its body got slashed several times by two young adventurers...

Roar! Roar! Roar!

"The young bear, don't cry! They will grow back!"

But only The young bear... lost his nails!
