Chapter 10 - Wipe off that drool- Part 1

"Are you mad?" His face remains as serious as ever, not a tinge of sarcasm visible.

"Okay let's see… You've asked me whether I'm a vampire- I'm not neither am I a werewolf. Do such things really exist? I mean I saw you do that scary face thing but I still think it's not true… ugh! Stop talking! You're giving me a headache."

His eyebrow lifts up as he speaks, "You're the one who's talking! And that headache you're experiencing is due to the sea of alcohol you consumed last night."

"I was talking to myself." I clarify and notice his eyebrow lift even higher in confusion, "You were the one who asked me to drink." I groan and feel my stomach contents make an internal somersault.

"You could always deny."

"Alright shut up! And this time I'm talking to you." I yell. One of his facial muscle twitches in anger.

The room suddenly becomes completely silent, making me feel better but then I realise what's going to happen next!

My hand instantly clutches my stomach, "I'm going to puke!" I whisper weakly but he catches it. Instead of moving further away he takes a step forward, standing just in front, where I can throw up on his shoes. And I do.

His hands reach forward and for a moment I think he's going to throttle me but then they reach past my neck, gathering all my hair strands, holding them away from my mouth.

Oh.

When I'm done, he hands over a clean, white handkerchief. I wipe the vomit dripping down my chin. Ew.

I close my eyes, not wanting to see the expression on his face.

Another incident to add to the never ending 'embarrassing moments' list! Great, Diana!

Oh shut up!

I open them again and see there's not one but two guys standing in front of me with the exact same pose. I rub my eyes and realise the other guy looks exactly like him, "Oh I knew you had a doppelganger! He's the nicer version. He even knows how to smile. Nice to meet you again!" I extend my hand forward but both of them look at me with identical confused expressions.

I frown and that's when my head starts spinning and dark spots appear in my field of vision, "I'm going to faint." I inform.

"What? Right now?" both of them say hurriedly but I hear only one voice. My body collapses and I prepare myself for the pain which will follow after I hit the hard floor but that doesn't happen. Instead I feel strong, familiar arms wrap around me, holding me still just as I am drawn into unconsciousness.
