Blossoming Flowers

Chapter 69 - First Day at Work

Jiang Yingyue looked at Han Qingshan with a smile on her face. "What are you doing here?" she asked confusedly. Was he not busy with the whole drama concerning Imperial World?

"I was here to pick you up, we are going to work," he said casually as he looked at the watch on his wrist.

"Oh, okay," Jiang Yingyue nodded her head and thought no more of it as she followed behind Han Qingshan out of the university grounds towards the parking lot and into his car.

During this time, neither Jiang Yingyue nor Han Qingshan were capable of noticing that someone was standing in the distance, snapping pictures of their interactions.

In the photos, one could see Jiang Yingyue smiling gently, her eyes brimming with happiness, and Han Qingshan looking at her dotingly. Even the photos of him patting her head had been caught, showing the endearing behavior of them both.

Without knowing what was happening, both of them started driving out of campus and drove towards Imperial World.

Jiang Yingyue was new to places like these. She had been to the Han Corporation once before with Han Qingshan, but that was all she had seen, so as they arrived at the parking bas.e.m.e.nt of the Imperial World headquarters, Jiang Yingyue looked around curiously.

They made it to the elevator and took it to the highest floor of the building where Han Qingshan's office was located.

On the highest floor was the office for Song Liwei, a single secretary, and then Han Qingshan's office.

Jiang Yingyue was looking at everything with excitement, and it was not before Song Liwei appeared that she reined in her curiosity.

Song Liwei was well aware that Han Qingshan had hired Jiang Yingyue to be a temporary assistant, as he had been the one to make the contract, but he was still slightly surprised when he saw how good a mood this simple thing had caused Han Qingshan to be in.

Although everyone thought that Han Qingshan was a sunshine boy, a person who was always happy and easygoing, Song Liwei had been by his side long enough to know that this was just a mask he was wearing in front of others.

But looking at the smile on Han Qingshan's lips, it was obvious that it was not fake. It was, in fact, his innermost emotions.

No one else in the office knew about Han Qingshan hiring another assistant, so the secretary was rather stumped when she saw the two of them arriving together; even more surprised was she when she heard the order that was given to Song Liwei.

"Jiang Fengmian is new to the Imperial World headquarters," Han Qingshan said casually as he looked at Song Liwei. "Show him around the office and let him familiarize himself with the different departments. Make sure that they get used to him too."

Song Liwei did not complain about this task. He was aware that it was a show of utmost trust to be designated to the task of showing Jiang Yingyue around.

Jiang Yingyue was special to Han Qingshan. He was not just the usual friend; even Song Liwei could feel this. Although he was not aware of the fact that Han Qingshan had some improper thoughts about Jiang Yingyue, he could feel the weight that this young girl had on his master's heart.

"Well then, Young Master Jiang, please follow me," Song Liwei said smilingly as he led Jiang Yingyue towards the elevator once more.

When they stopped by the secretary, Song Liwei introduced them to one another, "Secretary Qing, this is Jiang Fengmian. He is a friend of Young Master Shan and also his newly hired part-time assistant."

Secretary Qing was surprised when she heard this, her eyes glistening with an urge to know whether or not there was some gossip to be picked up upon.

Jiang Yingyue flashed her most brilliant smile at Secretary Qing and reached out her hand, shaking the hand of the secretary.

"You are a friend of Young Master Shan?" The secretary asked, and Jiang Yingyue nodded her head. "Han Qingshan and I are indeed good friends," she answered without much thought to it, but in the ears of the secretary, all that mattered was the fact that Jiang Yingyue was allowed to call his name, not having to refer to him as Young Master Shan.

The soul of the woman suddenly stirred. Could this young woman perhaps be the reason that Han Qingshan was so unfeeling towards women?

Being in Imperial World, she was aware of the extreme amount of women who had tried to climb into his bed in an attempt of getting better resources, but all of them had been politely blocked as long as they had not gone over the top. Those who had been too desperate had been dealt with swiftly, and now everyone knew that Han Qingshan was not someone you could sleep with just for the sake of easy benefits.

Because of this, a rumor had sprung up about Han Qingshan being gay. But he had no relationsh.i.p.s with the male artists either, and he was as clean as a white sheet of paper.N. No one had been able to dig up any dirt on him.

But now he was suddenly being friendly to a young and extremely handsome young man.

This young man even referred to him by his name. How could her fujoshi soul not start screaming? The moment that she shook Jiang Yingyue's hand, a cunning grin flashed on her face before she took a casual photo of Jiang Yingyue as she got ready to leave again.
