Blossoming Flowers

While Jiang Yingyue and Song Liwei went towards the elevator to be shown around the headquarters, the secretary opened her phone and found the WeChat group for the employees.

As soon as she opened it, she sent the picture she had taken before and explained everything that had happened in detail.

All the employees of the company were in the group, and while not all of them checked it instantly, a few did, and they quickly spread the news from mouth to mouth, and soon everyone had checked their phones.

Han Qingshan had hired a temporary part-time assistant. This assistant was young and attractive, and he was a boy. At the same time, this assistant could refer to Han Qingshan by his name, and even Song Liwei had been tasked with accompanying him to see the headquarters. One would expect Song Liwei to be superior, but looking at his polite and rather humbling appearance, it was clear that this new assistant was nowhere near ordinary.

Everyone was curious, and although the secretary had not said anything directly, many could understand her insinuations that there was something more between these two people.

The celebrities of Imperial World were not in the company WeChat group, however many of the managers were, and one of these managers managed the A-listing celebrity Yu Xiulan.

Yu Xiulan was a young woman who came from a humble background. She had been scouted by Han Qingshan three years prior when he just started Imperial World, and she was the one he gave the most resources from the first day.

There had been many rumors about the two of them having some sort of relationship since he was giving her so much attention, and she herself had grown to think that she was special to Han Qingshan.

It was also because of this that she had refused to leave him when the Starry Night Entertainment Agency came to talk with her about joining them.

She would never leave the Imperial World who had groomed her from being a poor girl into a superstar.

When she was poor, she did not wish for much in life. She wanted to be given food every day and to be able to provide for her family. Now that she could do this, she was no longer as humble as before. She wanted to be with Han Qingshan for real, not just in a rumored relationship as she had heard rumors about.

She had never approved of the rumors out of fear of Han Qingshan's annoyance, but she had not declined them either, and he had never said anything about it before.

Yu Xiulan was very close to her manager, and when the manager received the message from the secretary, her eyes narrowed.

"I think I have a way for you to get closer to Young Master Shan," the manager said, slightly excited.

"There is a new part-time assistant working for Young Master Shan," she continued, "this part-time assistant is a good friend of the young master, and apparently they are so close that he refers to him by his own name instead of 'Young Master Shan' like everyone else.

"If you become good friends with him, then you can use him to get closer to Young Master Shan too. Just make sure never to take it too far, only be friends with him, Young Master Shan will not look at you if you become an item with his friend."

Yu Xiulan listened intently and her eyes flashed. "What does he look like?" She asked curiously, and the manager quickly handed over her phone, allowing for the artist to see the picture.

"He is very handsome," Yu Xiulan praised Jiang Yingyue with a nod of her head. "He could make it big in the entertainment industry. I wonder why he only accepted becoming an assistant instead."

The woman looked at Jiang Yingyue's photo and her brows furrowed slightly. She did not know why, but she had an innate dislike towards this handsome young man.

"Let us go back to the headquarters and casually run into him," Yu Xiulan said after considering her options. "I think he might be the missing link to connect me to Young Master Shan. When Young Master Shan gets to know me, he will fall for me right away."

"There is a rumor about Han Qingshan being in a homos.e.x.u.a.l relationship with this new assistant though," the manager said hesitatingly. She could also understand the insinuation within the message that the secretary had sent.

"Do you honestly think that the only descendant of the Han family could be gay?" Yu Xiulan cut in fast and with a cold voice. "Even if he liked a man, he would never act on these instincts. He understands his responsibility towards his family, and he will do what is expected from him."

The manager thought about it and understood that what Yu Xiulan said was absolutely correct. Even if he was gay, he would not act on the impulse. He had to ensure that his family would continue to grow and to do so he would have to marry and have kids.

Yu Xiulan had long since decided that the one person who was supposed to be Mrs. Han was her. Han Qingshan had done a lot for her, and although he was very friendly in general, it was rare for him to do so much.

Thinking like this, the two, manager and artist, got into the brand-new sports car and drove towards the headquarters.

While they were driving, and while rumors were spreading all over, Song Liwei was showing Jiang Yingyue around the headquarters.

They went to different departments, and Jiang Yingyue familiarized herself with the different places and people.

Everyone was friendly towards her, and although they were very curious, they all behaved incredibly politely and respectfully, not doing anything out of the ordinary.
