Blossoming Flowers

Manager Zheng and Xie Lijie were shocked when they heard what Jiang Yingyue said. Although she was an A-lister, not all her roles were the main lead now either, so she was not opposed to taking the role of a second female lead, or even a third female lead.

What she was worried about was that there were no roles for her to pick up, as all of them would be allocated to the oldies from Imperial World, but according to the words of Jiang Yingyue, it sounded like they were willing to even invest in shows for her sake.

Unable to believe that what she said was true, both Xie Lijie and Manager Zheng looked at Han Qingshan with sparkling eyes.

Seeing their behavior he chuckled slightly. Jiang Yingyue had the same idea as him, and the way she said it was so eloquent that he was very pleased.

"Since my Fengmian said so, then obviously it will be so," Han Qingshan admitted readily, and once more Jiang Yingyue realized that he was referring to her by purely Fengmian. This time he even added a 'my' in front of her name, and her face blushed red.

Hearing his words and seeing Jiang Yingyue's bashful expression, both Xie Lijie and Manager Zheng understood a thing or two.

They smiled knowingly but said nothing, and not long after a contract was signed. Han Qingshan had already added the clause about her gaining a certain amount of resources each year, as he knew she would request it, and upon seeing the contract both Manager Zheng and Xie Lijie heaved a heavy sigh of relief.

After signing the contract, both of them felt relieved, and they stayed to chat for a short while while being given certain information such as when they could announce the switch, and so on.

In total, the two had been there for twenty minutes when they left. It was all about business, and it had been solved fast and without any hiccups.

"Did I do okay?" Jiang Yingyue asked nervously when looking at Han Qingshan. She had not expected that he would call her out like this, so she had been shocked, and could only say what she thought after having read the information about Xie Lijie.

"You did great," Han Qingshan said as he rubbed her head tenderly, a smile playing on his lips.

He reached into the briefcase afterward and found the next person's papers. This was another A-listing celebrity. This one was of a man named Peng Jiang.

Peng Jiang was twenty-three years old and was mainly starring in movies. He was different from Xie Lijie, and while she had had almost no scandals, this man was riddled with them.

He had scandals about women left and right, even scandals about some having been paid to have abortions, and others about him being involved with a number of women at once.

However, even though there were scandals about him everywhere, none of them truly managed to bring him down. He was a second-generation heir, and he had been able to pay the right people to shut up at the right time.

As to why he wanted to meet with Han Qingshan, Jiang Yingyue could guess it was his family's idea.

He had debuted just before Imperial World was founded, and he had been unable to join them as no one was willing to break their contract and be seen as a traitor in the industry, neither to be labeled as one in the society too.

But now things were different. For a short while, it was okay to break one's contract and join Imperial World, and he had taken advantage of this.

His family wished to work together with the Han Corporation, and if their son got close to Han Qingshan, this would be much simpler.

Unfortunately, even his family had a hard time controlling Peng Jiang and were aware that he would try to be mischievous when meeting Young Master Shan, so they had threatened him with taking away his money, should he not be behaving well.

There was another knock on the door, and Jiang Yingyue once more rose to her feet, went to open the door and was stunned when she saw the tall man outside.

Peng Jiang was incredibly attractive. Not as attractive as Han Qingshan, but attractive in a bad-boy way, and he had an aura around him that made people relaxed and comfortable.

"Hey cutie, we are here to see Han Qingshan," the tall, handsome Peng Jiang said while smiling as he reached out to touch Jiang Yingyue's face.

Jiang Yingyue was stumped for words when she heard him, and she quickly stepped backward, her face slightly unsightly.

She had not disliked being touched by Han Qingshan, but the thought of this man touching her was making her feel nauseous. Even if he was handsome, she would not let him touch her.

Fortunately, he did not continue when he missed her face, and instead, he shrugged his shoulders and strode into the room.

Behind him was a shorter man, the manager, who was hired by his family to try and keep him under control.

"I apologize for Young Master Jiang," the manager said, as he had seen the entire process before. "He is a little touchy and has a weakness for handsome and pretty things. It seems he took a liking to your face."

"No problem," Jiang Yingyue answered, trying to avoid causing problems, but she was much more alert afterward and went straight back next to Han Qingshan, not willing to be close to Peng Jiang.
