Blossoming Flowers

Chapter 87 - Lend Him to Me

Han Qingshan was looking rather ugly as well. He did not act, but his appearance was showing that he was anything but pleased.

Peng Jiang sat down on the chair and smiled at Han Qingshan, but his eyes were focused on Jiang Yingyue, looking at her as if he was trying to look through her clothes.

"Young Master Shan, we are here today to try and discuss the move to Imperial World," the manager opened up. "We have already terminated the contract with the Starry Sky Entertainment Agency, and are currently without a company. We have two options: one is to join Imperial World; another is to make an independent company for ourselves.

"Of these two options, the best is obviously to work together with Imperial World. This is the place with most resources and also the place with the most prestige.

"We do not require much in return for joining, but we do hope that you will cultivate Young Master Jiang's reputation."

Han Qingshan looked at them with narrowed eyes. "Your reputation is already tarnished, and rather terrible. To cultivate a new reputation for you will exhaust our public relations department, but it is doable."

Jiang Yingyue had been sitting with a hope that Han Qingshan would not sign Peng Jiang, but she knew she could not say anything as this was work. Personal opinions and feelings should not be mixed with business.

Han Qingshan's eyes flashed coldly as he picked a contract from within the briefcase.

Han Qingshan had prepared two contracts for each person he was meeting: one was a generous contract which included a certain amount of resources, while the other was much harsher. It did not include any resources as a standard, and everything would have to be fought for depending on one's attitude and performance.

The contract that Han Qingshan picked was the harsh contract. He placed it in front of Peng Jiang and his manager and allowed them to read it through.

The manager was slightly unhappy with the fact that no resources had been allocated to him from the beginning, but he also understood that this might not be possible when they were accepting so many new artists.

The main reason for them to join Imperial World was not for the sake of further improving Peng Jiang's career, but for the sake of allowing the Peng family to get closer to the Han family.

Jiang Yingyue was silent this time, and Han Qingshan asked nothing of her either. He could feel that she was slightly uncomfortable being next to Peng Jiang, and he did not want to put her on the spot in front of someone she did not like.

Peng Jiang had a small smile on his lips as he had leaned back in the chair. He did not say anything, but his eyes stayed on Jiang Yingyue, he stared at her so openly that Jiang Yingyue could only look down onto the table, not wanting to lift her head at all and meet his eyes.

She disliked him from when she first read his papers. Forcing women into abortion with money, switching girlfriends as often as changing clothes, and causing problems left and right, only to solve them with money again.

She disliked the ones who wanted to solve everything with money. She wanted people to be responsible for their actions, and know that each decision would have consequences.

Unfortunately, he was not the kind of person who would honestly accept his responsibility, so Jiang Yingyue had a bad impression of him.

But her current job was as Han Qingshan's assistant. She should consider what was best for the company, and that was unmistakably to sign Peng Jiang.

Han Qingshan and the manager discussed the clauses in the contract, added a few, and deleted a few before they agreed on a contract that was accepted by both.

After that, Peng Jiang casually signed his name, not caring for what the contract said. In fact, he had not looked away from Jiang Yingyue since he had entered the room. Clearly, he had not had any interest in the contract at all.

"Young Master Shan," Peng Jiang spoke out just as they were about to leave, his eyes glancing at Jiang Yingyue again, "When you are tired of your assistant, please send him to me. I will take extra good care of him, he is just my type."

Han Qingshan's face frosted over when he heard the words, a chilling atmosphere appearing in the room, and Peng Jiang's smile stiffened slightly.

"Fengmian is my friend, not just any other assistant," he said with a low and dangerous voice. "If you dare to have any ideas towards him, then the Peng family does not need to stay in this country anymore."

Hearing the domineering words, Peng Jiang finally understood that he had stepped over Han Qingshan's boundaries and he quickly apologized, "I am sorry, I did not mean it like that." he muttered, but the eyes that looked at Jiang Yingyue were still lecherous.

Jiang Yingyue's fists were clenched hard, and her teeth were grinding against one another, but she said nothing. She just waited. Currently, she did not have the power to deal with Peng Jiang, but she would definitely do something to him when she got the chance.

The manager saw that things were moving in a different and wrong direction, and he quickly grabbed Peng Jiang's arm and dragged him out of the conference room.

As they vanished, Han Qingshan turned around and looked at Jiang Yingyue. He lifted his hand and patted her head.

"Don't worry," he said gently, "I will take revenge for you."
