Blossoming Flowers

Chapter 93 - Foodie Heaven

While Han Qingshan answered the phone, Jiang Yingyue also picked up her phone and started surfing the internet.

She found that the most famous subjects on Weibo were about the artists who had joined Imperial World and left Starry Sky Entertainment Agency.

Further down the list were the statements that Imperial World had shared with everyone else, and finally, after scrolling a bit more, she found a topic that made her frown.

It was about Han Qingshan and his s.e.x.u.a.lity. Although the news was not new anymore, at least a few days to a week old, it was still reported by some journalists on alternative accounts, and as a result, it had taken a long time for it to truly break through.

But their specialty was to announce the news, and this was a groundbreaking discovery, so eventually, it would gain some fame.

Jiang Yingyue was flabbergasted when she found that there was, in fact, even a picture of Han Qingshan lifting her like a princess from the time when she had been wounded, and kicked out of the condo by his cousin.

The picture did indeed seem very romantic, but because she knew the actual reason behind it, she was indignant.

She suddenly realized that this was likely the reason why he had gotten a phone call, and she started to feel guilty. It was because of her and her problems that he was suddenly framed like this, and it was all her fault that he was viewed as a gay man now.

She suddenly did not feel like eating anymore and felt incredibly bad about herself, but moments after, Han Qingshan returned to the room, a handsome smile on his face, and a soft and pampering gleam in his eyes.

There was no blame, no hostility, and no disgust in his eyes; only affection, and warmth.

Seeing this, she felt even worse. She had done nothing but cause problems for him since they had gotten to know one another, and she could not help but wonder what she should do to make up for it.

Seeing her puffed up cheeks and her slightly red eyes, Han Qingshan noticed the phone which was by her side, and he instantly guessed what had happened.

"Don't worry," he said with a smile as he reached over the table and gently patted Jiang Yingyue's head. "I have already dealt with it, it will be taken down shortly," he promised.

Nodding her head, Jiang Yingyue was incapable of answering. She just felt bad about the whole situation, but whenever Han Qingshan was so warm towards her, it was harder and harder for her to extricate herself from it.

Just as Jiang Yingyue was about to say something, the door of the room opened, and the waiter appeared with their appetizers.

Looking at the food, Jiang Yingyue still felt somewhat guilty, but she also felt hungry, and her stomach growled, making her embarrassed, and flushed red with shame.

"Let's eat," Han Qingshan laughed, finding her extremely adorable. He did not bring up the subject of his s.e.x.u.a.lity; mainly because he did not want Jiang Yingyue asking about whether or not he was actually gay.

Even he himself was still unaware of his actual s.e.x.u.a.lity, so how could he possibly explain himself to Jiang Yingyue?

Jiang Yingyue did not bring up the subject either after hearing that Han Qingshan said he would deal with it. She had complete faith in him.

Since he was clearly still in a good mood, Jiang Yingyue also became happy, and the happier she became, the more she started to enjoy the food.

The soup was simply divine; the taste was so good that she did not want to think about anything else other than eating, and eventually, she was in a world of her own.

Han Qingshan was having fun watching her eat with such delight, and he quickly let go of the remnant dissatisfaction he had about someone publishing his relationship with Jiang Yingyue.

He had already contacted Hei Yi to solve the problem, not only for his own sake but also for his friend, who was currently the target of all the gossip.

Jiang Yingyue did not notice that the final ice in Han Qingshan's eyes was thawing as he was looking at her. He slowly ate his food, and somehow, it felt much more delicious than when he usually ate here.

Eventually, the meal came to a close, and Jiang Yingyue leaned back on the throne-like chair and rubbed her stomach with p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e.

"Han Qingshan, you are a wonderful friend!" she exclaimed excitedly. "Not only are you helping me get great food, but you are also supporting and protecting me. You are simply amazing!"

Han Qingshan was feeling ecstatic hearing Jiang Yingyue praise him as amazing, and his mood soared even higher than before.

"Let us get going." Han Qingshan rose from the chair and looked at his watch. "We still have some time," he continued. "So let us go for a walk before we meet at the nightclub."

Jiang Yingyue looked at Han Qingshan with a bit of uncertainty on her face. "Is this a good idea?" She could not help but ask. "With the rumors surrounding us right now, is it really a good idea to be seen going around the streets together?"

Han Qingshan looked at Jiang Yingyue, and the excitement in his heart slowly cooled down. Was Jiang Yingyue upset about the rumors? Did she hate being paired together with him?

Jiang Yingyue looked genuinely worried, but Han Qingshan started feeling uncomfortable, and he could not help but blurt out, "Are the rumors a problem for you?"
